Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact in various sectors, including the Umrah travel sector. The number of Umrah travel agencies in Jambi City makes it difficult for prospective pilgrims to make choices that suit their needs. Therefore, a Decision Support System (SPK) is needed that can assist in the process of selecting an Umrah travel agency objectively and systematically. This study aims to develop and implement a Decision Support System (DSS) in the selection of Umrah travel agencies in Jambi City using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This system is designed to assist prospective pilgrims in choosing the appropriate Umrah travel agency based on the criteria of legality, facilities, trip duration, reputation, and additional services. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, with a system model designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and the waterfall development method. The results showed that PT Al Mabrur Nadia Insani is the best Umrah travel agency based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) calculations, with the highest score of 0.412, so that the system developed is able to provide objective and systematic recommendations, assist prospective pilgrims in choosing the optimal Umrah travel agency, and provide insight for Umrah travel agencies to improve their services.

Abstract

Waste management is becoming an increasingly pressing global issue, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. Waste that is not managed properly can have various negative impacts on the environment. This condition is increasingly challenging, especially at the regional level, where management agencies often do not have adequate tools to analyze data comprehensively. The available data is often only stored in raw formats, such as spreadsheet files or manual reports. This not only hinders rapid analysis but also has the potential to cause errors in data interpretation. An interactive dashboard based on information technology using the Power BI platform is one relevant approach to addressing this problem which is expected to increase efficiency in data analysis and provide deeper insights through intuitive visualization. The results of this study present an interactive dashboard where waste management data can be arranged and visualized dynamically. Based on the visualized data, the largest total waste generation was found in East Java province with a total daily waste accumulation of 68.67 K with the largest average volume of waste being household waste and the largest waste composition being food waste, then the largest total managed waste was found in East Java province with a total of 14.56 M managed waste and 119.15% the highest recycling rate. The largest green open space was also found in East Java province with a green open space area of ​​1.39 M. Data from the Dashboard is expected to be useful for users, both from the government, companies, and the community, to be able to understand trends and main indicators of waste management quickly and accurately.

Abstract

In today's modern era, awareness of the importance of a healthy diet and balanced nutritional consumption is increasing. However, people are still faced with the problem of a lack of understanding of the nutritional content of various types of food consumed daily. Therefore, an in-depth analysis of the nutritional content of food is an important step to provide accurate information that can be used by individuals, nutritionists, and the food industry. Information about this content can help individuals and institutions, such as nutritionists and the food industry. Nutrition in food plays an important role in maintaining health, this project aims to analyze the nutritional content of various types of food using the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) database as the main data source. The data is then visualized in the form of an interactive dashboard to facilitate interpretation of the information. In the analysis process, the data is cleaned and processed using structured data management techniques. The results of this analysis are in the form of visualizations that display comparisons of nutritional content between food groups and understand nutritional patterns in more depth.

Abstract

In the digital era, the existence of a web-based information system is one of the important needs for local governments in providing services to the community. Information systems can also play a role in helping to improve operational efficiency, support business innovation, and accelerate decision making. One of the applications of the information system is the Parto.id website. Parto.id is a marketplace based on Business to Government (B2G) and Business to Business (B2B) which facilitates the implementation of e-purchasing of Procurement of Goods and Services whose main users are the government. The phenomenon of excessive purchasing on the Parto.id website in the Jambi Provincial Regional Government Organization environment can cause various significant problems. One of them is the waste of regional budget, especially if the purchase is not fully in accordance with the needs or its use is not optimal. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence user satisfaction and identify the obstacles experienced by users based on the dimensions of webqual 4.0. The focus variables measured include Usability, Information Quality, Service Interaction Quality and User Satisfaction. for Data collection is done by questionnaire, then the validity and reliability test of the data will be carried out, as well as the Hypothesis test using SmartPLS 4. The results of the study show that the website used is said to be very good with the value of the R-Square correlation of the User Satisfaction variable of 96.1%.

Abstract

Information System Strategic Planning (ISSP) is a crucial step for companies to enhance operational efficiency, support business goal achievement, and create a competitive advantage. PT Scafol Technology Indonesia, a company engaged in construction technology, faces challenges in integrating information systems and information technology (IS/IT) to improve business process effectiveness and service quality. Currently, the company still relies on manual processes in several operational aspects, leading to inefficiencies and potential errors in data management and decision-making. Therefore, this study aims to develop a strategic information system plan using the Ward & Peppard method to address the company’s challenges. The results of this study produce an IS/IT strategy blueprint that PT Scafol Technology Indonesia can utilize to optimize business processes and enhance the effectiveness of technology-based construction project management. Abstract

The utilization of technology and competency development in the current era serve as a foundation for the development of the Merdeka Curriculum. Schools and teachers need to prepare themselves thoroughly, starting from understanding the structure of independent study programs, assessment, learning outcomes, and learning objectives, to the implementation of projects and other aspects. This can be achieved through participation in teacher or school mobilization activities.The government supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Vocational High Schools (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan - SMK) by providing teaching materials such as textbooks and supplementary resources, training, and learning sources for educators through the Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) application, which can be accessed via laptops or mobile phones.The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, promoted by the Indonesian government, encourages innovation in the learning process, particularly through the use of information and communication technology. The Platform Merdeka Mengajar serves as a solution to support a more flexible and student-centered educational transformation.State Vocational High Schools (SMK Negeri) in Kota Jambi, as vocational education institutions, have adopted this platform in an effort to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze the level of user satisfaction with the Platform Merdeka Mengajar application in SMK Negeri in Kota Jambi using the UTAUT model. Specifically, this research will identify the factors influencing teachers' intention to use the application and measure their satisfaction with the available features.Based on the analysis conducted, it can be concluded that out of the five hypotheses developed, the accepted hypotheses are Performance Expectancy (H1), Effort Expectancy (H2), and Behavioral Intention (H5). Meanwhile, the rejected hypotheses are Social Influence (H3) and Facilitating Conditions (H4).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of the C4.5 and Naive Bayes algorithms in the selection of majors at SMK Negeri 6 Batanghari. The comparison between the C4.5 and Naive Bayes algorithms is carried out because of the effectiveness and accuracy in decision making. The C4.5 method as a decision tree algorithm provides a clear and easy-to-understand interpretation of the decisions taken, while Naive Bayes with its probabilistic approach is often faster and more efficient in handling large datasets. From the results of the analysis carried out, this study revealed that the two algorithms have different characteristics and performance in classifying student interest data. The C4.5 algorithm based on decision trees tends to be easier to interpret because it produces clear decision rules, while Naive Bayes based on probability has advantages in handling data uncertainty

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of K-Means and K-Medoids algorithms in measuring the level of student satisfaction with academic services at the Islamic Institute of Mamba'ul Ulum Jambi. Student satisfaction data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using both algorithms with the help of RapidMiner tools. Clustering results were evaluated using the Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) to determine the most optimal algorithm. The results showed that most students at the Islamic Institute of Mamba'ul Ulum Jambi were very satisfied with the academic services provided. Clustering with K-Means and K-Medoids successfully grouped students into three clusters: "Very Satisfied", "Satisfied", and "Unsatisfied". The K-Means algorithm produced clusters with 450 members ("Very Satisfied"), 351 members ("Satisfied"), and 218 members ("Unsatisfied"). Meanwhile, K-Medoids produced clusters with 638 members ("Very Satisfied"), 270 members ("Satisfied"), and 111 members ("Unsatisfied"). Based on the DBI value, the K-Medoids algorithm (0.222) showed better performance than K-Means (0.396) in clustering student satisfaction data. This study has important implications for the Islamic Institute of Mamba'ul Ulum Jambi in evaluating and improving academic services

Abstract

This study analyzes book borrowing transaction data from the Jambi University Library to identify borrowing patterns and extract valuable insights. By utilizing the FP-Growth algorithm within the framework of association rules, the research aims to uncover frequent itemset patterns that reveal relationships between different categories of borrowed books. These patterns are crucial for supporting librarians in making informed decisions for effective library management. The dataset consists of 2,978 book borrowing transactions recorded in 2022. Using Python for computational analysis, the study identified 14 association rules by applying a minimum support threshold of 0.005 and a minimum confidence threshold of 0.1. The resulting association rules include the following pairs: Management and Economics (0.006), Agriculture and Economics (0.014), Psychology and Education (0.013), General Works and Education (0.026), Mathematics and Education (0.005), Mathematics and Science (0.006), Mathematics and Economics (0.006), Social Sciences and Law (0.007), Politics and Law (0.012), Politics and Social Sciences (0.005), and Fiction and Language (0.005). These association rules offer valuable insights that can assist librarians in optimizing the organization of book collections, prioritizing acquisitions, and making strategic decisions to enhance the quality of library services. This approach highlights the potential of data-driven decision-making to improve library operations and increase user satisfaction.

Abstract

Otoxpert Jambi is one of the companies operating in the automotive sector with a focus on light service or quick service. Whereas in the current system, there are several issues in acquiring new customers, improving relationships with customers, and retaining customers. Based on the existing problems at Otoxpert Jambi, there is a need for a web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that can help both Otoxpert Jambi and its customers build good relationships. The purpose of this research is to analyze the service relationship between the company and customers and to design a web-based Electronic Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) system to create a better relationship between the company and customers through features on the website. The author conducted object-oriented design, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, interface design, database structure tables, and interface implementation. The result of this research is the implementation of a web-based E-CRM system that can help resolve issues, particularly those related to customer service at Otoxpert Jambi, so that the E-CRM can function effectively.
