Kalangwan Jurnal Pendidikan Agama, Bahasa dan Sastra merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang memiliki misi memperluas kajian bidang bahasa dan sastra daerah sebagai referensi dalam mewujudkan pendidikan bahasa dan sastra daerah sebagai bagian dari kekayaan budaya lokal Nusantara. Penguatan pendidikan bahasa dan sastra daerah penting untuk dioptimalkan, tidak hanya di lingkungan keluarga maupun pendidikan formal saja, tetapi juga melalui kajian-kajian ilmiah hasil penelitian maupun hasil pemikiran yang mengacu pada kaidah-kaidah ilmiah. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjadikan pendidikan bahasa dan sastra daerah sebagai landasan dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang bermartabat, cerdas, humanis dan berwawasan multikultural.

<![CDATA[Literature and culture have the same object that is a human being which existed in a community as a social fact and as a cultural creature. They have a special place in a society due to their close relationship. The figure can be found on a various art creations in Bali such as painting, sculpture and traditional song. Meanwhile, the government promotes family planning as a program to the citizen. The problems discussed on this research is how the relation between geguritan Brayut and social and cultural of the Balinese. The methodology of this study is a qualitative research through non-interactive research by analyzing a textual research which is not related to the community on its organic environment. The research approach used in this study is thematic philosophy. The theory applied in this research are theory of deconstruction and semiotic. The result of this research shows that the relation between Geguritan Brayut with social and culture of Balinese community can be seen on their marriage concept according to Hindu belief, family prosperity, child nurture, the genetic system (matrilineal and patrilineal).]]>

<![CDATA[Lontar Kala-Purana merupakan sebuah geguat atau dasar yang jelas (indik-indik) yang dipergunakan masyarakat Bali untuk melakukan panglukatan pada setiap orang yang terlahir pada saniscara (sabtu) wara Wayang. Ini merupakan satu bentuk refleksi yang secara nyata merupakan perpaduan antara tattwa, etika, upacara secara simultan dan dibungkus dengan budaya Bali. Jika berbicara masalah tattwa, maka narasi Kala-Tattwa sudah memberikan penjabaran bagaimana Bhatara Kala, yang merupakan personifikasi dari sebuah kekuatan (energi) penghancur merupakan sebuah hal yang badai. Bahkan dalam beberapa kitab mantra samhita, Upanisad, maka “Kala” merupakan menghancur yang agung. Sebab waktu, adalah kekal dan yang menghancurkan. Kitab Bhagavadgita sendiri menyatakan bahwa diantara yang menghancurkan, tidak ada yang lebih baik selain “Kala” (waktu) itu sendiri.]]>

<![CDATA[Bhasma Mantra was delivered by Bhatara to Bhatari. This narrative seems very different from the early part of the text of Bhūwana Kosha. Bhasma Mantra is chapter VII of the XI chapter contained in Bhūwana Kosha. Chapter VII consists of 30 slokas. Bhasma Mantra is one part of the text of Bhūwana Kosha which explains the subject of bhasma [ashes]. The intended ash is Ongkara as a result of burning Brahma mantra into the Fire of Dampati. The Dampati fire is composed of two pairs namely the Ongkara [Purusha] and Ukara [Pradhana]. Bhasma Mantra itself is the body of Shiva. This teaching was delivered by Shiva to Uma. The practice can be found in worship rituals performed by Pandhita or sadhaka. The notion of bhasma does not only stop at ashes. Bhasma in the next stage is divided into two senses, namely sakala bhasma and niskala bhasma. Bhasma Sakala is the body, while bhasma niskala is jñāna.]]>

<![CDATA[Short story is one of literature in the form of prose. Short story is a work that is built through various intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements. Element element of the short story will build a short story in totality and is artistic. Short stories have intrinsic and extrinsic elements, intrinsic element is the element of the story builder that comes from within the short story itself. If likened to a building, then the intrinsic element is the components of the building. The intrinsic elements are themes, plot, figure, background, point of view and mandate. In addition to intrinsic elements also analyze the social value in this story which contains social problems such as poverty, faded empathy and so forth. As for the benefits of peeling a short story is very diverse, from the first did not know to know, who did not understand to understand, analyze / peel thoroughly a short story is very useful for writers and readers. Writers and readers will very easily understand the contents contained in a short story, especially for people who like to short stories.]]>

This study examines the intrinsic contained in the short story of Bali language entitled “umah” generally have opinions and different interpretation of a short story. The intrinsic element is all the outside elements that underlies and creation of literary works. The method used in this research descriptive research using descriptive research method. Method is a methodthe status of a human group, an object, a set of conditions, a system ofthought, or a classof events in the present. <![CDATA[Abstract Bali has a complex language structure and the classification of the language used by its speakers is called Sor Singgih Basa Bali. This is a challenge and uniqueness for Balinese speakers when applying it in a literary work or in everyday life. There are various modern literary works that continue to be developed, one of which is the modern Balinese short story. In this study, a descriptive-qualitative semantic analysis of the short story Berung Kapanteg Ngaad by Anak Agung Gede Wiraputra will be discussed. Sources of data or written data obtained from the short story Berung Kapanteg Ngaad and supporting data from various other sources. The results showed that the meaning contained in the short story of Berung Kapanteg Ngaad is lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, and figurative meaning. These meanings reflect the situation of Balinese people as speakers of Balinese regional languages which have language complexity and classification. So that it has a variety of languages and reflects the uniqueness of the culture behind the phenomenon of society, which is clearly stated by the author in a literary work, namely modern Balinese short stories. <![CDATA[Analysis of writing errors in The Latin Balinese language is very important to do, especially for writings uploaded on digital media such as the Balinese Language Extension Fanpage of Bangli Regency which can be easily accessed and disseminated. This study examined the form of Latin Balinese language errors on the Balinese Language Extension Fanpage of Bangli Regency; Factors that caused the occurrence of Latin Balinese language errors on the Balinese Language Extension Fanpage of Bangli Regency; and efforts that can be made to minimize the occurrence of Writing errors in Balinese Latin on the Fanpage of Balinese Language Extension Workers of Bangli Regency. The theories used in this study are the theory of language error analysis and the theory of motivation. This type of research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study used interview techniques and document studies. The collected data is analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and then drawing conclusions. The results showed: (1) The form of Latin Balinese language errors on the Fanpage of the Balinese Language Extension Officer of Bangli Regency, namely: (a) Capital letter writing errors, (b) Letter writing errors, (c) Preposition writing errors, (d) Pronoun writing errors, (e) Italic writing errors, (f) Punctuation errors. (2) Factors causing errors in Latin Balinese, namely: (a) Mistake factors,(b) Error factors (human error and technological errors). (3) Efforts to minimize errors in the writing of Balinese Latin, namely: (1) Efforts to minimize human error, (2) Efforts to minimize technological errors.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of the Balinese language is very important to do. That the Balinese language remains sustainable and is not abandoned by the speaking community. However, the industrial era 4.0 with various impacts, ranging from negative and positive impacts, often raises concerns about the sustainability of the Balinese language with a shift in the use and love of language from regional languages to foreign languages. If you hear the word challenge, people often think of it as something scary, but in the rapid progress of the times, people must be able to accept the changes that exist and be able to turn these challenges into opportunities in maintaining the existence of the Balinese language. This study discusses turning challenges into opportunities in maintaining the existence of the Balinese language in the 4.0 era. The method used is a literature study conducted by collecting data from the library. These data come from various scientific articles that are relevant to the problems raised in this research. The articles come from national journals to proceedings from 2018-2022. This study uses a narrative review which includes reviewing the spectrum written according to the research topic. The results show that the challenges in the industrial era 4.0 can be turned into an opportunity in maintaining the existence of the Balinese language by being balanced with the readiness of the community to accept the development of information technology in an open and adaptive manner. The industrial era 4.0 can actually make it easier for people to maintain the existence of the Balinese language, namely as a means of promoting Balinese culture and language effectively and efficiently by utilizing social networks.]]>

<![CDATA[Assessment is a very important part of learning. Assessment can be done in the form of pre-learning (diagnostics) and learning outcomes to monitor the process, progress and development of learning outcomes, as well as feedback for teachers to improve learning planning. Balinese language learning, especially in the Kurikulum Merdeka, uses diagnostic tests, formative tests, and summative tests. Diagnostic tests or pre-learning tests are related to mapping the learning styles, interests, and prior knowledge of students so that teachers can carry out differentiated learning according to the needs of students. Optimizing diagnostic tests using IT is very important to do in order to improve the quality of Balinese language learning so that it fits the needs of students and the time spent in learning also effectively.]]>
