Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan proses sians siswa pada materi Bakteri. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 112 siswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan cara purposive sampling yakni menentukan sampel sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dari beberapa kelas yang ada dari kedua sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Peningkatan keterampilan proses sains ditunjukkan oleh nilai N-gain dari rerata nilai pretest dan posttest siswa. Nilai N-gain keterampilan proses sains yang dibelajarkan dengan model inkuiri terbimbing yakni SMAN 10 Kendari 0.59 dan SMAN 11 Kendari 0.53 sedangkan yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung yakni pada SMAN 10 Kendari 0.45 dan SMAN 11 Kendari 0.45 dengan signifikan 0.00 pada α 0.05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan proses sains. Kata Kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, keterampilan proses sains

Abstract

This study aims to know the influence of the guided inquiry model on the concept understanding of ecosystem material for class X students of SMAN 10 Kendari. kind of this research is quasi-experiment research with the research design being the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research sample amounted to 52 students who were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental class group and the control class group. The research instrument used was an objective test in the form of multiple choice (Multiple Choice Item Test). The results of the descriptive analysis show that there is an increase in the value of understanding the concepts taught by the guided inquiry model and direct learning. The increase in the value of understanding the concepts of students who are taught using the guided inquiry model is 32.24 and indirect learning is 27.77. The results of the inferential analysis show that the significance value obtained is 0.014 which is smaller than the alpha value equal to 0.05 so it can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry model has a positive and significant impact on students' understanding of the concept of ecosystem material.

Abstract

Program Leasing  (Literasi asyik dan menyenangkan) berbasis ilmuwan cilik di SD Negeri 115 Buton bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan aplikatif. Program ini melibatkan serangkaian kegiatan, yaitu sosialisasi kepada siswa dan pelatihan yang dilakukan berupa implementasi praktikum uji kandungan makanan dengan melakukan uji karbohidrat, uji protein, uji lemak dan uji vitamin. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan minat siswa SD Negeri 115 Buton terhadap Literasi sains serta kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar sains melalui pendekatan praktis. Persentase peningkatan literasi untuk uji karbohidrat dari 45% mencapai 70%. Persentase peningkatan literasi uji protein dari 45% mencapai 75%. Peningkatan literasi sains untuk uji lemak dari 45% mencapai 65%, lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan uji lainnya. Hal ini mungkin menunjukkan bahwa siswa sedikit lebih sulit memahami konsep terkait lemak dibandingkan dengan nutrisi lainnya. Uji vitamin menunjukkan peningkatan tertinggi dalam literasi sains dari 45% mencapai 80%. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa siswa paling mudah memahami materi yang berkaitan dengan vitamin dan fungsinya dalam tubuh.

Abstract

Pengetahuan mengenasi bahaya asap rokok oleh anak sekolah dasar 1 bandar batuga dibangku kelas lima sedikit sekali mengetahui bahanya asap, Tujuan dari penyeluhan untuk siswa 1 bandar Batauga dapat meningkatkan minat rasa ingin tahu mereka mengenai asap rokok begitu luas, bukan sebatas asap rokok tidak menyebabkan hal yang wajar namun dapat merusak sistem pernafasan serta apa fungsi organ pernafasan pada maunisa, sehingga adanya edukasi lewat pengetahuan organ-organ pernafasan ,Metode yaitu siswa diberi informasi berupa penjelasan bentuk video, tanya jawab serta contoh kesaharian yang mereka temui dikalangan lingkungan, hasil yang dapatkan bahwa Edukasi yang dijalankan ini melalui mata Pelajaran yang ditempuh siswa kelas 5 SDN 1 Bandar Batauga, sekitar 15 orang dengan mengikuti yaitu konsep materi organ-organ tubuh pada manusia, siswa mengikuti penyebutan jenis-jenis dan fungsi organ terkecil didaam hidung dan paru-paru spserti hidung, tungkai hidung, kotak suara, dan saluran nafas siswa mengetahui kandungan rokok, dan penyebab gejala penyakit dari asap rokok , siswa mengetahui cara mengatasiSerta mengisi instrument.

Abstract

Kecamatan Lea-Lea, Kota Bau-Bau, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Memilki produksi rumput laut, setiap tahun menmiliki buget penjualan yang memadai dipasarkan. Salah satu pulau yang membudidayakan rumput laut sebagai penghasil kebutuhan masyarakat adalah kelurahan palabusa yakni pesisirnya, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yaitu teknik penelitian menghasilkan data berdasarkan pada fakta di lapangan, Tempat Penelitian ini Terletak di Pantai Kelurahan Palabusa Kecamatan Lea-Lea, Sulawesi Tenggara, Adapun waktu dalam penelitian dilaksanakan mulai dari tanggal 10 Januari 2024 sampai 10 Febuari 2024, Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah para Nelayan budidaya rumput laut yang berjumlah 20 orang, Peneliti Menggunakan beberapa Teknik dalam pengumpulan data sebagai berikut, Observasi, Wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 3 jenis dari 1 devisi yaitu Rhodopita: Eucheuma denticulatum, Eucheuma spinosum, Eucheuma Cotoni..Parameter fisika dan kimia yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah suhu air, tipe substrat, salinitas, dan pH. Berdasarkan pengamatan parameter fisik dan kimia kawasan perairan Pantai Palabusa terdapat rumput laut memiliki suhu yang berbeda

Abstract

Waste constitutes a significant issue encountered by numerous places in Indonesia. The waste issue remains inadequately addressed due to a disparity between the capacity of waste managers and the volume of garbage generated. In addition, the lack of public awareness to manage waste properly is a major obstacle. The Topa Pantai environment is one of the areas in Baubau City that is not free from waste problems. The purpose of this community service activity is to foster an attitude of environmental concern in the community through a chain message program, namely environmental waste management so that it is clean, comfortable, healthy, beautiful, and also beautiful as an effort to realize sustainable development. The activity was carried out in the form of socialization, training, and education in the Topa environment, and the local community (housewives) and students of Topa Elementary School were involved as partners. The activity was carried out through several stages, namely observation to find out partner problems, preparation, and planning of activities, implementation, and evaluation. The socialization and training activities were attended by 15 community partners (mothers), while for Topa Elementary School students, the community service activity was carried out in the form of socialization and education and was attended by 45 students as participants. This activity has had a positive impact on partners in the form of knowledge and skills about waste management. This result can be seen from the evaluation results 1) Partners (housewives) have been able to manage waste well as indicated by the existence of products produced from household waste management such as organic fertilizer from egg shells and crafts from plastic waste; 2) partners (students of Topa Elementary School) have knowledge about waste management where 84% (38 students) have a good understanding and 16% (7 students) also show a fairly good understanding, especially in terms of sorting waste according to type and the impact of waste management. Based on the evaluation results, it was concluded that the implementation of community service activities went well and smoothly in accordance with the objectives that had been set.

Abstract

Balai Batu Sandaran Village, which is included in the administrative area of Barangin District, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra, is one of the centers for citronella oil production in West Sumatra. In this village, a citronella oil refining industry has been established. The establishment of a citronella oil refining industry is one way that can be done so that existing citronella can be processed into essential oils. Mekar Wangi is one of the SMEs that uses essential oils as an additional ingredient in the household cleaning products they produce. The obstacles faced by Mekar Wangi in developing their business are the absence of PIRT, inadequate packaging, and difficulty in marketing. It only operates when there is an order. Through this activity, it is expected that Mekar Wangi will understand techniques to make attractive packaging and labeling so that they can be made later for the products they produce and provide understanding to the public that digital marketing needs to be done in promoting their business. The method of implementing this activity is carried out by giving technical demonstrations of making essential oil derivative products, labeling, product packaging, and digital marketing and providing entrepreneurial motivation so that they are able to compete and provide added value for the Mekar Wangi.

Abstract

The competency of creative thinking for students is very important in the era of global competition because of the level of complexity. This is because creative thinking skills are included in the six competencies that must be possessed in competition in the 21st century. This is because creative thinking skills are included in the six competencies that must be possessed in facing competition in the 21st century. Project-based learning is one method that can be used to train and improve students' creative thinking skills. This research aims to analyze students' critical thinking abilities through a project-based learning model in environmental knowledge courses. The method used in this research is descriptive. The research subjects consisted of 38 participants. The instrument used in this research is an essay test, and four indicators of creative thinking skills are considered: fluency thinking, flexible thinking, original thinking, and elaboration ability. The data analysis technique used is descriptive. The research results show that students' creative thinking abilities in environmental knowledge courses are in the high (creative) category, with a total score for all indicators is 74,75. It indicates that project-based learning is an effective strategy adapted to train and improve students' creative thinking abilities. Project-based learning is an innovative student-centered learning method where students can work autonomously to construct their learning. This is thought to cause students' creative thinking ability scores in environmental knowledge courses to be in the high category.

Abstract

Processed food with an attractive appearance which is often sold by traders in the school environment is a special attraction for students to consume, including at SD Negeri 1 Bandar Batauga.  The large number of cases of health problems such as poisoning due to children consuming food and snacks sold in the area around the school without knowing whether the food is good for consumption or not is the basis for this activity to be carried out.  The service activity aims to educate elementary school-age children about healthy and nutritious food and snacks for consumption in the form of education which consists of four stages, namely observation, implementation of activities (education), evaluation, and reporting of activity results.  This activity took place at SD Negeri 1 Bandar Batauga and was attended by 22 students.  Service activities in the form of education have a positive influence on students' understanding and knowledge about healthy and nutritious food preparations. This is based on the results of activity evaluations which show that 81% of participants are in the good category (understand), 14% are in the sufficient category (somewhat understand) and 5 % are categorized as lacking (lack of understanding).  Overall, service activities run in accordance with the stated objectives.
