Abstract

This study has two objectives, namely to describe stylistics and semiotics in the lyrics of the song entitled "Angkihan Baan Nyilih". This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The literary approach used is a mythical approach and is combined with a mimetic approach. Data collection uses the document recording method. The data processing method is a descriptive method with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the stylistic elements contained in the lyrics of the song "Angkihan baan Nyilih" are phonemes/sounds, diction, syntactic forms, discourse and stanzas, language styles and imagery. The element of semiotics in the lyrics of the song "Angkihan baan Nyilih" is using the Semiotics theory of Ferdinand De Saussure, namely the existence of markers and signifieds.

Abstract

Abstract Translating is one of the pinnacles of IGB Sugriwa's skills which are now increasingly rare. Therefore, this article aims to discuss two things,: (1) tracing the translated works produced by IGB Sugriwa; (2) the translation model developed by IGB Sugriwa in the Kakawin Rāmatantra. To achieve this goal, this article uses the methods of providing data, analyzing data, and presenting the results of the analysis. At the stage of providing data, observation and interview methods were used to find the translated works of IGB Sugriwa. Furthermore, IGB Sugriwa's translations were classified according to genre and Kakawin Rāmatantra was analyzed to find the translation model developed by IGB Sugriwa. Based on this analysis, this article finds that IGB Sugriwa has translated 13 literary works. Translated works are included in literature such as Kakawin Dharma Shunya (1954), Kakawin Sutasoma (1956), Bharata Yuddha (1958), Kakawin Ramayana (1960), Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha (1961) and Kakawin Rāmatantra (t.t). Meanwhile, the translation works included in the speech are Sang Hyang Kamahayanikan (1957) and Sarasamuccaya (1967). Meanwhile, IGB Sugriwa was also quite productive in translating texts related to traditional Balinese historiography across clans such as the Babad Pasek (1957), Babad Blahbatuh (1958), Dwijendra Tattwa (1967), Babad Pasek Kayu Selem (tt), and the Pande Inscription. (tt). The translation model developed by IGB Sugriwa in the Kakawin Rāmatantra is formulated into four stages, namely (1) kosabasa (vocabulary); (2) kretabasa (grammar), (3) bhasita paribhasa (language style); and bhasita mandala (cultural context.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and determine (1) the dynamics of social relations between the Hindu and Islamic communities in Seraya-Bukit Village, Karangasem, (2) the views of the Hindu and Islamic communities in Seraya-Bukit Village, Karangasem on the value of menyama braya, and (3) the form of the relationship between menyama braya in social life in Seraya-Bukit Village, Karangasem. This research was carried out in Karangasem by taking samples in Seraya and Bukit villages, areas inhabited by some Hindus and Muslims. This research is categorized as a type of qualitative research, with an empirical approach, which is an approach in which the symptoms to be investigated have existed naturally (real situation). The data in this study were collected by observation or field recording methods, interview methods, and document recording. Data analysis in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model, which in detail describes the data collection, condensation, display and conclusion drawing/verifying. The results of this study are (1) the dynamics of social relations between Hindu and Islamic communities in Seraya-Bukit Village, Karangasem in menyama braya has three reasons that are the basis for continuing to carry out menyama braya in Seraya-Bukit Village, namely historical factors, ideology, and traditions of togetherness. (2) The views of the Hindu and Islamic communities in Seraya-Bukit Village, Kararangasem on the value of Menyama Braya is defined as a social interaction that respects differences in ethnicity, religion and language. Muslims, the teaching of menyama braya is almost the same as the concept of Ukhuwah Islamiyah and Rahmatan Lil Alamin. (3) The form of the Menyama Braya Relationship in Social Life in Seraya-Bukit Village, Karangasem can be explained through several activities as one of the evidences that show this is cultural acculturation between Hindus and Muslims, such as: ngejot, madelokan, mapitulung, magibung, mutual cooperation, use of shared facilities, kebuli, village regulation systems, and use of language. Abstract

Literature is one of Balinese culture that is still relevant to be heard and implemented in today's life. Because in literature it contains an advice and the essence of life that should be done in the current era. Literature can be divided into two, namely traditional and modern literature. Both of these literatures are growing rapidly in the 4.0 era as it is today. Genaman today is a technology that is appropriate to be used to search for and study literary works that are the basis for carrying out social life. In the literature that has been divided into two that we know carefully and have felt in life. However, with the development of a literature, it is appropriate to give a meaning that is in accordance with the developing literature. Literature that is easy to find and learn is modern literature. Modern literature that can be divided into three is the novel, poetry, and poetry. Of the three, which can be given a touch of meaning in poetry. Poetry is a literary work that has a meaning that is stored behind a diction that is the star of the performance in the literary work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the text structure, language tools, and socio-cultural values ​​contained in the BatuPlantolan folklore of the Jereweh community, West Sumbawa Regency and describe the relationship between values socio-cultural story of the BatuPlantolan people of the Jereweh community by learning literature. The data collection in this study used the listening or note-taking method and the conversation or interview method. The results of this study indicate that the BatuPlantolan folklore has a narrative text structure (title, introduction/orientation, problems/complications, problem solving), using tools (repetition/repetition, anaphoric, connecting conjunctions between paragraphs), socio-cultural values ​​(please help, sense of belonging). love parents for their children, empathy). Based on the results of this study, it can be stated that the socio-cultural value of BatuPlantolan folklore has a relationship with literary learning.

Abstract

This study examines the Uttarakāṇḍa text which tells the life of Rawana's family and his three brothers who have different characters. The aim is to obtain a clear picture of personality through the four brothers in Uttarakāṇḍa through the id, ego, and superego in the theory of Literary Psychology. This research is a qualitative literature study, using observation and descriptive methods, and presented with informal methods. Furthermore, Rawana has the desire to marry Sita, looking for a way to seduce Sita to become his wife, Rawana controls his emotions when Sita does not answer his question. Furthermore, the character Kumbakarna has the desire to ask for a gift from the gods in the form of eternal sleep, he worships and obeys the orders of the gods, Kumbakarna also looks for ways to have a place to sleep. Furthermore, Surpanaka's character has the desire to cry because he is sad because his husband died, he looks for a way to complain to Rawana which makes him a widow. After getting an explanation from Rawana, he controlled the emotions he felt over the death of his lover. Furthermore, Wibhisana desired to ask for a gift from the gods in the form of the glory of knowledge, so he worshiped and obeyed the orders of the gods. When there was a meeting with Rama, Wibhisana took Rama's orders to leave the meeting place and go to Lengka.

Abstract

Short story is a type of literary work that belongs to modern Balinese literature. In the short story there are forming and building elements both coming from within the short story and those coming from outside the short story itself. The forming and building elements are called intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements. In this study, the aspects analyzed were intrinsic and extrinsic elements in a short story entitled "Klangen Ati". The purpose of this research is to describe the intrinsic and extrinsic elements in the short story "Klangen Ati" published by I Gede Mardi Yasa. In this study using research methods such as reading techniques, notes, and interviews. The results of this study are to analyze the intrinsic elements which include themes, characters and characterizations, plot, setting, point of view, style of language, and the message in the short story "Klangen Ati", as well as extrinsic elements including the values ​​contained in the short story "Klangen Ati".

Abstract

Self-regulation is a very important part of the whole educational process. This section covers basic education to the most complex. The Śivasutra Text describes aspects of self-regulation education starting from the most basic to the complex level. The basic and simple aspects are related to the habits and processes of human learning in everyday life with worldly nuances. This indicates that the process of religious learning in Hinduism is not too hasty to direct students towards the transcendent dimension. If the learning process has started from simple things then a learner will be able to become a complete human being. Apart from being competent in carrying out their obligations as members of society, they will also be ready to understand more transcendental dimensions. The purpose of this study is to get an overview of the self-regulatory aspects in the Śivasutra text. The method used in this study is a qualitative method because it involves description, analysis, and interpretation of words. The results of this research are that in the Śivasutra texts there are aspects of self-regulation education such as the Sivais-Tantrik style, basic learning, daily learning, wise use of knowledge, wisdom to see the material world, and the peak is awareness of one's True Self.

Abstract

The development of learning media and the announcement of the industrial revolution 4.0 are expected to be published. Related to this, the dynamics of learning may no longer implement conventional methods, especially in the selection of learning media. Learning media in the all-digital era must continue to follow the direction of technological developments. Learning media must be interesting, creative, close and attached to students. The Tik Tok application is present in the midst of society, but in fact young people and even the elderly really enjoy this application. Based on this statement, it can be concluded that if used and mediated properly, this Tik Tok application will become an interesting learning media creative as well as fun. The use of the Tik Tok application as an interactive learning medium is expected to help students understand and accept the learning process carried out by the teacher. Interactive learning media can represent what the teacher has not been able to convey and also in the learning process it will be much more effective and efficient. Through this Tik Tok application, a teacher can easily create interactive learning, so that it can adapt to the environmental situation and conditions of students.

Abstract

Balinese language learning cannot be separated from the existence of Balinese language, literature and script. Learning Balinese script in schools must be applied as interestingly as possible. Writing Balinese script in general can use paper, palm and computer/smartphone media. Especially for Balinese writing material, the learning process must be packaged as interesting as possible. This is done to motivate students to learn to recognize and understand the use of Balinese Script. In this case, writing Balinese Script can be done on a Smartphone using the keyman application. This application is quite easy to use by students at SMA Negeri 3 Amlapura. The use of this application aims to facilitate the learning process of digitizing Balinese characters because in the process everything can be accessed through a Smartphone. The results of the application of the keyman application in learning Balinese script, students responded positively. Students began to understand the development of digitization of the Balinese script. The positive impact obtained is that they are happy to use the application. By using this keyman application, students are easier to learn and apply it in everyday life.
