Abstract

This study aims to know the influence of the guided inquiry model on the concept understanding of ecosystem material for class X students of SMAN 10 Kendari. kind of this research is quasi-experiment research with the research design being the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research sample amounted to 52 students who were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental class group and the control class group. The research instrument used was an objective test in the form of multiple choice (Multiple Choice Item Test). The results of the descriptive analysis show that there is an increase in the value of understanding the concepts taught by the guided inquiry model and direct learning. The increase in the value of understanding the concepts of students who are taught using the guided inquiry model is 32.24 and indirect learning is 27.77. The results of the inferential analysis show that the significance value obtained is 0.014 which is smaller than the alpha value equal to 0.05 so it can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry model has a positive and significant impact on students' understanding of the concept of ecosystem material.

Abstract

Technological developments are currently growing, this can be seen from the increasing lifestyle of people, one of which is the increased consumption of fast food or junk food, it is known that fast food has low nutritional content and high calories, so it can trigger inflammation in the body accompanied by the emergence of disease. which is harmful to the body if consumed for a long time. To minimize the occurrence of disease, in recent years scientists have been intensively conducting research on the discovery of new drugs derived from plants, one of the plants that has the potential as an anti-inflammatory is the kedondong plant. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the potential of the kedondong plant as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Based on testing with several extraction methods and compound test methods, bioactive compounds were found, the compounds contained were phenolics, tannins, saponins and flavonoids which are a group of antioxidant compounds. These compounds were found in leaves, stems, fruits and roots, every part of the kedondong plant has bioactive compounds, through tests carried out. The bioactive compounds in kedondong are known to reduce the expression of iNOS, TLR4, Th1, interleukin (IL) and cytokines genes, these genes are expressed genes in the process of inflammation. So that the antioxidant content in the kedondong plant has the potential as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting the genes that are expressed in the process of inflammation. The content of bioactive compounds contained is also influenced by the solvent in the extraction process carried out.

Abstract

Tourism development is one of the efforts to advance and develop tourist attraction objects into positive things in order to improve people's welfare in an economic sense. The purpose of this study was to determine public awareness in the development of the Lakeba beach tourism area in Baubau City. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by making coastal communities as research subjects. Sources of data from this study were in the form of direct observation techniques, interviews and documentation to obtain data related to public awareness in the development of Lakeba Beach tourism in Baubau City. The results of this study concluded that public awareness in the development of the Lakeba beach tourism area has not been maximized due to the lack of government involvement in the development of the beach tourism area. Abstract

Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) is a plantation commodity with high economic value. The need for cacao is increasing but the production yields are decreasing every year, so it is necessary to increase cocoa production. The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of liquid organic fertilizer can increase the growth of cocoa plants and how to apply liquid organic fertilizer to cocoa plants. The research was carried out in several stages, namely making liquid organic fertilizer and planting cocoa plants. This study used a randomized block design with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer to cocoa seedling plants had an effect on growth and gave better results than without the application of liquid organic fertilizer. The highest yield was found in the 500 mL/L treatment with an average plant height of 20.67 cm, leaf area of 28.49 cm and an average number of leaves of 5.67.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in inquiry skills and student learning outcomes in science learning the subject matter of substance pressure class VIII SMPS Oikumene Kendari through the application of the guided inquiry learning model This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were students of class VIII SMPS Oikumene Kendari who were registered in the even semester of the 2021/202 school year, totaling 29 people. The data collected in this study were data on inquiry skill and student learning outcomes. From the results of data analysis, it was concluded that: 1) the inquiry skills of students in the first cycle were 2.43 in the sufficient category, while in the second cycle, 3.21 were in the good category; 2) the average value of students' learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average value of 72.48 with a standard deviation of 12.69, while in the second cycle the average value of student learning outcomes was 78.87 with a standard deviation of 8.32.

Abstract

Medicinal plants play a very vital role in their use for medicine, in addition to providing ecological, economic and cultural benefits. Since ancient times, plants have been used as a source of effective and safe medicines. Plants can have medicinal properties because they contain secondary metabolites or other bioactive compounds. This study uses samples of medicinal plants that have been used by the people of North Buton as traditional medicine for hundreds of years. This plant has never been reported in previous studies. This study aims to determine the types of medicinal plants and the phytochemical content contained in these plants. The research was conducted with several stages of identification and phytochemical testing. The phytochemicals analyzed included flavonoid alkaloids, tannins, steroids, terpenoids, saponins and phenols. Phytochemical tests were carried out on plant organs, namely roots, stems and leaves. The results of plant identification showed that the plant was a genus of Embelia. Furthermore, the results of phytochemical tests showed that the roots and stems of Embelia sp. contains flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, saponins, tannins and phenols. Furthermore, the leaves of Embelia sp. contains alkaloids, steroids, saponins, tannins and phenols.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the learning motivation of class VII B students of SMP Negeri 6 Trenggalek Semester II for the 2022/2023 Academic Year with the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Role Playing on Ecology material. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) in 2 cycles. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires to measure learning motivation and test questions to measure student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used in this study is a comparative descriptive technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) by applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Role Playing, students' learning motivation increases; 2) Likewise, the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Role Playing effectively improves student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Hydroponic cultivation is very popular throughout the world due to efficient resource management and quality food production. This research aims to compare the use of liquid organic fertilizer with liquid chemical fertilizer (AB Mix) on the growth of mustard greens in a hydroponic system. The research used a Randomized Block Design with 2 treatments and three replications. The research stages include: preparation of tools and materials, preparation of the hydropic building, making liquid organic fertilizer, sowing and planting, measuring plant height, number of leaves, leaf length and leaf width. The results of the research showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer and liquid chemical fertilizer did not have a significant difference in the growth of mustard greens, both in the growth of plant height, leaf width, leaf length and leaf width

Abstract

Online learning platforms are learning media used in distance learning activities. Online learning platforms are growing rapidly as a result of covid-19, currently many platforms are being used. Some of these platforms include Google meet, Zoom, Edmodo and WhatsApp. This research aims to compare several online learning platforms in improving students' critical thinking skills. The research uses a meta-analysis method, namely by searching for research that is relevant to the research topic on Google School. The research was then analyzed by calculating the effect size value. The results of the research show that the platforms that have the highest effect in improving students' critical thinking skills are Google meet, Edemo, Zoom and WhatsApp respectively with an effect size value of 0.50; 0.43; 0.39; and 0.23.

Abstract

Implementasi merdeka belajar merupakan langkah pemerintah untuk mewujudkan sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan berkarakter profil pelajar pancasila. Penanaman pendidikan karakter dapat dilaksanakan dengan mengintregasikan budaya kearifan lokal. Kurikulum merdeka menjadi perhatian saat ini. Kurikulum merdeka belajar memberi kebebasan pada guru dan siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dan kemampuan yang sudah ada pada dirinya dalam pelatihan, nilai lebih ditempatkan pada aspek pengetahuan. Kurikulum merdeka telah diimplementasikan baik tingkat Sekolah Dasar maupun Perguruan Tinggi. Penelitian tentang kurikulum merdeka penting dilakukan, mengingat penerapan kurikulum merdeka yangbelum menyeluruh hingga ke pelosok daerah, ditambah pentingnya integrasi kearifan lokal ke dalam kurikulum merdeka. Kurikulum merdeka berbasis kearifan lokal masih menjadi hal baru yang memang perlu dilaksanakan di sekolah tingkat dasar hingga menengah atas
