Abstract

This study examines how sport event tourism and hedonism influence tourists’ visit intention, with electronic word of mouth (eWOM) as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through offline interviews with 100 visitors of the MotoGP Mandalika event and analyzed using PLS-SEM. Results show that sport event tourism and hedonism significantly affect eWOM, while only sport event tourism and eWOM directly influence visit intention. eWOM also mediates both relationships, suggesting that emotional enjoyment and digital engagement transform experiences into behavioral intentions. These findings highlight the strategic importance of enhancing event quality and encouraging online sharing to strengthen destination image and revisit intention in sport tourism contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the determinants of firm value among technology-based startup companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2022. The study employs a quantitative research design, utilizing secondary data obtained from financial statements and annual reports of ten eligible startup firms. The analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression via SPSS. The variables examined include Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA), Company Growth, and Company Size, with Tobin’s Q employed as a proxy for company value. The findings reveal that DER has a statistically significant positive effect on company value (p < 0.01), whereas ROA, company growth, and company size do not show significant influence. The results suggest that the capital structure, particularly debt utilization, plays a critical signaling role for investors in the startup ecosystem, while profitability and firm scale are less predictive of value at this early stage.

Abstract

This study examines civilian experiences during the 2025 Thailand–Cambodia border conflict using a User Experience (UX) approach. Through diary studies and the experience sampling method (ESM), supported by an adapted HEART framework, the research shows that F-16 strikes created anticipatory fear, BM-21 rockets disrupted essential daily activities, and white phosphorus caused long-term trauma and reduced trust in state institutions. The findings highlight that military technology assessment must consider humanitarian impacts and civilian experiences rather than focusing solely on tactical effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of profitability, capital structure, and company size on dividend policy, considering the role of independent board of commissioners as a moderation variable. The object of the study is focused on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. The approach used is quantitative with the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) analysis method, based on 380 observational data from 76 selected companies using purposive sampling techniques. The findings of the study show that profitability has a significant negative impact on dividend policy, but the capital structure does not show a significant influence. On the other hand, the size of the company has a positive and significant effect. The independent board of commissioners does not moderate the influence of profitability or capital structure, but acts as a negative moderator in the relationship between company size and dividend policy.

Abstract

This study analyzes the feasibility of the construction of regular petrol stations in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. The need for development arises due to the increase in the number of vehicles that is not proportional to the availability of fuel infrastructure. A quantitative approach is used through fuel demand analysis, RAB preparation, and economic evaluation with NPV, BCR, and Payback Period. The results show that Semoi Dua Village is strategic because it is on the path to IKN with high population growth. Fuel needs are estimated at ±311,000 liters per week. The project is economically feasible with a positive NPV of IDR 15 billion, a BCR of 1.3, and a payback period of four years. Petrol stations are considered prospective operationally and economically.

Abstract

This study examines how e-Procurement implementation supports cost efficiency, strengthens sharia compliance, and addresses adoption challenges in Indonesian Islamic banks. Using a qualitative case study approach based on regulations, DSN-MUI fatwas, annual reports, and technological practices, the research highlights a conceptual gap in integrating maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah within digital procurement. Findings indicate that procurement digitization lowers transaction costs and enhances sharia compliance through digital hisbah-based audits. The study’s novelty lies in proposing a techno-fiqh integrative model that aligns economic efficiency with maqāṣid principles. Practical implications include recommendations for regulatory refinement, digital sharia auditing, and blockchain-based contract validation.

Abstract

This research investigates the implementation of prophetic leadership model, comprising shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathanah, at Al-Mardliyah Islamic Boarding School in Jombang, and its implications for modern boarding school management and student character development. Through the employment of a qualitative case study methodology, data were procured via a combination of interviews, observational techniques, and documentary analysis. The study's results demonstrate that prophetic values are institutionalized in program planning, participatory implementation, and exemplary supervision, thereby forming an integrated management system. These values are manifested in curriculum development, digital outreach, managerial innovation, and collaboration with external institutions. The application of prophetic leadership has led to a transformation in the students' character, including improved discipline, integrity, communication skills, cultural ethics, and the ability to adapt to changing times. This study concludes that prophetic leadership is a practical, value-based management framework designed to modernize Islamic boarding schools, integrating spirituality and sustainability into their transformation into contemporary educational institutions. Implicitly, this model can be adopted as a strategic approach for other Islamic boarding schools that wish to enhance management quality while developing the holistic character of their students.
