Abstract

The study of waste management based on maqashid shari'ah and circular economy requires a study to realize wise and Islamic waste management. This research comes with the aim to find out and analyze waste management based on maqashid shari'ah and circular economy in TPST 3R Blitar Regency, namely TPST 3R "Abdi Karya mandiri" and TPST 3R "Punokawan".  This research uses a qualitative approach with this type of case study research because this study examines an event that occurs today, which is related to waste management based on maqashid shari'ah and circular economy. Data excavation methods use observation, interview and documentation methods. In this study it was found that maqashid shari'ah-based waste management in TPST 3R Blitar Regency indirectly meets the five main elements of shari'ah maqashid, namely hifzh al-din, hifzh al-nafs, hifz al 'aql, hifzh hifzh al-nasl, and hifzh al-mal. Then in circular economy-based waste management at TPST 3R Blitar Regency produces sustainable and renewable products that are indirectly in accordance with the circular economy concept. This is because the waste management and processing system in the two TPST 3R has a rotating and interconnected production flow from upstream to downstream.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize the Early Warning System (EWS) component to predict the condition of Islamic banks before bankruptcy. This study uses the springate score model to measure the Financial Distress (FD) condition of Islamic banks. Samples were taken from 13 Islamic Commercial Banks for the period 2016 - 2020. The EWS components are Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financing Deposit to Ratio (FDR) and Allowance for Impairment Losses (CKPN). Based on the springate score calculation, the highest FD conditions occurred in 2019 and 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The logistic regression test results show that only the NPF ratio has a positive effect on FD. While the CAR, FDR and CKPN variables have no effect on FD. This proves that the CAR, FDR and CKPN ratios owned by Islamic banks are said to be good so as to keep away from FD conditions.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between government spending variables, Islamic commercial bank financing, and waqf, focusing on the inclusiveness of economic development, using a quantitative approach to explanatory research. A panel data regression analysis model is used to test the hypotheses. The results of the analysis partially explain that government spending and Islamic commercial bank financing have a significant positive effect on the inclusiveness of economic development. Meanwhile, the waqf variable does not affect the inclusiveness of economic development. This study uses Ibn Khaldun’s hikkamiyah theory to explain economic development. By improving the quality of institutions, such as the government and financial sector, and applying fair principles in conducting economic development in Indonesia, inclusive economic development becomes more realistic.
