Abstract

This research discusses the strategic role of the East Java Province Department of Industry and Trade in developing creative industries through the establishment and management of the East Java Information Technology Creative (JITC) Surabaya. The background to the formation of JITC is based on the increasing importance of the creative and digital industry sector in driving regional economic growth and job creation in the era of a knowledge-based economy. The East Java Provincial Government responded to this development by providing technology facilities and collaboration spaces that support the activities of creative industry players, especially digital startups. JITC not only functions as a center for innovation and human resource training, but also as an ecosystem that facilitates digital product development, technical skills training, and expanding market networks for creative business actors. Apart from that, JITC's contribution to local revenue (PAD) is also starting to be seen through increasing local economic activity, business taxes, and the creation of new technology-based businesses. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method which focuses on the role of East Java Information Technology Creative (JITC) Surabaya as the main unit of analysis. This research shows that collaboration between government institutions and creative communities through infrastructure such as JITC has a real impact on economic development and sustainable community empowerment.

Abstract

Washing the head is one of the most important pillars of ablution which has a strong legal basis contained in the Koran and hadith. However, in this case the scholars have differences of opinion regarding the scope and method of valid head washing, especially among the four main schools of thought in Islamic jurisprudence, namely (Maliki school, Syafi'i School, Hanafi School, and Hanbali School). This research aims to analyze these differences of opinion comparatively, by reviewing the arguments used, the legal istinbath method, and its implications in terms of the daily practices of Muslims.

Abstract

This thesis analyzes the corporate legal liability or liability of PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance (CNAF) for alleged Unlawful Acts (PMH) against its workers. This research is driven by the legal complications surrounding the problematic of Termination of Employment Relationships carried out by one party that is not procedural, which is specifically reflected in the Industrial Relations Court Decision at the Surabaya District Court Number 105/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2024/PN Sby. The purpose of this research is to analyze and understand the form of liability that must be borne by the company, as well as to assess the reasons for the judge's legal considerations in Decision No. 105/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2024/PN Sby. This study employs a normative legal research methodology linked to applicable legal regulations. The approaches used include the Statutory Approach, Conceptual Approach and Case Approach by analyzing Decision Number 105/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2024/PN Sby. The analysis results show that the unilateral termination of employment without valid proof of the alleged violation of the code of ethics by workers has fulfilled the components of Unlawful Acts (PMH) such as Article 1365 of the Civil Code. Thus, PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance has liability for worker losses, both based on corporate liability and vicarious liability (employer's liability for the actions of subordinates) according to Article 1367 of the Civil Code. The judge's reason in the decision is considered to have applied the principle of progressive law, by affirming the company's liability and providing compensation, as an effort to realize substantive justice and protection for workers as a vulnerable party in industrial relations.

Abstract

From an Islamic perspective, leadership and motivation are two essential elements that are interrelated in shaping the quality of organizations and individuals. Islamic leadership can be understood as spiritual, requiring the application of the values of justice, honesty, deliberation, trustworthiness, concern for the welfare of the community, and the ability to manage and direct. On the other hand, motivation functions as a driving force that influences behavioral consistency, direction, and intensity in achieving success. This paper reviews the concept of Islamic leadership, the factors that influence motivation, as well as theories of motivation and achievement motivation, then relates them to the practice of Islamic entrepreneurship. Through a review of literature and history, the discussion shows that the integration of Islamic leadership and achievement motivation creates an entrepreneurial model focused on blessings and halal profits. This principle has been proven to be able to produce an ethical, just, and sustainable economic system.

Abstract

The gap in Islamic religious education in schools is commonplace, school programs such as extracurricular activities that are formed do not fully provide religious education to children, generally only focusing on cognitive. Currently there is a decline in student character. Of course this must be addressed immediately. The purpose of this study is to develop extracurricular activities of Rohis (Islamic Spirituality) in fostering quality students in knowledge, faith, and charity. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained from the results of observations, interviews, and documentation supported by sources from journals. The results of the study showed that there were several activities carried out in Rohis activities, Al-Qur'an recitation, charity, sunnah dhuha prayer, congregational zuhur prayer. These activities were carried out in accordance with considerations from the results of interviews and observations and the impacts that would be obtained if the activities were effective. Appropriate methods are needed such as habituation and role models as well as cooperation between parents and the community for the smooth running of the Rohis extracurricular program at Bukittinggi State Elementary School.

Abstract

Marxist theory is one of the classical social theories that provides an analytical foundation for understanding the social and economic dynamics of society. This theory emphasizes that social, political, and cultural structures do not stand independently, but are shaped by the system of production and the underlying economic relations. Within this theoretical framework, human history is viewed as the history of struggles between social classes. This paper elaborates in depth on the definition of Marxist theory, its founding figures, the historical background of its emergence, the main ideas developed by Karl Marx, and the relevance of his theory in the modern context. Through this discussion, it is expected that readers will understand that Marxist theory is not merely a scientific analysis, but also a form of social critique against inequalities arising from the capitalist system.

Abstract

Honesty is a fundamental value in Islamic teachings that is closely related to the formation of individual morality and social order. One hadith that explicitly emphasizes the importance of honesty is the saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which states that honesty leads to goodness and goodness leads to Paradise. This study aims to examine the hadith on honesty through the approach of takhrij al-?adith and philosophical analysis in order to determine its authenticity, textual variations, and the ethical implications of its meaning in the social life of Muslims. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research design. Primary data sources consist of authoritative hadith collections such as ?a?i? al-Bukhari, ?a?i? Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan al-Tirmidhi, and Musnad A?mad, supported by secondary sources including scholarly books and academic journal articles. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of hadith tracing (takhrij), sanad and matn criticism, itibar of transmission chains, as well as philosophical and contextual analysis. The findings indicate that the hadith stating that “honesty leads to goodness” has a continuous chain of transmission, reliable narrators (thiqah), and a text that does not contradict the Qur’an or sound reasoning, thus classifying it as an authentic hadith. Philosophically, this hadith affirms that honesty serves as a foundational principle for moral integrity, noble character development, and social harmony, while dishonesty constitutes a source of moral and social corruption. Therefore, the internalization of honesty as taught in the hadith remains highly relevant in addressing contemporary moral challenges.

Abstract

Psychoanalytic theory has become an essential tool in understanding literary characters, providing deep insights into motivations, internal conflicts, and psychological development of figures. This study aims to explore the role of psychoanalytic theory in character analysis within Indonesian literature. Using a qualitative approach and literature review, this article examines various literary works that depict the psychological complexities of characters, as well as how psychoanalytic theory can aid readers in understanding the emotional dynamics and behaviors of these figures. The findings indicate that the application of psychoanalytic theory not only enriches character interpretation but also opens discussions about the social and cultural contexts influencing character creation in literature.

Abstract

Indonesia is highly susceptible to disasters, with floods frequently triggering Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression. This study reviews the effectiveness and implementation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a psychological intervention solution post-disaster, utilizing a literature review method. Findings confirm that CBT is significantly effective in reducing anxiety and stress and enhancing resilience (p-value = 0.000). CBT works by modifying cognitions (distorted negative thoughts) and maladaptive behaviors, teaching clients to identify the cognitive errors that instigate psychological disorders. CBT implementation varies (e.g., eight structured sessions) but fundamentally aims to alter thought and behavioral patterns. Therefore, CBT is a vital and appropriate approach for the psychological recovery of disaster victims, assisting them in achieving normal functioning.

Abstract

Tax aggressiveness is a proactive action taken by many large companies to avoid tax obligations and maximize profits. Companies organize their financial activities to minimize tax costs or carry out aggressive tax planning within the limits of applicable laws to minimize tax obligations. In making scientific articles, previous research is needed. This article presents a review of what factors have an influence on Tax Aggressiveness, namely Leverage, Capital Intensity, and Profitability. This article aims to formulate a hypothesis about the relationship between variables that can be used in subsequent research. The findings from this literature review are: 1) Leverage has an impact on Tax Aggressiveness; 2) Capital Intensity has an impact on Tax Aggressiveness; and 3) Profitability has an impact on Tax Aggressiveness.
