Abstract

Abstract Mental health is a very important aspect for the well-being of oneself and one's family, but is often neglected in everyday life. No exception for a mother, a mother's mental health can affect family conditions and child rearing patterns. According to mental health specialists, mental health problems that often occur in mothers are stress, depression and anxiety disorders. Mental health problems in working mothers can be caused by multiple responsibilities in their roles as wives, mothers and career women. Meanwhile, for housewives, mental health problems can be caused by activities that feel like they never end and recurring problems that are not handled appropriately. In one of our community service activities, we held outreach regarding mental health for housewives and career mothers with the aim of socializing and increasing understanding of housewives and career mothers about the importance of caring for mental health. The targets of this service activity are housewives who attend Integrated Healthcare Center activities in Malakasari Village. The data collection method uses the literature study method, this socialization activity is carried out using lecture, evaluation and question and answer methods. As a result of this outreach, it is hoped that mothers will be more aware and understand the importance of mental health in their role as mothers.

Abstract

Promiscuity is a form of deviant behavior or crossing the boundaries of applicable norms. Promiscuity in Malakasari Village, especially teenagers in RW 06, needs to be prevented by choosing good friends/environment, and being aware of their own worth. Based on the results of the discussion, there was one resident with experience in taking an approach to straightening out other residents who had fallen into promiscuity. The educational activities carried out by KKN 67 aim to create healthy and characterful families. The method used is a qualitative method with observation techniques, documents and descriptive research. To avoid promiscuity, socialization can be carried out among teenagers regarding the negative impacts of promiscuity. The socialization carried out can be done by educating teenagers or it can also be done by taking a personal approach to the teenagers. This personal approach has a good influence in reducing the prevalence of promiscuity which is currently on the rise.

Abstract

Group IV Student Work Lecture (KKM) STIE Pasim Sukabumi 2023, research on Utilizing the Potential of Bamboo as Environmentally Friendly Packaging in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Sector to Boost the Economy in Cisarua Village, Babakan Jampang Village, RT.01, RW.11, Cikole District, Sukabumi City, West Java Province. The purpose of this study was to analyze how important it is to utilize the potential of bamboo as environmentally friendly packaging in the development strategy of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to improve the economy of Cisarua Village. The research method used in the current research is qualitative, technically using general and comprehensive observation techniques, which means starting from interviews, and also direct observation. The results obtained from this research are that the community elevates local values ​​and synergizes with the surrounding environment, especially the use of bamboo as an environmentally friendly material.

Abstract

The success of regional development cannot be separated from the synergy of various parties to collaborate in improving community welfare. The synergy of Pentahelix, namely academics, universities, industry, government, community and media is an important factor in achieving development success. Pentahelix is expected to be able to synergize well so that regional economic development targets with a local wisdom approach in the digital era can be achieved. The problem in Tana Toraja Regency is the lack of business development, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), even though the tourism business in Tana Toraja has extraordinary potential. The beauty of various cultural tourism destinations, coffee products and high-quality woven fabrics. This potential should provide opportunities for MSMEs to succeed but it is difficult to develop their business. Based on this, a pentahelix collaboration strategy is needed to develop the potential of MSMEs in the Tana Toraja tourist destination area. The method of community service through stages: (1) exploration with all elements of the pentahelix (2) socializing the pentahelix synergy in the national seminar forum (3) observing problems in the Toraja area (3) initial survey of MSME development needs in Toraja (4) implementation of service with MSME partners. The output obtained from the implementation of this Service and Empowerment Program is to increase the knowledge (capacity building) and skills (soft skills) of entrepreneurs in the development of MSMEs in the Tana Toraja Regency area.

Abstract

The world economic began to grow after the Covid-19 Pandemic. The existence of the internet and increasingly sophisticated technological developments also have a significant impact on the development and growth of the world economy. One of them is social media which is now used not only as a communication tool but also as a promotional tool. Social media is in great demand by people of all ages, making it a very profitable platform for promoting goods/services. The number of followers or viewers on a social media application will have an impact on the number of people who will see advertisements or promotions for the goods/services being marketed. One of the social media applications that is popular at the moment is Tiktok. Initially, this application was only for entertainment, containing hit songs and people dancing. However, now it is starting to be used as a place to promote goods or services, both live and not. This is very popular with the public and people can buy the products or services offered directly while they are live. Of course, this can be very profitable if applied to MSMEs assisted by the Bandung City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, because with minimal capital you will get big profits where your products will soon be known to the general public and can increase sales.

Abstract

Cooperatives are a form of business entity that continues to be developed in Indonesia. It is hoped that this cooperative will continue to develop because it is considered to be in accordance with the character of the Indonesian nation, namely Gotong Royong. The independence of cooperatives is highly expected so that cooperatives become businesses that are able to stand alone in carrying out their business activities independently, able to earn profits so that they can maintain the continuity of their business and improve the welfare of cooperative members. Financial management is important for cooperative administrators to pay attention to. Financial management responsibilities start from preparing budgets to preparing financial reports. For the development and development of cooperatives as business entities which also act as drivers of the people's economy, cooperatives must be managed with open, transparent and accountable principles. This activity aims to ensure that managers can understand that managing finances needs to be done, so that it is useful in overcoming the problems currently being faced in managing cooperative finances. This activity is carried out by conducting a literature study, determining the location, determining the implementation time and duration of the activity, determining and preparing material, delivering material in the form of material and illustrations regarding financial management. The result of this activity is that cooperative financial managers can find out how to manage finances by making financial reports. The conclusion from this activity is that training in managing finances is a very important activity, it is hoped that managers can manage cooperative finances well.

Abstract

Waste is one of Indonesia's biggest problems, especially in the city of Bandung. The biggest waste is generated from household waste. If this trash is left untreated, there will be a flood disaster in Indonesia. Community knowledge in RW 12 Bandung Inten about waste and its management is still minimal. For this reason, it is important to educate the public on how to sort and manage organic waste properly, as well as making residents aware not to just throw away waste without further consideration. Based on these problems, the aim of this community service activity is to provide a solution by educating the public about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and collecting and processing organic waste. If managed well, organic waste can be considered to have positive value. Compost can be made from organic waste, which can also be used as an alternative to artificial fertilizer. Apart from increasing soil fertility, compost is also produced through the use of organic waste. Traditional distribution of materials, demonstrations of household waste sorting activities, and conversations held to strengthen residents' understanding of the materials provided and demonstrations carried out are the approaches utilized in this PkM. activity. As a consequence of the PkM activities carried out on December 3 2023, the community showed concern for the importance of maintaining cleanliness, as well as increasing the community's understanding and knowledge of the process of sorting and processing organic landfill waste.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that sends labor abroad. This is based on several factors, among others: (1) large demand for labor abroad, (2) higher wages offered, (3) job opportunities open abroad and (4) gaining new experience and skills while working abroad. The activities are planned by LTSAPMI, coordinated meetings for the implementation of the activities. Implementation of activities in cooperation with PT Laatansa Transit International and a lecturer from the Polytechnic Pajajaran. This training will be conducted at the office of PT. Laantansa Lintas International, Road Werkudara Raya No. 9 Sunyaragi Kecambi City of Cirebon from 14 – 17 May 2024. The material provided is critical thinking in making decisions, making budgets, planning savings and credit and loans. The financial literacy provided can provide insight and supply to be able to work safely in the country of people. Financial literacy given to equip CPMI how to manage the money they earn while working abroad. It is also a collaboration between government, industry and academia in creating a broader and sustainable impact on economic, social, and environmental development.

Abstract

Saung Ciburial Tourism Village holds significant potential for the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), yet it faces various challenges that impact its sustainability and competitiveness. This initiative aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) faced by MSMEs in Saung Ciburial Tourism Village and to formulate effective sustainable development strategies. The methods used in this initiative include surveys, in-depth interviews, and secondary data analysis to identify the internal and external factors affecting MSMEs. The SWOT analysis results indicate that MSMEs in Saung Ciburial Tourism Village possess strengths such as unique local products and strong community support, but also face weaknesses such as limited access to technology and capital. Opportunities that can be leveraged include the increasing interest of tourists in local products and government support for tourism development. Abstract

Ginger is one of the herbal plants that can adapt well in Indonesian soil. This plant is timeless with various benefits and properties for the human body. Many processed foods and drinks are made from ginger, an example of its implementation is Ginger Candy. Ginger candy can be liked by various groups, ranging from children to adults. Candy can be a good medium for consuming this herbal plant. In Kelurahan Cisarua, many business people go into the business world with ginger candy as the main industry. However, most of them choose to order raw materials from outside the city instead of growing ginger independently. Polybag is one alternative to produce effective and efficient ginger raw materials, besides that it can also create jobs for the surrounding community to care for and cultivate ginger plants.
