Abstract

This article discusses the analysis of employee commitment at PT Glico Manufacturing Indonesia, a snack food company. Employee commitment is an important factor in the company's success. The purpose of conducting this research was to determine the effect of organizational commitment on the work performance of employees at PT. Glico Manifacturing Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive method, which is a problem solving procedure that is investigated by describing or describing the current situation or object of research based on visible facts or as they are. Data collection techniques are interviews and literature study. The data analysis technique is by testing the hypothesis. The results show that organizational commitment has a significant influence on the work performance of employees at PT. Glico Manufacturing Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesia sejak menyatakan kemerdekaan di tahun 1945 memiliki sejarah panjang dalam merespon penanaman modal asing. Pembukaan UUD 1945 secara eksplisit menyatakan Indonesia sebagai negara yang merdeka dan berdaulat memiliki tujuan diantaranya untuk memajukan kesejahteraan umum. Penanaman modal asing yang dianggap mampu menopang dan membantu percepatan serta pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia dalam perkembangannya penuh dengan dinamika. Pada tahun 1965, Pemerintah melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 1965 tentang Pencabutan Undang-Undang Nomor 78 Tahun 1958 tentang Penanaman Modal Asing menegaskan posisi Indonesia sebagai negara yang menolak penanaman modal asing dengan semangat berdiri di atas kaki sendiri. Kondisi tersebut berubah setelah 2 (dua) tahun berselang dimana pada tahun 1967, Pemerintah kembali membuka keran penanaman modal asing di Indonesia melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1967 tentang Penanaman Modal Asing. Kondisi tersebut berlangsung hingga saat ini, dengan segala perubahan kebijakan yang tercermin dalam peraturan perundang-undangan di bidang penanaman modal khususnya yang terus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan serta tuntutan perkembangan ekonomi global. Industri perbankan sebagai bagian dari sistem jasa keuangan yang memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian negara menjadi salah satu bidang yang terbuka bagi penanaman modal asing. Kepemilikan asing di bidang ini dibuka hingga maksimum  kepemilikan sebesar 99%. Hal ini menunjukkan betapa ruang bagi penanaman modal asing sangat besar di bidang industri perbankan di Indonesia. Upaya pengendalian (control by host states) sangat diperlukan mengingat adanya risiko potensial yang mengkin terjadi disebabkan oleh penanaman modal asing. Penelitian bertujuan melihat lebih jauh bagaimana politik hukum penanaman modal asing di Indonesia pada industri perbankan dan upaya bentuk pengendaliannya (control by host states).

Abstract

Angkutan umum merupakan hal yang vital dalam mobilitas masyarakat dalam suatu wilayah perkotaan, tetapi hingga saat ini masih terdapat berbagai masalah yang menghambat produktivitas dan efisiensi angkutan umum di daerah tersebut. Dengan disahkannya PERPU Cipta Kerja No. 2 Tahun 2022 diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi dalam operasional angkutan umum. Namun, implementasi PERPU Cipta Kerja No. 2 Tahun 2022 ini tidaklah mudah. Dibutuhkan kerja sama antara Pemerintah, Operator Angkutan Umum, dan masyarakat untuk menerapkan aturan tersebut dengan baik. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas implementasi PERPU Cipta Kerja No. 2 Tahun 2022 dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi dalam operasional angkutan umum. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik studi kasus normatif dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan masalah produktivitas dan efisiensi angkutan umum di DKI Jakarta adalah dikarenakan ketidaksebandingan antara jumlah angkutan umum yang disediakan dengan jumlah masyarakat yang melakukan mobilitas di DKI Jakarta. Solusi dari hal tersebut adalah dengan meningkatkan infrastruktur serta layanan yang handal dan nyaman di dalam suatu moda transportasi umum, carpooling, dan memberikan fleksibilitas waktu dan tempat kerja, seperti bekerja dari rumah (WFH) atau shift masuk dan pulang kerja yang berbeda-beda.

Abstract

PT. Gunbaster Nickel Industry has had violations of labor regulations that have resulted in the deaths of three workers since 2022. Some of the violations that this company has committed are wage deductions, a contract status system for permanent jobs, unilateral layoffs, wage deductions, and violations of Occupational Health Safety (K3). The actions taken by the employees involved clashing with the union by going on strike. The method used in this study is qualitative and is closely related to observation and secondary data collection. The research process was carried out based on secondary data by collecting data from relevant sources. The author gives suggestions to solve this problem in a tripartite way. This approach is considered beneficial because it is through transparent and open dialogue. All parties can express interests and reach sustainable solutions. Based on the explanation above, the appropriate solution to the problem is the tripartite method. This is because this approach creates fair deals, protects employee rights, promotes harmonious working relationships, and supports business continuity. With the collaboration of all parties, tripartite creates solutions that meet the interests of all parties involved.

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted was to examine the number of foreign languages used in Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya Mall whose meaning is not understood by certain circles. The research method used is a qualitative method and a literature method with documentation techniques. The results of this study are that the use of foreign languages in the Tunjungan Plaza Mall is almost evenly distributed which can threaten the existence of the Indonesian language. Therefore, good use of Indonesian is necessary to maintain the position of Indonesian as the national language.

Abstract

The Independent Learning Curriculum  is a curriculum implemented in Indonesia with the aim of strengthening students' basic competencies and enabling schools to have flexibility in determining learning programs. The application of   Independent Learning Curriculum in Vocational High Schools  has its own challenges because SMKs have a more specific goal, namely to equip students with skills and knowledge relevant to the world of work. This study aims to explore the application of  Independent Learning Curriculum in Vocational Schools and its impact on the quality of learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data is collected through Google From to students at Vocational Schools who apply Independent Learning Curriculum. The results of the research show that the implementation of Independent Learning Curriculum in Vocational High Schools requires careful preparation, including a deep understanding of Independent Learning Curriculum and its implementation, as well as the selection and development of learning programs that are in accordance with the objectives of the Vocational Schools. Even though there are several challenges in implementing  Independent Learning Curriculum in Vocational Schools, such as lack of resources and limited time, Independent Learning Curriculum provides flexibility for teachers and schools in adapting learning programs to the needs of students and the world of work. The impact of implementing  Independent Learning Curriculum in Vocational Schools can be seen in improving the quality of learning and student satisfaction. Students feel more involved in learning and are better prepared to face the world of work after graduating from Vocational Schools. However, it is necessary to carry out continuous evaluation of the implementation of Independent Learning Curriculum in Vocational Schools in order to ensure that learning programs that are adapted to the needs of students and the world of work can continue to be improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine protection, management, and preservation as efforts made to provide legal guarantees, maintain sustainability, and expand the results of participatory development carried out by the PNPM MP Village Independent Community Empowerment National Program (PNPM MP) in the form of SPP (Savings and Loans). Specifically for women and the distribution of facilities The problem faced by the Inter-Village Cooperation Agency (BKAD) is the ongoing arrears from the SPP group in Banyuasin. This research takes issue by investigating the role of BKAD in protecting, managing, and preserving the results of PNPM implementation in Banyuasin District. Qualitative methods selected to research the problem being investigated. Research data was collected by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Determination of informants was carried out by purposive sampling. Information validation through consistent participation, observation, member checking, and triangulation. Data were analyzed qualitatively, consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study cover three issues. First, BKAD conducts safeguards aimed at inventorying SPP assets and properties through discussions. Second, BKAD conducts management programs by restructuring client loans, in collaboration with all teams involved in PNPM. Third, the conservation efforts carried out by BKAD have resulted in a sustainable SPP.

Abstract

Language serves as a means of oral and written communication used by humans to interact. The use of proper and correct language, especially Indonesian language, is a necessity. In writing descriptive essays, it is important to use formal and effective sentences to ensure that the writer's message is easily understood by the readers. Based on these reasons, the researcher is interested in understanding and examining more deeply the errors in constructing effective sentences made by students. The focus of this research is on the reports of physical chemistry experiments written by students of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran East Java. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method. In this research, the analyzed information is the errors in constructing effective sentences in the reports of physical chemistry experiments by students from UPN Veteran East Java in 2023. From the data analysis of the reports of physical chemistry experiments by UPN Veteran East Java students, it is revealed that there are several errors in the writing of those reports. The errors found include the breakdown of the main ideas, the combination of elements in sentences, the excessive use of words, spelling errors, irregular sentence structures, and incompleteness in the elements of effective sentences. However, to reduce these kinds of errors, there are several steps that can be taken: (1) students are advised to actively ask questions to their professors or peers regarding the mistakes they have made, (2) applying the knowledge they have learned, especially in producing papers as scientific works, (3) students need to make efforts to enhance their understanding and experience through reading books and scientific works so that they can develop new knowledge and approach perfection in writing scientific works by avoiding possible errors.

Abstract

The role of civic education for prospective leaders, especially students, is currently only theoretical, so in this case there is still a lack of practical formation of leadership ethics, as well as theories in civic education are easily ignored because they are not actually proven in learning. That way the role of civic education is quite important to shape the leadership ethics described in theory to be stored in practice. In addition, the role of civic education will facilitate the formation of ethics, so that the process of instilling character morality and responsibility becomes more efficient. The method used in shaping the ethics of leadership with character and responsibility uses a qualitative approach by implementing a critical paradigm. The research results in the form of an analytical tool that can be used for students to facilitate the process of forming values of character and responsibility from the theory of civic education, as well as the formation of leadership ethics into a more practical person. So that it can be concluded that at this time the role of civic education is still carried out in a way of learning that is confined by theory, in which way there is still a risk of saturation, so an analytical tool is needed that can overcome this, which is expected to reduce the existing risks, so that the process of forming leadership ethics with character and responsibility will become a real commitment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the production process and marketing strategies carried out by the Dim Sum Senopati company and to increase our knowledge in the business sector. The method of writing this article is a descriptive method and data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. And data analysis techniques using content analysis (documentation research) and descriptive analysis. The use of an affordable price strategy in selling Dim Sum Senopati is an effective step to increase business competitiveness. Competitiveness is very important in the business world in facing strong competition in the market. By offering products at affordable prices, businesses can attract more potential customers who may previously have thought products were too expensive. For this reason, companies must always try to produce high quality products but at prices that are still affordable by consumers.
