Abstract

Technological developments that continue to move very quickly, giving birth to various kinds of innovations that can be useful for life. Game is one of the products of computer technology, games that are in great demand and use, such as entertainment, learning media, promotional media and many more. has 34 provinces with a variety of customs and culture in each province. Every province in Indonesia has traditional houses which have their own uniqueness, and therefore it is very unfortunate if Indonesian citizens, especially children, do not know about them. Therefore there must be media that can reach both adults and children in introducing Indonesian customs and culture, especially traditional houses. Therefore a game was made "Educational Game for Various Indonesian Traditional Houses", which aims to be a learning medium by using technology and can also attract children's interest in traditional houses.

Abstract

Subak Sembung is intended to be the keeper of the green lane area and a large water catchment area. Subak Sembung has an area of 103 ha and a tertiary irrigation canal of 5.1 km. Based on the survey results at the study area conducted in July 2022, there are several damage of the buildings and irrigation canals that had an impact on the supply of irrigation water to rice fields, especially for farmers who have downstream rice fields. Irrigation canals damage causes by the uneven water distribution by farmers. The purpose of this study is to repair and improve the function of buildings and irrigation canals therefore they can facilitate irrigation water supply and be able to reach wider agricultural land. This research was conducted using survey and interview method. The results showed that there was 1 (one) building and 4 (four) irrigation channels damage that were disrupted the irrigation water supply, therefore the rehabilitation cost needed would be Rp. 746,243,500,-. The cost is planned for the next 1 (one) year period.

Abstract

The trend of good performance in the manufacturing industry continues to increase in line with high consumer demand. For this reason, the plastic manufacturing industry has to go the extra mile to meet market demand. However, it is constrained by the ability of production machines that risk interfering with product quality. The cutting machine is a plastic production machine at PT. XYZ, functions as a plastic cutter. Has poor performance with high product defects. The research was conducted to determine the factors causing the high product defects on cutting machines at PT. XYZ. This research method uses the DMAIC concept to determine the factors that cause product failure. It was concluded that product failure on cutting machines reached 3422 kg, the DPMO value reached 1335.67 indicating sigma level 4, which means that the quantity of product defects is moderate, the cause of high product defects is due to worn out machine conditions, shortage of spare parts, human error due to workload and lack of supervision. Evaluation and suggestions for minimizing product defects on cutting machines include implementing an apprenticeship system, making SOPs, imposing strict sanctions, tightening supervision, rejuvenating production machines and providing spare parts for production machines. Abstract

Indonesia, as the world's largest archipelagic country, benefits from its unique geographical conditions, making airplanes the most suitable mode of transportation. This is evident from the increasing number of airlines, a notable development in the aviation field, particularly in military aviation, is the advancement of drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). In recent years, there has been rapid technological progress in fixed-wing UAV technology. UAVs are unmanned aircraft that can be remotely controlled by pilots or capable of autonomous flight using aerodynamic principles to generate lift. Fixed-wing UAVs have wings with a fixed configuration. Unmanned aircraft offer several advantages over manned aircraft, including extended airborne endurance with efficient fuel consumption, categorized as Medium Altitude Endurance UAVs (MALE UAVs). These UAVs optimize the Lift-to-Drag ratio (CL/CD) to improve their performance. Currently, unmanned aircraft are being extensively developed for various purposes, such as exploration, reconnaissance, mining, military applications, competitions, and more.

Abstract

Static testing of the propeller is necessary to take into account the amount of thrust generated by the propeller before it is attached to the propulsion system. However, for small-scale static testing, especially on the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) propulsion system, it is still difficult to find. So the purpose of this research is to design and manufacture a static test tool for propeller thrust combined with a DC brushless motor, especially in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) propulsion system. This test tool uses the Arduino Uno Atmega 328 as its microcontroller which is directly integrated with the load cell sensor which functions as the main measuring tool for the amount of thrust generated by the propeller rotation. In the load cell, there is a change in voltage in the strain gauge resulting in a change in resistance, then the results of the change will be read by the HX711 module. The HX711 module will convert the analog signal generated by the load cell into a digital signal, making it easier for Arduino to read data. Measurement results in data from Arduino will be displayed via the 16x2 LCD. This research proposes a simple propeller thrust gauge static test that can measure forces from 0 N to 49 N with an error rate of 0.479%.

Abstract

This case study is situated in a manufacturing company operating in the production of PVC pipes in East Java, where human involvement plays a significant role in the production process. Through observations, numerous production and operational processes were found to pose risks to the safety and health of the workers. The abundance of potential hazards and risks to the safety and health of the workers needs to be reduced by implementing the HIRARC method. This method consists of a series of activities that begin with hazard identification, risk assessment, and the determination of control measures based on collected data. The analysis using the HIRARC method revealed the identification of 24 hazards, with 9 of them categorized as medium risk, and there were 11 types of activities/hazard risks classified as high risk, along with 4 extreme risk situations.

Abstract

The social welfare problems that exist to date have not been fully resolved, marked by the fact that there are still people with social problems. Seeing these problems, creative model formulations are needed in an effort to solve social problems which previously were only done using manual methods characterized by population data collection in a systematic manner. manual, manual delivery of information, weak monitoring of implementation so that it is full of inconsistencies between the order of ideas and implementation, and is unable to raise collective awareness in the community that they are the main actors of change. This research aims to design a management information system for managing RT level data starting from the smallest service level. So this research can support the government in dealing with social problems from the smallest level. The method used in building the system is the design thinking method, starting from empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. The output of the web-based application is in the form of a map feature, valid and up-to-date data, discussion and complaint forums, a cover letter submission feature, information on community activities, then this information will be received by the RT head and the RT neighborhood community and even the central government can get information on community welfare development at this web-based system.

Abstract

In today's digital landscape, social media platforms like TikTok Shop have gained immense popularity as online shopping hubs. This study advocates the utilization of Support Vector Machine (SVM) methodology to assess customer sentiment concerning products available on TikTok Shop. The primary objective is to assess SVM's efficacy in categorizing customer sentiments (positive, negative) based on their responses to product reviews. The research findings revealed a classification accuracy of 78.66%, precision of 78.01%, recall of 99.09%, and an F1 score of 87.30%. While these results showcase a commendable performance, the study recognizes room for improvement. Consequently, further enhancements are recommended, particularly in refining preprocessing techniques for both data and modeling. These additional preprocessing steps are anticipated to significantly enhance sentiment classification accuracy, ensuring more reliable outcomes and providing deeper insights into customer preferences within the realm of online shopping

Abstract

In the cattle fattening business, feed is the main factor determining cattle growth. Providing quality feed is a challenge for ruminant breeders, both large ruminants and small ruminants, especially during the dry season where availability is very limited. Therefore, breeders are required to create other alternatives for providing quality feed, with good shelf life, at lower costs. One application of simple technology that could be a solution is through feed fermentation. This research aims to analyze: the effect of fermented feed on cattle fattening performance. The material used was 15 cows, consisting of 8 imported/foreign crossbreed cattle and 7 local cattle. The location of this fattening process is carried out at the Ibnu Hikam Tani Farmer's Cage, Kulur Sindangkasih Village, Majalengka. The method used is Operational Research (RO). The results of the research showed that by using fermented feed, the increase in body weight (ADG) of foreign breed cattle was 0.5-0.7 kg per day, while the growth of local cattle was 0.5 kg per day. Meanwhile, the average daily feed cost is IDR 20,000-25,000 per day per head. Farmers' perceptions vary regarding the price of feed and feed ingredients. Even though this self-mixed fermented feed is still below SNI standards, it does not reduce the nutritional quality for the nutritional intake needed by ruminants. This research concluded that by using fermented feed, foreign-breed cattle absorb more nutrients than local cattle. So it is recommended to improve feed quality by adding or changing the feed formula currently used.

Abstract

Induction heating is a heating system that uses magnetic field induction generated from high frequencies. This process occurs with the presence of eddy currents or central currents whose circular direction surrounds the magnetic field that penetrates the object. Induction heating uses the principle of heating due to eddy currents produced by magnetic flux originating from coil windings that are electrified by alternating current (AC). Designing an induction heating machine, for the forging process which has the advantage of heating accuracy and a heating temperature that can be adjusted to reach a temperature of 800 ºC with a power of 1300 KW. Induction Heating Machine Design consists of Design Making which includes the frame, required voltage, circuit breaker circuit, power produced, Material Selection, Component Selection and Assembly.
