Abstract

This study examines the legal protection framework for contract lecturers in Indonesia by analyzing the structural inconsistencies between labor law regulations and higher education norms and their implementation within universities. Although Law No. 13 of 2003 as amended by Law No. 11 of 2020 and Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021 restrict fixed-term employment contracts (PKWT) to temporary work, universities continue to apply repeated contracts to lecturers whose duties are permanent and integral to the Tridharma of Higher Education. This practice creates legal uncertainty, particularly following Constitutional Court Decision No. 37/PUU-XXI/2023. Furthermore, despite statutory guarantees under Law No. 14 of 2005 and Law No. 12 of 2012, contract lecturers frequently experience discrimination in remuneration, social security, and career advancement. This study concludes that long-serving contract lecturers substantively qualify as permanent employees (PKWTT), necessitating status conversion to ensure justice, legal certainty, and constitutional compliance.

Abstract

The term victimology comes from the words victim and logos (science), in Latin victimology, derived from the word victima which means victim and logos which means science. In terminology, victimology means a study of victims, the causes of victims and the consequences of victims who are human problems as a social reality. Crime typology can be viewed from two dimensions, first: from the perspective of the level of victim involvement in the occurrence of crime, second: the factors that cause a person to become a victim of crime. The suffering experienced by victims includes violence to the body and life, loss of property, and psychological disruption due to the actions of the perpetrator of the crime. In certain cases, victims can be categorized as perpetrators of crime. Victims and the role of victimology in criminal offenses have legal protection, especially rape, being one of the main focuses. Although relations such as human rights laws have affirmed the right to restitution for victims, the implementation is still not optimal in depth regarding the fulfillment of restitution rights, as well as identifying factors that cause rape. The victim factor plays an important role in being able to overcome or resolve this rape case, this requires courage from the victim to report the incident to the police.

Abstract

ST37 low-carbon steel is widely used in construction and decorative applications such as house window grilles due to its good mechanical properties, ease of fabrication, and cost-effectiveness. However, this material has a major drawback in the form of low corrosion resistance, especially in open environments that are humid and contain chloride ions. One effort to improve the corrosion resistance of ST37 steel is through the chromium electroplating process. This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in chromium plating time on coating thickness and the corrosion rate of ST37 steel. The electroplating process was carried out using a chromium-based electrolyte solution with a constant voltage of 12 volts and plating time variations of 25, 35, and 45 minutes. The coating thickness was measured using a thickness gauge, while the corrosion rate testing was conducted using the Linear Polarization Resistance (LPR) method in accordance with ASTM G59 standards. The parameters analyzed included mass loss, polarization resistance, and corrosion rate in mm/year. The results showed that variations in plating time affect the coating thickness and corrosion rate of ST37 steel. The coating with a plating time of 35 minutes produced the lowest corrosion rate of 0.0099 mm/year, indicating higher corrosion resistance compared to the 25- and 45-minute variations. The 25-minute plating provided moderate protection, while the 45-minute plating showed a tendency toward increased corrosion rate due to the possible formation of micro-defects in the coating.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Buccheri store located in Medan Mall, Jalan M.T. Haryono No. 8. The study was carried out from November 2025 to January 2026. The types of data used in this research consisted of primary and secondary data, with a total sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was the Slovin method. To analyze variable X, the researcher distributed questionnaires to Buccheri product consumers using the accidental sampling method, conducted interviews with Buccheri management, and utilized SPSS software to test the validity and reliability of the questions and answers in this study. Based on the research results, it was found that the statements receiving “agree” and “strongly agree” responses regarding product, price, promotion, and place were positively evaluated by consumers. This is evidenced by the average response rate for product at 77.0%. The average response for price was 74.0%. For promotion, the average “agree” and “strongly agree” responses amounted to 71.0%, and for place, 74.0%. From the analysis conducted, it can be concluded that the management of Buccheri has implemented the marketing mix concept effectively, as reflected in the significant and high level of agreement among respondents. Therefore, although the results are positive, Buccheri should continue to maintain and further improve its product, price, promotion, and place strategies, especially by optimizing any indicators that are not yet fully maximized, in order to achieve the company’s vision and mission and ensure sustainable growth in the future.

Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped the business landscape, including the Islamic economic sector in Indonesia. This article examines sharia business marketing strategies within the context of economic digitalization, focusing on Gorontalo City. Using a descriptive-qualitative analytical approach, the study identifies that sharia business actors in Gorontalo face dual challenges: limited digital literacy and the need to maintain business practices in accordance with sharia values. The findings indicate that effective digital marketing strategies must integrate sharia principles (honesty, transparency, and fairness) with the utilization of digital platforms that are accessible to local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This article recommends a trust-based digital marketing approach that emphasizes community building, Islamic educational content, and collaboration within the regional sharia business ecosystem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the financial performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2025 period based on the calculation of Gross Profit Margin, Quick Ratio, and Debt to Asset Ratio. The data used are secondary data collected through documentation study techniques. The data analyzed in this research consist of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2022 to 2025. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the bank soundness analysis, as seen from the Gross Profit Margin, shows that PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk., PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk., and PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk. are in a very healthy condition. This indicates that these three banks have the ability to generate profit from their main operations after accounting for direct costs. The Quick Ratio of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. is categorized as fairly healthy, indicating that the bank has adequate liquidity to meet its short-term obligations. The Quick Ratio of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. is also categorized as fairly healthy, showing sufficient liquidity to fulfill its short-term liabilities. Meanwhile, the Quick Ratio of PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk. is categorized as unhealthy, indicating that the bank experiences difficulties in meeting its short-term obligations, as it is unable to cover its liabilities using its available liquid assets. The Debt to Asset Ratio of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk., PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk., and PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk. is categorized as very healthy. This indicates that the three banks have stable financial conditions and are better able to bear risk. With a low debt-to-asset ratio, banks can maintain strong financial resilience in facing market fluctuations or financial crises.
