Abstract

In building a wireless network, it is necessary to have an Access Point device that emits a signal that functions as a data traffic regulator, so that it will allow many clients to connect to each other through the network. This research aims to analyze co-channel interference that affects the performance of the signal emitted by the Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) access point at Mitra Jambi Hospital. Using the Quality of Service (QoS) method, this study evaluates network performance parameters such as Throughput, Packet Loss, Jitter and Packet Loss to identify the impact of interference on signal quality. Data was collected through direct measurements at various locations within the hospital, as well as statistical analysis to determine the relationship between interference levels and signal performance. The results show that co-channel interference significantly degrades signal performance, which negatively impacts user experience, especially in critical situations in a hospital environment.

Abstract

Presensi yang dilakukan dengan manual dirasa kurang efektif penerapannya dalam masa pandemi covid-19. Ini dirasa dapat mengurangi perlindungan kesehatan terhadap pekerja hingga ruang lingkup sekitarnya dikarenakan dilakukan secara langsung dengan menyentuh alat presensi. Sebagai tanggapan dari permasalahan yang dibahas, salah satu caranya adalah dengan merancang sistem presensi face recognition ini. Dengan presensi face recognition ini para orang yang ingin melakukan presensi tidak lagi melakukannya secara manual. Sistem dapat merekam data apabila wajah orang yang melakukan presensi dihadapkan ke kamera. Tak hanya itu, perancangan sistem ini juga bertujuan sebagai landasan dalam mewujudkan perkembangan teknologi pada lingkungan sekitar. Hasil pengujian pada sistem didapatkan bahwa sistem dapat mengenali wajah yang melakukan presensi adalah dengan waktu rata – rata sebesar 1.693 detik dari nilai akurasi yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

Technological developments, especially in the computer sector, have made inventory management an important aspect of running a business, especially retail stores. Nivico Shop is an electronics shop in Jambi that sells various kinds of electronic goods such as light bulbs, electrical cables and so on. The process of recording and monitoring inventory at the Nivico Store is still done manually, namely using books and notes. This method has several weaknesses, such as the possibility of recording errors, difficulty in obtaining the latest inventory reports, and the time required to update the data. In addition, limited information accessibility makes it difficult for owners and staff to make the right decisions regarding the procurement and sale of goods. With increasing market demand and intense competition, an information system is needed that can help Nivico Stores manage inventory more effectively. With this web-based inventory system, it is hoped that it can overcome problems in carrying out the data recording process at the Nivico Store.

Abstract

SMP S Sinar Bijaksana Guang Ming is a private school that prioritizes character education while also emphasizing knowledge and soft skills development. Currently, SMP S Sinar Bijaksana Guang Ming has not yet implemented an effective information system, as the registration process requires parents of prospective students to register directly at the school and return for interviews and entrance exams. Registration data is still stored using Microsoft Excel. This traditional method presents challenges such as delays in data entry, file corruption, and difficulties in generating reports. Therefore, the author feels the need for computerization in the student registration information system to simplify the registration process for prospective students without having to visit the school, and to make the admin's tasks more efficient and effective. To address this issue, the author proposes the design and implementation of a Web-Based Online Registration Information System at SMP S Sinar Bijaksana Guang Ming. The system development method used is the waterfall model. This research produces a web-based online registration information system where administrators can manage and print data related to the gallery, teachers, student registrations, interview results, and written exam results. Parents of prospective students can view information about teaching staffs, school activities, and available facilities, as well as completing the registration process and checking the results of interviews and written exams. Meanwhile, the principal can search for and print reports on student registrations, interview results, and written exam results. Furthermore, this system is expected to provide convenience for all parties, from admins to parents of prospective students, in the registration process and data management.

Abstract

As time progresses, there are many things that can make human life easier to make more efficient. Because the era continues to develop, technological modernization occurs so that humans have no other choice to follow the flow of globalization. One technology that makes it easier for users to carry out their daily activities is Augmented Reality technology. This means that it does not rule out the possibility that this technology can be used as a tool for assistant planners at Jambi City BAPPEDA to apply Augmented Reality technology which can provide more detailed and detailed information. The problem that often occurs is that visualizing exposure is still limited so this is not very effective, usually planners presenting data files in the form of manual presentation files, with augmented reality it can turn information into two-way communication where planners can see and click on information and the application can respond back based on the planner's wishes, it also provides more detailed information in the form of visualization in the form of text, images, videos, as well as 2D and 3D animations. So that planners will more easily and quickly receive the information provided. The Augmented Reality design made by the author uses the waterfall method, where this model is chosen because it is suitable for developing software with specifications that do not change.

Abstract

Sumber Rejeki Jambi is one of business that moves in selling material building at Jambi city where processing data still using books and counting tools. So that problems occur that is difficult to manage and counting transactions sales, the process of making the report buying and selling needs long time and occasionally there are delay, and a stock products sometimes going on with physical stock the warehouse. One of solution that make point of sales application use PHP programming language and DBMS MySQL where writer do development system with the waterfall method and used unified model language system like use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, and flowchart diagram .The new system produce outputs featuring customer data, vendor data, product data, purchasing data, selling data and showing data that needed to ease Sumber Rejeki Jambi in processing data.

Abstract

Abstract− CV. Twinnies Baby Shop, located in Jambi, still applies supplier selection based on subjective leadership decisions. This approach carries the risk of errors in determining suppliers, which could ultimately result in losses for the company. To address this issue, a decision support system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, supported by waterfall development methodology. Designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML), this system provides information on suppliers, admins, criteria, sub-criteria, and supplier evaluation results. Additionally, the system helps determine the best supplier using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). With this system, the supplier selection process becomes more effective, structured, and objective, supporting more accurate decision-making for the company.

Abstract

Mutiara Primarasa Abadi Jambi is a business engaged in bread sales in Jambi City. Currently, its operational processes still rely on manual record-keeping using books and calculators, leading to several issues. These include lengthy report generation due to the need to manually summarize product entry and sales transactions, inaccuracies in inventory records caused by miscalculations of incoming and outgoing data, and potential errors in sales receipts that could result in financial losses for the company. Additionally, difficulties in monitoring the due dates of receivables that need to be collected from customers further complicate operations. As a solution, a point-of-sales application was designed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system. The system development followed the waterfall method and applied a Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and flowchart diagrams. The developed system generates structured outputs such as supplier data, product data, customer data, as well as product entry and sales transaction records. Moreover, the system provides the necessary reports to facilitate PT. Mutiara Primarasa Abadi Jambi in managing data more efficiently.

Abstract

The term "smart campus" refers to the emerging trend of integrating digital and physical infrastructure in higher education institutions to enhance the experiences of students, lecturers, and various stakeholders within the campus environment through multiple approaches. Every university typically has a library, but in most cases, campus libraries still implement conventional borrowing systems, and some universities still rely on manual attendance systems. Therefore, a smart campus prototype was developed to facilitate the attendance process and book borrowing at Universitas Dinamika Bangsa. This prototype includes features for book borrowing and attendance tracking using a smart card system. The method used in developing this prototype is Design Thinking, and Figma is utilized for its design. This smart campus prototype is mobile-based, making the book borrowing and attendance processes more efficient and convenient.

Abstract

Abstract−Singkut District faces problems in managing the creation of certificates (domicile, not married, not having a house, death, business domicile, and marriage introduction). The process is still manual using Microsoft Word, with files stored separately in many folders, making it difficult to find letters by category. Files are not integrated, causing data duplication and slowing down services. This results in residents having to wait a long time, queuing, and not being able to access service information online without coming directly to the administration section. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current system, in order to overcome the problems faced at the Singkut District Office, by designing a Web-Based Population Information System Design in Singkut District. The Research Framework that will be carried out in solving the problems discussed is, conducting identification, conducting information searches based on theoretical foundations, collecting data using observation and interview methods, analyzing to find solutions to the problems faced by the Singkut District Office. The system development method uses the agile development model, the implementation of this research uses the PHP Programming Language and MySQL DBMS. Until it produces a data processing application that is expected to facilitate data processing and report generation
