Asas wa Tandhim: Jurnal Hukum, Pendidikan, dan Sosial Keagamaan (AwTJHPSA) is a peer-reviewed, open access scholarly journal published by Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta. Abstract

In this article, it can be seen through a literature review that peer-to-peer relationships are often associated with adolescent life. Students as academics are mostly still in that range, especially at the undergraduate level. They are the ones who are vulnerable to national turmoil that triggers violent behavior. They require intense interaction with the same age group in responding to existing changes and developments.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the reasons for candidates and judges' considerations in permitting polygamous marriages at the KUA, Playen District, Gunungkidul Regency in 2012-2015. In this rural area, polygamous marriages are quite large. Sociological juridical research is carried out with a qualitative approach. Information collection was carried out by searching polygamy decision documents in the KUA of Playen District in 2012-2015 accompanied by interviews with KUA officials at the research location. Based on the content analysis, it has been found that there are two types of reasons considered by the judges in determining the permit for polygamous marriages. Suggestions for tightening administrative requirements and the intensity of socialization of polygamous marriages can be carried out by KUA so that marriage registration can run well without harming all parties.

Abstract

This study investigates the need for sustainable waste management in the Malioboro area of Yogyakarta city. Because the accuracy of perspective, approach, program choice, and technical implementation as well as support capacity in the field that has not been maximized, management needs to be reviewed. There are only 6 cleaning staff prepared by UPT Malioboro with limited working time. In this research, the method used is descriptive quantitative rationalistic method. The rationalistic approach is the process of testing the truth not only through sensual empiricism (measured by the senses) but continued through the meaning of sensual empiricism, logical empiricism (thinking) and mental empiricism (ethics). Sensual empirical, empirical logic, and empirical ethics and based on theoretical basis are used to extract data, interpret behavior, perform data analysis, present findings and discuss (meaning the findings).

Abstract

Classroom action research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of PAI and BP on the material of honest attitude and behavior that has not yet reached the KKM. Attempts to solve the problem using the WhatsApp Voice note application. The type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were 17 students. The data collection technique used observation, test and documentation techniques. Validation of data using triangulation technique. The data analysis method used qualitative data analysis. The results showed an increase in student motivation from 9 students (52.94%), increased to 12 students (70.59%), and in the second cycle there were 16 students (94.12%), student learning outcomes data from 4 students (23 ,53%), increased to 9 students (52,94%), and in the second cycle there were 15 students (88,24%). The average learning outcomes also increased by 63.53 to 74.12 and 84.71. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the use of the WhatsApp Voice note application can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN 173105 Tarutung Semester 1 of the 2021/2022 Academic Year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the tendency of people who have experienced apathy, individualism, and have lost their social sensitivity. Society is trapped in an attitude of prioritizing personal desires and disregarding the interests of others so that contemporary problems are born in today's society. Every individual should not only be concerned with the benefit of himself, while he mentions the problems that exist in his environment. This study will examine the terms of the Qur'an which are related to social intelligence. In this research, we will present a random interpretation of several verses of the Qur'an that are relevant to the theme of the discussion. The method used in this research is literature study with a thematic interpretation approach. The results of this study will reveal verses in the al-Qur'an that are relevant and related to social intelligence.

Abstract

This research was carried out from July to December 2019 at SD Negeri 1 Sumbergirang with the source of the data being the review of informants and the results of observations. Data validation was carried out through data triangulation and review of informants with data analysis carried out on the results of observation data, data analysis and analysis of interview results. This study consisted of two cycles, each of which consisted of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results showed that the teacher's ability to manage learning could be improved by applying a direct instruction approach. Principals in carrying out their duties have a direct interest in teachers, especially in fostering and developing teacher skills and knowledge related to the development of learning management. The application of the DIA approach is proven to be able to improve teacher performance, especially in managing learning, namely the level of professional ability of teachers in the pre-cycle from 63.95% to 82.99% at the end of the second cycle, meaning an increase of around 19.04%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was focused on deepening independent character learning through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the Garawiksa Student Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta (PMGY). Such research has had a great impact on the consistency of PAI in pesantren while still following the initial goal of the pesantren institution in educating its students to be able to live independently which is beneficial for the surrounding community. Through qualitative research with a case study pattern, it can be concluded that independence education at PMGY is directed at its basic values ​​with the dimensions of developing the spirituality, intellectuality and professionalism of the students. Such PAI was then supported by inculcating the values ​​of togetherness and simplicity through pesantren policies. The figure of a democratic caregiver/kyai with an interaction pattern that prioritizes a cultural approach has offered pesantren programs that can explore the full potential and uniqueness of each student so that they are accustomed to solving problems independently.
