Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the design of the Balanced Scorecard in the largest daily newspaper company in eastern Indonesia and to describe the causal relationship of strategic objectives on the Strategy Map to achieve the company's vision and mission. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. Data obtained by semi-structured interviews from several informants related to the preparation of strategic objectives in daily newspaper companies. The formulation of strategic objectives is identified through the elaboration of the vision and mission of PT. SKG. After that, the identified strategic objectives are defined into the Balanced Scorecard. The author uses the SKG daily newspaper company because PT.SKG does not have a framework that links the strategic objectives according to the vision and mission of PT.SKG. The results of this study indicate that the balanced scorecard design at PT.SKG produces 14 strategic objectives. The customer perspective has 2 strategic objectives. The strategic goal setting from the perspective in the Balanced Scorecard is appropriate and in line with the company's vision and mission. The flow of the cause and effect relationship with the company's strategic objectives is contained in the Strategy Map.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of education and job training on increasing employee productivity either partially or simultaneously. The approach used in this study is an associative approach. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Indonesian Sagami. The sample in this study using the slovin formula totaling 92 employees of PT. Indonesian Sagami. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, documentation studies, observation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test, Hypothesis Testing (t Test and F Test), and Coefficient of Determination. The data processing in this study used the SPSS (Statistic Package for the Social Sciences) software program version 24.00. The results of this study prove that partially and simultaneously education and job training have an effect on increasing employee productivity at PT. Indonesian Sagami.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction on consumer loyalty maxim in the city of Medan. The influence of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on Maxim customer loyalty in Medan City. The research method used is associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were Maxim consumers in Medan City, with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Primary data was obtained from questionnaires which were distributed via google form, while secondary data was obtained through library data. Methods of data analysis using instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of the research conducted show that the variables of service quality (X1), trust (X2) and customer satisfaction (X3) have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. However, the variables of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction have a simultaneous effect on consumer loyalty (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a close relationship between service quality, customer trust and satisfaction on consumer loyalty with an R value of 83.6%. Through the value of the Adjusted R square it is known that the variables of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction contribute 69% to the consumer loyalty variable while the remaining 31% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The state of the pandemic has caused several government policies that have limited public activities in interacting. This certainly has an impact on various sectors of the company. The impact that can be felt by the company is the implementation of WFH in its operational activities. With the existence of WFH, companies make decisions to reduce the compensation. This has an impact on employee productivity. Therefore, the BPJS Employment of the Sumbagut Regional Office must pay attention to the implementation of WFH and the provision of compensation properly so that employee performance gets better. This study aims to determine the effect of WFH and compensation on employee productivity at the Employment of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kanwil Sumbagut. This study uses quantitative methods involving 30 employees as a sample. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used instrument test of validity, reliability, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the WFH and compensation variables significantly and simultaneously affect employee productivity. The influence given by the WFH and Compensation variables contributed 41.2% to the employee productivity variable.

Abstract

The lack of understanding the concept of product quality and customer love for the brand made Apple loyal consumers and especially Generation Z who like to try new things, choose to try using products from other brands on the market. This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality on repurchase intention on Apple brand among students of Generation Z University of North Sumatera, analyze the effect of brand love on repurchase intention on Apple brand among students of Generation Z University of North Sumatera, and to analyze the effect of product quality and brand love on repurchase intention on Apple brand among students of Generation Z University of North Sumatera. The form of research used in this study is quantitative research with associative approach. Sampling is done through probability sampling technique and using 100 respondents as a sample. Data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis test. The results showed that Product Quality significantly affect Repurchase Intention. Meanwhile, the Brand Love variable has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention. Product Quality and Brand Love also affect together the dependent variable is Repurchase Intention .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of family background, lifestyle, and association on interest in entrepreneurship in the younger generation in Medan City. Then it will be analyzed partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sampling technique is Nonprobability Sampling and involves 100 respondents. Primary data is obtained directly by distributing questionnaires through a google form, while secondary data is obtained through a literature study. The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the family background variable (X1) does not influence the interest in entrepreneurship, and the lifestyle variable (X2) and association (X3) significantly influence the interest in entrepreneurship. However, family background (X1), lifestyle (X2), and association (X3) together (simultaneously) affect the interest in entrepreneurship (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a fairly close relationship between family background, lifestyle, and association with an interest in entrepreneurship with an R-value of 0.904. Through the Adjusted R-value, it is also known that the variables of family background, lifestyle, and association with an interest in entrepreneurship contribute 81.2% while the remaining 18.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study seeks to analyze employee engagement and job satisfaction as an effort to increase work effectiveness in CU. Cinta Kasih Tigapanah. The form of research used in this study is qualitative research. Data collection is carried out through documentation, interview, and observation techniques. The data analysis process is carried out by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, then drawing conclusions. The results of the research conducted show that the application of employee engagement and job satisfaction as an effort to increase employee work effectiveness has gone well and it can be seen that employees in terms of materials, skills, directions, and meeting employee job satisfaction so as to produce employee work effectiveness while carrying out their duties. This is shown by the opinions of employees towards the company both in terms of the dimension of employee engagement and the dimension of job satisfaction in increasing work effectiveness efforts.

Abstract

One of the agricultural products that contributes significantly to the economy in terms of income for the country is coffee. One of the cities in Aceh Province that produces coffee is the city of Takengon with Gayo coffee. One of the villages is said to not have the word prosperous in terms of farmers' income, namely Pepalang village. The income from coffee farming has decreased, resulting in the inability to meet the needs of farmers because the demand for food, plantations, children's school fees and others must be incurred. Farmers are still classified as conventional in doing the work, either by farming, selling coffee and managing coffee. The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of digital marketing as an effort to increase the income of Gayo coffee farmers (a study in Pepalang village, Takengon city) with digital marketing indicators including Accessibility, Interactivity, Entertainment, Credibility, Irritation and Informativeness. Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility is a form of responsibility from the company for social life and the environment both within the company and around the company. PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk is here to provide Corporate Social Responsibility programs, especially in Parmaksian District where the company was founded. However, there is still news that PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk does not give enough care to the community and operational activities that have a negative impact on the community, causing protests for the company. This study aims to analyze how that is conducted by PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk and analyze how the effectiveness of the implemented programs for improving the welfare and quality of human resources in the Parmaksian District society during 2020-2021. So that it can be known whether the implemented programs by PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk company are running effectively. This study uses a qualitative method which aims to describe the phenomena that is occured. Data collection techniques that are used in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. This study collects information from interviewing informants consisting of key informants, main informants and additional informants. The data analysis technique uses the data reduction process, data presentation and discussion. The results of this study indictaes that the Corporate Social Responsibility programs of PT. Toba Pulp Lestari is running well and effectively in improving the welfare and quality of human resources of the Parmaksian District society during 2020-2021. However, there are still many Corporate Social Responsibility programs that need to be improved and added by PT. Toba Pulp Lestari so that the public welfare and the quality of human resources in the Parmaksian District community will be more advanced and better.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of e-service quality and perceived value on customer satisfaction on the use of the Halodoc application in the city of Medan. This research is a quantitative study with an associative approach and uses data collection methods using questionnaire survey instruments and non-probability sampling techniques. The sample of this research is 100 respondents who have used the Halodoc application service at least twice and are domiciled in the city of Medan. This study processes data and research results using SPSS software version 26. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it shows that e service quality significantly effect on customer satisfaction with t value of 2.927 > t table 1.984, perceived value significantly effect on customer satisfaction with t value 8,489 > t table 1,984, e service quality and perceived value significantly effect on customer satisfaction simultaneously with f value of 73.290 > f table 3.09.
