Abstract

This research is entitled "The Application of Administrative Ethics in Improving the Quality of Public Services at the Tamalanrea District Office, Makassar City". The focus of this research is to evaluate the application of administrative ethics in public services, which includes aspects of equality, justice, loyalty, and responsibility, in order to improve the quality of services to the community. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving five informants consisting of sub-district heads, structural officials, and the community. The results of the study show that the application of administrative ethics in the aspects of equality and justice is quite good, reflected in services that refer to SOPs and the absence of discrimination in services to a pluralistic society. The aspect of loyalty is also quite good, although it was found that some employees still face disciplinary obstacles. In terms of responsibility, employees are able to provide fast and appropriate services according to the needs of the community. These findings contribute to the development of public administration ethics, especially in improving the quality of service at the sub-district level as the spearhead of the government.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at SMP N 1 Wonosari and what factors support the effectiveness of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at SMP N 1 Wonosari. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari, whose address is Purbosari, Wonosari, Kec. Wonosari, Gunungkidul Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, the data used consists of two sources, namely primary data and secondary data. Determining informants was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The data collection techniques that researchers use are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research are that the implementation of P5 at SMP N 1 Wonosari has been running effectively. Several indicators such as understanding the program, accuracy of targets, timeliness, achievement of goals, and real changes in students showed positive results. However, there were obstacles related to the implementation of socialization at the beginning of the school year which was not followed by all teachers which resulted in the need for further coordination between teachers so that implementation P5 can be well coordinated. P5 succeeded in strengthening student character according to the Pancasila profile, such as increasing student independence, cooperation, and creativity. Strong leadership factors, well-managed resources, and active involvement of stakeholders also support the smooth running of the program so that the entire P5 program at SMP N 1 Wonosari has a positive impact on the formation of student character.

Abstract

Indonesia's Women's Cooperative (KOPWAN) plays a vital role in empowering women through ultra-micro financing solutions. However, KOPWAN faces significant sustainability challenges, particularly competition with unregistered online loans. While KOPWAN provides more affordable financing access and skill training programs, limitations in capital and a lack of technological understanding among members represent weaknesses that need to be addressed. Conversely, there are opportunities for collaboration with formal financial institutions and government support for cooperatives that can enhance KOPWAN's capacity. The threats posed by intense competition and the risk of loan defaults must also be considered. By leveraging existing strengths and opportunities while addressing weaknesses and threats, KOPWAN can continue to contribute to women's empowerment and improve economic welfare in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the sustainability challenges faced by KOPWAN and provide strategic recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of women's empowerment programs in the future.

Abstract

This study was inspired by the phenomenon of low teacher performance which is reflected in the low ability to meet predetermined standards. This study aims to analyse and determine: a) the effect of pedagogical competence on teacher performance; b) the effect of achievement motivation on teacher performance; c) the effect of pedagogical competence and achievement motivation on teacher performance in Pontianak City. The problem in this study is the low level of teacher pedagogic competence and the low level of teacher achievement motivation that affects the performance of a teacher and has an impact on students in the learning process. The research approach used is quantitative research with survey method. The type of data consists of primary and secondary data, data collection tools using questionnaires distributed to respondents who are taken proportionally. Data is processed using parametric statistics. Hypothesis testing using the R test, T test and F test. The results of data processing and analysis show that pedagogical competence and achievement motivation both partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher performance. The conclusion is that pedagogical competence and achievement motivation have a significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Service quality is the main benchmark in the success of a public service. Posyandu is one of the public service providers for the community. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the services of posyandu cadres in providing services to the community, to find out the achievement of the results of cadre services compared to the expectations of the community regarding information literacy, parenting and professionalism of cadres. This study uses the SERVQUAL method where in this method objects are measured using dimensions such as tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The object of this study is the cadres of posyandu in Gunung Guruh District as many as 74 posyandu spread across 5 villages. The total population in this study is 4,395 mothers of infants/toddlers and pregnant women with a sample of 97 mothers of babies/toddlers and pregnant women. The results of the study showed that from the five dimensions of service, there was a gap between perception and average expectations of -0.299 with an average percentage of perception achievement of 93.24%. The lowest percentage is found in the physical evidence dimension (tangible) with a perception achievement of 85.65 with a gap of -0.631, in this physical evidence dimension shows several indicators that must be improved. Meanwhile, the achievement of perception of the other four dimensions is above 90%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of a problem found during the pre-survey, namely the lack of publications regarding Perumda ASM so that there are still people who do not understand about Perumda ASM, lack of public knowledge about the function of Perumda ASM in increasing the development of Sukabumi Regency, the extent of Sukabumi Regency land that has the potential to its natural resources cannot be managed, making Perumda ASM unable to work on it as a whole. The role of Perumda ASM in increasing development in Sukabumi Regency has not been effective because it has just been established, so there is no conformity in the amount of income, the timeliness of income is not appropriate because Perumda ASM has just started operating, and the quality of resources management human resources are not optimal. These problems can be seen from the theory used, namely Hidayat's theory with 3 research dimensions, namely quality, quantity, and time. Effectiveness is a measurement of success in achieving the goals that have been set. So the purpose of this research is to find out how far the Effectiveness of Perumda Agro Sukabumi Mandiri has been achieved in Development Efforts in Sukabumi Regency. The approach used by researchers is qualitative with descriptive methods, data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and documentation and applying triangulation techniques. Then data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The informants in this study amounted to 6 people, using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. The informants were the Main Director of Perumda Agro Sukabumi Mandiri, Head of General Affairs and Personnel Division, Head of Planning and Evaluation Division, Planning and Evaluation Staff, Agribusiness Actors, and the Community. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of Perumda Agro Sukabumi Mandiri in development efforts in Sukabumi Regency has not gone well. This can be seen from the quality of the potential and the community's understanding of the role of Perumda ASM which is not yet good, the quantity of targets for achievement and the suitability of the amount of income is not appropriate, the timeliness of income and reporting is not correct. The conclusion of this study is that because the indicators of each are not appropriate, the effectiveness of Perumda Agro Sukabumi Mandiri in development efforts in Sukabumi district has not been achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of land and building tax (PBB) collection in Sukalarang Village, Sukalarang Sub-district, Sukabumi District. The effectiveness of tax collection is analyzed based on three main aspects according to the theory of Zaidan Nawawi (2012), namely individual effectiveness, group effectiveness, and organizational effectiveness. This research used descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of tax collection officers, village officials, and taxpayers who were selected using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques.The results showed that the effectiveness of PBB collection in Sukalarang Village still faces obstacles in various aspects. In the aspect of individual effectiveness, taxpayer awareness is still low, while tax officers' understanding of collection procedures still needs to be improved. In terms of group effectiveness, coordination between the village government and tax officials is not optimal, and socialization to the community is still limited. While in the aspect of organizational effectiveness, the PBB collection policy is quite good, but its implementation still needs to be improved through the use of technology and increasing the capacity of tax officers.The main factors affecting the effectiveness of PBB collection in Sukalarang Village include low taxpayer awareness, lack of socialization from the village government, limited tax collection personnel, and lack of technology utilization in the tax payment system. To improve the effectiveness of PBB collection, strategies are needed such as increasing education to the community, optimizing tax policies, utilizing online payment technology, and providing incentives for compliant taxpayers. With improvements in the tax collection system, it is expected that PBB revenue can increase, thus supporting sustainable development and community welfare.

Abstract

This research discusses the effectiveness of collaboration between the Village Government and the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in an effort to improve infrastructure development in Patas I Village, Gunung Bintang Awai Sub-district, South Barito Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to provide a factual and accurate picture of the effectiveness of the collaboration. Data were obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation with purposive sampling techniques, involving the Village Head, Deputy BPD, and the local community as the main informants.The results show that the effectiveness of collaboration between the Village Government and BPD in village infrastructure development is strongly influenced by several factors, such as timeliness, cost calculation, measurement, and determination of development goals and objectives. The main supporting factors in this collaboration include good communication between the village government and BPD, active community involvement, and the availability of sufficient funds. However, this study also identified several inhibiting factors, such as budget limitations, lack of competent human resources, and administrative constraints.Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that the village government and BPD improve synergy through more careful planning, budget transparency, and increased human resource capacity in village infrastructure development management. Thus, village development can run more effectively and provide maximum benefits to the community.

Abstract

The increasingly globalised development of science and technology represents a challenge in the digital era. The role of technology is expanding rapidly to support the learning process. It is therefore vital for education leaders to adapt to this changing landscape, adopt a leadership style that embraces technological innovation, and facilitate its effective integration into educational practices. This study aims to determine the principal's leadership style applied in the digital era in elementary schools. The study adopts a survey research design. The research was conducted from January to June 2024. The study's participants comprised class teachers and/or subject teachers, drawn from a population of elementary schools in Laren District, Lamongan, East Java. The research sample was obtained through the implementation of a simple random sampling technique, with a total of five elementary schools in Laren District, Lamongan, East Java, constituting the study's sample. Data collection techniques employed included the administration of questionnaires and guidelines. The data collection instrument employed was a questionnaire of a closed nature. The research data underwent a dual-stage analysis:Initially, a data validity test was conducted utilising the Person Product Moment correlation formula.Subsequently, a reliability test was performed employing the Cronbach Alpha formula. The statistical analysis of the score data was conducted using the software program Microsoft Excel. The results indicated that the principal's leadership style in addressing the challenges of the digital era can be categorised into five distinct styles: 1) transformational style with a percentage of 88.33%; 2) delegative style with a percentage of 87.78%; 3) transactional style with a percentage of 87.50%; 4) democratic style with a percentage of 86.25%; and 5) authoritarian style with a percentage of 85.17%. Of the five principal leadership styles, the most widely used and in accordance with the digitalization era is the transformational style, which demonstrates very strong criteria. The findings of this study are anticipated to furnish information that will inform policies on the utilisation of technology in the management of institutions at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how the development strategy of Pulutan Tourism Village towards an independent tourism village in Gunungkidul Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The Pulutan Village Valley object is still the main attraction and a leading tourist attraction in Pulutan Village. The many local potentials owned by the tourist village have not been able to attract tourists to stay for a long time in Pulutan Village. Through SWOT analysis, various components of Pulutan Tourism Village can be seen, which can be developed into an independent or sustainable tourist village. The components of the tourist village include the tourist attractions offered, accessibility that is quite supportive of tourists, and adequate amenities. Starting from the opening of the tourist attraction until December 2024, the Pulutan Village Valley has been recorded as having attracted 519,781 tourists. Responding to this positive trend, in 2024 the Pulutan Village Government together with the Pulutan Maju Mandiri Village BUM will optimize the focus of development of both road infrastructure and Lembah Desa facilities in order to increase the comfort and attractiveness of tourists. The final stage, through the formulation of the SWOT matrix analysis, can be carried out the development of Pulutan Tourism Village towards an independent tourism village, which is expected to have an impact on increasing the economic resilience of the local community. Efforts that can be made are to adopt the preparation of a sustainable tourism village development strategy using PESTEL Analysis to realize the development of Pulutan Tourism Village towards an independent tourism village in Gunungkidul Regency.
