Abstract

This study analyzes and compares the performance of Logistic Regression and Random Forest methods in diabetes prediction. Diabetes is an increasingly common chronic condition. If left untreated, diabetes can cause major problems. Predicting and detecting diabetes early is very important. This study uses a dataset from Kaggle consisting of 9 demographic and clinical variables. The research method includes data collection and pre-processing, model selection, model training, and model evaluation. The results showed that the Random Forest model had 97.0% accuracy and 95.6% precision, which was higher than the Logistic Regression which had 95.9% accuracy and 86.4% precision. Although both models faced challenges in predicting positive classes, Random Forest performed better with a recall of 68.4% and F1-Score of 79.7%, compared to Logistic Regression which had a recall of 61.3% and F1-Score of 71.8%. This study advances our knowledge of how machine learning techniques can be applied to diabetes prediction and helps in the creation of more accurate and productive diagnostic tools for use in clinical settings.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the newest technologies that schools have not yet fully embraced. As a result, there has been wasteful use of energy and inadequate usage of classrooms. The goal of this research is to create and evaluate an IoT system in schools that uses RFID Card and Reader to improve classroom usage and energy efficiency. There are three research methods used which involve running system analysis, proposed system, and prototyping methods. Through reviews of the literature, data was gathered. After then, the data was examined to find issues and system requirements. Additionally, an Internet of Things system design was developed and put to the test via simulation with Cisco Packet Tracer. The Internet of Things automation design was in line with the scenario that the researchers had planned, according to the outcomes of the experiments and simulations. It is established that the system increases classroom productivity while conserving energy. It is anticipated that this system's implementation will assist schools in raising the standard of instruction and fostering a more favorable learning environment.

Abstract

Tempat penitipan anak dikalangan orangtua sangat dibutuhkan untuk menitipkan anaknya ketika tidak sempat mengasuh sendiri, salah satu tempat penitipan anak adalah Hoshiko Daycare and Playhouse yang berada di kota Binjai. Tempat tersebut masih melakukan pendaftaran dan pencatatan laporan keuangan secara manual, dimana akan berpotensi kehilangan data dan perlu memakan waktu lama dalam setiap prosesnya. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu proses tersebut yaitu sistem informasi pendaftaran dan laporan keuangan berbasis web. Tujuan dari pembuatan sistem tersebut adalah untuk memudahkan pihak owner dan customer baik dalam proses pendaftaran maupun laporan keuangan, serta penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dimana penulis melakukan observasi, wawancara dan pengumpulan data. Dengan itu penulis melakukan “Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pendaftaran dan Laporan Keuangan Pada Hoshiko Daycare and Playhouse Binjai”.

Abstract

Toko Simarmata is a business engaged in the business of selling daily necessities. The store has quite a lot of customers who come to buy various kinds of needs ranging from snacks, drinks and household supplies. However, the store is in the process of processing its transactions, such as the preparation of goods data which includes prices, and all sales transactions are still manually recorded in the book. This often causes problems such as the loss of sales data which causes re-recording so that the resulting report is not perfect. Therefore, a web programming system is needed which has the aim of making it easier for Simarmata Shop owners to solve the problems that occur, such as storing data on goods sales transactions, knowing sales reports that occur within a certain time frame, consumers who can order the desired items through the website and payments that can be made non-cash without the need to come directly to the store. The design of this Information System is of course based on using direct observation methods and interviews with shop owners. So as to produce a Sales Information System at a web-based Simarmata Store that suits the needs of the store.

Abstract

A website is now a destination for crucial information in the contemporary digital era. Among the necessary educational resources for any school or institution are libraries. Because knowledge and information can be readily found by students at the library. People believe that as technology advances, they can operate more productively and successfully. Converting an analog system to an electronic one is one of them. By using the website Libraries that have internet access can operate more effectively and efficiently in carrying out bookkeeping. In this research, a web-based information system was designed using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language. The linear sequential research method was chosen because it is very suitable for projects with clear needs and limited resources and time. By creating It is hoped that this approach will be able to solve a number of issues. the need to look for books and facilitate the distribution of book loans and report writing for the school administration. Based on the findings of the conducted research, the author incorporated the study's findings into the creation of an online library information system SMKN 5 Pekanbaru library.

Abstract

The design of the Drug Inventory Information System at Asima Pharmacy aims to improve efficiency and accuracy in managing drug stock. This system is designed to facilitate drug data management, real-time stock monitoring, and fast and accurate reporting. This study uses a software development methodology that includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of this study are a web-based information system that allows pharmacy managers to access inventory data easily and quickly, reduce the risk of shortages or excess stock, and speed up the drug reporting process. This system is expected to improve the quality of service at Asima Pharmacy by providing accurate and up-to-date information on drug inventory.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages various sectors, including education, to adopt more efficient information systems. This study aims to design and implement a web-based e-library information system at SMK Negeri 9. This system is designed to facilitate the management and access of library collections, both for students and school staff. The methodology used includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of this study indicate that a web-based e-library can improve the efficiency of library management and facilitate access to information for users. This system is also equipped with book search, borrowing, returning, and member management features. It is hoped that with this e-library, it can support the teaching and learning process at SMK Negeri 9 to be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Currently, there are still many corporate agencies that do not use computerized systems, the same goes for PT. Damai Alam Sejahtera Lobu Siregar, Siborong-borong District. Financial System at PT. The existing Peace of Alam Sejahtera Lobu Sigerar is no longer in accordance with current developments, so it is still not well structured. Especially for financial systems, in this system what is processed is income, expenditure and report data. Systems can be defined in two groups of approaches, the first system approach places more emphasis on procedures, the second system approach places more emphasis on elements or components. The problem currently occurring is the slow processing of data, the reports produced must go through unstructured data collection. In the information system to fulfill this task, we will explain how to design a web-based financial information system. In designing this system, Entity Relational Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams are used, while data collection uses observation, interviews, and literature studies. This website was created using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. It is hoped that this application system will further help Admin performance in PT finance. Peace Alam Sejahtera Lobu Siregar has become more effective and efficient.

Abstract

The trade system can be impacted directly or indirectly by today's rapid technological advancement. We currently only have access to e-commerce via the Internet, which allows us to select the items we want, learn more about them, and conduct business with anyone, regardless of distance or time. If Nasyrul Ilmi bookstore wants to improve the quality and efficiency of its book sales services, it needs to implement information technology. In this context, the author creates a sales information system that is hosted on a website in order to improve the store's operations and broaden its market reach. The goal of this study is to create a bookstore-specific sales information system that is both efficient and useful. Through needs investigation, natural UI configuration, organized data set advancement, and site-based framework execution, these objectives can be accomplished. Customers can buy books online via the store's website thanks to the sales information system. It also helps the store owner manage inventory, process orders, analyze sales, and track shipments. It is anticipated that Nasyrul Ilmi Bookstore will be able to enhance customer service quality, increase market reach, and increase operational efficiency by implementing this system. In addition, the store has a competitive advantage thanks to this system in the digital era's increasingly competitive book sales market.

Abstract

Largura AM Store is a fashion store with a large customer base that operates through offline sales, making it challenging to reach a broader market. This research aims to analyze, design, and develop a web-based sales information system for Largura AM Store using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with a Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach, which includes requirements planning, prototyping, testing, refining, development, and implementation. This technological advancement not only simplifies store management but also enhances the customer experience by facilitating product selection, payment, and tracking of shipment status. Using the RAD method, this research focuses on developing a website using Laravel as the framework for sales transactions. This study indicates that adopting a web-based sales information system can potentially improve store management effectiveness and the overall transaction process. The system development results were tested using black-box testing with questionnaires as the evaluation model. In conclusion, this system serves as an effective solution to optimize store operations and expand the reach to new customers and consumers.
