Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether learning English using imitation video technique can improve the English pronunciation ability of class X high school students who were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. This study used a samples of 50 students taken from 25 students the experimental class  and 25 students from the control class. In this study, the researcher used student records to determine the pre-test and post-test. Furthermore, the results of the two tests were tested statistically using the normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The average value in the data shows that the pre-test value in the class that received treatment was 46.24 and the average value in the post-test was 72.88. after being applied to imitate English videos, there was an increase in the average score of students by 26.64. then the results of the t-test showed to t-table with a significant level of 5% was 2.93 and the degrees of freedom (df) were 48, for the t-test score was 3.61. As the t-test value is greater than the t-table value, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In measuring the level of effect size with d= 1.78 this shows that this study has  strong effective in improving students; English pronunciation skills. Therefore, to improve English pronunciation skills, it is highly recommended to use the technique of imitating English videos through YouTube media.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara hukum yang memiliki peraturan perundang-undangan dalam kehidupan bernegara. Selain bernegara hukum, Indonesia juga satu diantara negara-negara yang menerapkan sistem demokrasi. Pembentukan peraturan perundang-undangan sangat penting demi menjamin ketepatan hukum dan tercapainya tujuan bernegara. Oleh karena itu, asas-asas peraturan perundang-undangan wajib dipenuhi seperti yang sudah ditetapkan. Pengesahan UU Cipta Kerja Omnibus Law memicu permasalahan di kalangan masyarakat, karena Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja yang prosesnya menyimpang dari peraturan hukum dalam membuat undang - undang dan tidak adanya asas demokrasi. Dimulai dari tidak transparannya dalam proses pembentukan, kurang dilibatkannya pendapat masyarakat, serta lembaga legislatif dan para pemerintah lainnya yang tidak mementingkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Juga banyak pasal yang merugikan para pekerja dan mengutamakan kepentingan pejabat atau orang yang berkuasa saja. Selain itu, contoh lainnya adalah Undang-undang Cipta Kerja ini yang hanya memberi jalan mudah kepada keberlangsungan investasi dan usaha namun mengabaikan dan mengesampingkan tentang pengelolaan lingkungan hidup.

Abstract

The import of used clothes is a rather complex problem in Indonesia, especially for domestic textile entrepreneurs. The import of used clothes is seen as a threat to the domestic textile industry because it can reduce the competitiveness of domestic textile products. This research was conducted with the following specific objectives: (1) to identify the factors that influence people's decisions to choose to buy imported used clothing products; (2) knowing the impact of imported used clothes on the business of domestic textile entrepreneurs; and (3) provide policy recommendations that can be implemented to reduce the negative impact of used clothing imports for domestic textile entrepreneurs. This research was conducted by means of a literature study. Data collection was carried out by collecting several previous studies to answer the influence of used clothing imports on domestic textile entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The results of the study show that the factors that influence people's decisions to choose to buy imported used clothing products are divided into two, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors, namely those originating from within the individual concerned such as economic or work conditions, attitudes and beliefs, lifestyle and motivation. External factors are factors that come from outside the individual concerned such as environmental, social and cultural conditions, price and product quality. The import of used clothes has an impact on several things, namely (1) on the survival of domestic textile entrepreneurs, (2) on the quality of products of domestic textile entrepreneurs (3) on the competitiveness of domestic textile products and (4) on employment in the textile industry domestic. Based on the research results, the researchers suggest the government to tighten supervision on the import of illegal used clothes and the government can also consider several measures to control the import of used clothes, such as imposing higher import taxes or limiting the import quota of used clothes. Apart from that, it is also necessary to make efforts to increase domestic production of textiles and textile products so that they can compete with imports of used clothes in terms of quality and price. As well as for the Indonesian people it is hoped that they will love domestic products more.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Pengangguran, Umr Dan Gini Ratio Terhadap Kemiskinan Di Sumatera Utara Tahun 2001 Sampai Dengan Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Berdasarkan uji t-statistik (uji parsial) pengangguran berpengaruh namun tidak signifikan dan variabel umr dan gini berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kemiskinan di provinsi sumatera utara.

Abstract

Education is an important component of a country. Education is one of the obligations of every citizen to advance the progress of thought and advance the progress of the nation. The Civics education is a general compulsory subject in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the impact of globalization on nationalism at UPN “veteran” schools in East Java and the importance of citizenship education in the campus environment. In this study, we used qualitative methods, interviewed 3 informants and distributed questionnaires to 50 additional informants. All of them were “veteran” UPN students from East Java. The results of interviews and surveys conducted resulted in the conclusion that love for the nation and also having a sense of nationalism must be instilled in the younger generation through citizenship education in the educational environment. This will help achieve the goals of civics education and make citizens aware of their rights and obligations as members of the Indonesian state. In this way the quality of the implementation of civics education will further increase the awareness of the younger generation that they are the next generation of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

The purpose of this industrial visit is to find out about employee training and development at CV. Arsana Sentosa which is an important thing to do for CV. Arsana Sentosa, this visit is very important in a visit or scientific article. relevant past visits serve to organize theory and benefits in training among employees. This article discusses knowledge, skills and attitudes about a Human Resource Management relationship that has a goal in training. The purpose of this article is to develop and find innovative training in the future by carrying out training objectives by means of knowledge, skills and attitudes that are honest and good. Articles from the Visit include: The first three are "Knowledge in training" "Ability in employee training" and "attitude in employee training." The method used in this visit is a descriptive method obtained by the author through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this industrial visit indicate that the human resource management carried out in developing the CV. Arsana Sentosa is implemented through job training, development and innovative training, employee attitude with honesty and mandatory training that is carried out regularly.

Abstract

Our goal of visiting Umkm's place is to expand existing sales in our city, namely Karawang and also improve culture. Work motivation is a driving force in a person to behave and work diligently in accordance with the duties and obligations that have been given to him. The decline in work motivation for MSME actors in Belendung village can be caused by several factors, starting from the Covid-19 pandemic which has reduced sales productivity to no there was a month's worth of productivity, as well as an increase and scarcity of materials to make products. The methods used in this service are interviews and observation. Interviews were conducted in order to obtain information directly to explain a matter or situation and conditions that occur in SMEs. While observations are made with the aim of drawing conclusions by direct observation. Based on the research conducted, the result is that there is a decrease in work motivation for MSME actors in Belendung village, this is caused by problems that occur without any effort to increase work motivation so that they can work optimally.

Abstract

Bullying telah menjadi masalah berat bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat sejak lama, terbukti dari data statistik berikut. Berdasarkan data yang dirilis oleh Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI), sepanjang tahun 2022, tercatat ada pengaduan 226 kasus kekerasan fisik dan psikis, dengan kasus perundungan yang terus meningkat sampai saat ini. Penelitian kami berjudul Pencegahan Fenomena Bullying di Kalangan Mahasiswa Teknik Lingkungan angkatan 22 UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif sedangkan untuk memperoleh data menggunakan metode pengumpulan data survei. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif adalah metode yang diaplikasikan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan atau teori terhadap pengkajian pada waktu tertentu (Mukhtar, 2013). Metode pengumpulan data survei ialah penelitian yang dilaksanakan untuk mendapatkan data-data dari fenomena yang berlangsung dan mencari keterangan-keterangan secara faktual, baik tentang institusi, sosial, ekonomi, atau politik dari suatu kelompok atau daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwasanya terdapat 17% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang tidak pernah mendapatkan bullying, 47,2% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang jarang mendapatkan bullying, 32,1% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang kadang-kadang mendapatkan bullying, 3,8% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang sering mendapatkan bullying, dan 0% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang sangat sering mendapatkan bullying, dari total responden yang dijadikan sampel penelitian yang pernah mendapatkan bullying. Sebagian besar responden mempunyai teman di lingkungan kampus dan tidak pernah mengalami bullying melalui media sosial. Untuk cara mencegah terjadinya bullying di lingkup prodi responden banyak menjawab dengan tidak ikut campur urusan orang lain dan berusaha melakukan hal positif lain yang lebih menguntungkan dan saat terjadinya bullying sikap yang akan diambil dengan melaporkan hal tersebut kepada pihak berwenang dan membela korban bullying agar merasa terlindungi dari ancaman.

Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution is defined as the application of technology, intelligent systems, and automation to industrial operations. In this case the 4.0 revolution is an industrial revolution which is a general transformation phase in the industrial world related to data exchange and automation in factory technology, robotic technology and artificial intelligence. With the 4.0 industrial revolution, many things have changed in various sectors, where in the operational activities of a company it does not require many workers to run it, because it has been replaced by the use of technological machines. Thus, many workers will be laid off because they are replaced by technology. In order to implement the industrial revolution 4.0, this study aims to provide a solution by identifying a suitable company industrial relations management strategy. This way, there won't be any conflicts between employers and employees, and businesses can implement the industrial revolution 4.0 without running afoul of the workforce. A qualitative technique was employed in this study throughout the stages of data collection employing library research to gather various books, journals, or other online sources that are relevant to the issues and study objectives. Then the data obtained is then identified using the descriptive method so that general conclusions can be drawn relating to the company's industrial relations management strategy which is suitable in the effort to implement the industrial revolution 4.0 so that there is no conflict between employers and workers.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa merupakan kasus khusus bagi guru kelas III. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III UPT SD Negeri 379 Gresik dilakukan riset aksi kelas. Tujuan dari riset aksi kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika melalui model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah riset aksi kelas (anction research), sedangkan metode pengumpulan informasi yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan pengujian yang dilaksanakan melalui beberapa sesi yaitu planning (perencanaan), acting (aksi), observating (pengamatan), dan reflecting (refleksi). Riset aksi kelas ini dilaksanakan melalui 2 siklus revisi pendidikan dengan menggunakan sistem siklus. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada penerapan pembelajaran Matematika dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning di kelas III UPT SD Negeri 379 Gresik adalah informasi kuantitatif dari hasil yang diperoleh jika jumlah tes adalah 1 (tes sebelum pendidikan model Discovery Learning) sebesar 1.095. Setelah menemukan model pendidikan Discovery Learning. Selanjutnya mencoba tes kedua untuk mencari nilai dengan jumlah 1.210 sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 125. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika di UPT SD Negeri 379 Gresik.
