Abstract

− The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of user satisfaction on the Sipenmaru portal at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi, addressing common issues such as difficulties in accessing the portal, system overload, and inaccuracies in information. These problems highlight the need for a thorough evaluation of the quality of the system, information, and services provided. By adopting the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model and DeLone and McLean's model, this study focuses on identifying factors that influence user satisfaction and how that satisfaction affects the effectiveness of using the Sipenmaru portal. The model includes six main variables: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, timeliness, and user satisfaction, which are integrated with DeLone and McLean's information system success model. As part of the methodology, a questionnaire was distributed to 210 respondents, and the collected data were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method with the help of SmartPLS software. Significant factors influencing user satisfaction include accuracy, format, ease of use, timeliness, information quality, and service quality. To enhance user satisfaction and the effectiveness of using the Sipenmaru portal, it is recommended to optimize the system, improve information quality, and regularly enhance technical services.

Abstract

At-Taqwa Mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. In processing the cash data, there are problems because the mosque's cash bookkeeping still uses paper so that damage or loss of data can occur and can only be accessed by one person. The data search process takes a long time because cash data is written into the book. Experiencing difficulties in making reports. The purpose of this study is to analyse the current system, in order to overcome the problems faced at the At-Taqwa Mosque, by designing a Web-Based At-Taqwa Mosque Cash Data Processing System Design. The research framework that will be carried out in solving the problems discussed, namely, identifying, searching for information based on theoretical foundations, collecting data using observation and interview methods, analysing to find solutions to the problems faced by the At-Taqwa Mosque. The system development method uses the waterfall model, the implementation of this research uses the PHP programming language and MySQL DBMS. To produce data processing applications that are expected to facilitate data processing and report generation.

Abstract

Abstract− The public complaint system is an important medium in accommodating aspirations, criticisms, and complaints from the public regarding public services. However, the complaint process at the Industry and Trade Service of North Sumatra Province is still carried out manually, making it less effective and efficient in terms of recording, monitoring, and following up on complaints. This study aims to analyze the needs and design an Android-based mobile application system for the Public Complaints Unit to facilitate the process of submitting and handling complaints. The system development method used is Waterfall, with design tools in the form of UML (Unified Modeling Language) such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The results of this study are a complaint application design that can help improve the quality of public services by providing a structured complaint flow, documented complaint data storage, and follow-up notifications to users.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to use Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) techniques to assess operational risk management at Hj. Ida Kos-Kosan. Ida Kos-Kosan. Risks that may disrupt the operation of the boarding house are identified, evaluated, and managed using the ERM process. Direct observation and management interviews were used as data collection methods in this descriptive qualitative research. The findings show that there are five main risks: unauthorized entry of foreigners, damage to boarding facilities, tenants who do not pay rent, product theft, and maintenance delays. Risk scores were calculated as a basis for setting the priority level of handling after each risk was evaluated based on its impact (Severity) and likelihood of occurrence (Occurrence). Late payment of rent has the largest risk score, indicating the need for stricter payment rules and procedures. ERM implementation works well to provide a methodical framework for the process of identifying and managing operational risks. Therefore, ERM can be a useful tool for boarding house managers who want to improve the sustainability and efficiency of the company.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membandingkan algoritma Naive Bayes dan K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) dalam klasifikasi email menggunakan fitur TF-IDF. Dataset terdiri atas 5.572 email yang diproses melalui pelatihan dan evaluasi model dengan validasi silang 5-fold. Metode evaluasi mencakup akurasi, precision, recall, F1-score, dan ROC/AUC. Hasil menunjukkan Naive Bayes unggul dengan akurasi 98,38% dan AUC 0,98 dibandingkan KNN yang mencapai akurasi 92,47% dan AUC 0,82. Naive Bayes lebih stabil dalam recall pada kelas spam (89%), sementara KNN memiliki precision sempurna (100%) namun rendah recall (44%).

Abstract

Penyakit jantung adalah gangguan yang terjadi pada sistem pembuluh pembuluh darah besar yang menyebabkan organ vital makhluk hidup tidak berfungsi dengan baik. Seiring berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan, kasus tentang prediksi penderita penyakit jantung dapat diselesaikan menggunakan teknik data mining. Dalam proses diagnosa masalah yang sering kali terjadi adalah kurangnya akurasi pada proses klasifikasi. Untuk mengukur tingkat akurasi pada dataset dapat dilakukan dengan teknik klasifikasi. Penelitian ini akan melakukan klasifikasi pada dataset penyakit jantung yang diperoleh dari situs Kaggle dengan mengetahui kombinasi setiap atribut pada dataset dan kemudian melakukan perhitungan untuk mengetahui tingkat akurasi pada dataset menggunakan teknik klasifikasi data mining dengan menggunakan algoritma C5.0. Hasil tingkat akurasi prediksi algoritma C5.0 menggunakan tools RapidMiner pada data penyakit jantung dengan jumlah 918 data yang mempunyai 12 atribut, yaitu Penderita Penyakit Jantung (Heart Disease), Usia (Age), Jenis Kelamin (Sex), Jenis Sakit Dada (Chest Pain Type), Tekanan Darah Saat Istirahat (Resting Blood Pressure), Kolesterol (Cholesterol), Gula Darah (Fasting Blood Sugar), Hasil Elektrokardiografi Saat Istirahat (Resting ECG), Detak Jantung Maksimum (Max Heart Rate), Latihan Diinduksi Angina (exercise angina), oldpeak, ST Slope.

Abstract

Cooking activities are part of the daily routine, especially for housewives. However, incidents of kitchen fires frequently occur due to forgotten actions such as falling to turn off the stove or undetected leaks in Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) systems. This project aims to provide an early warning system to prevent LPG gas leaks in residental areas, particularly where public awareness and timely detection are still lacking. The proposed device integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technology to enable real-time monitoring. The methodology employed in this study utilizes a mamdany fuzzy logic algorithm, in which the degree of truth is determined based on weighted values. This research is expected to contribute in public knowledge and serve as a preventive measure of households in anticipating gas leak-induced fires. Additionally, the system aims to support firefighters and family members by providing an efficient early warning mechanism.

Abstract

Sign language recognition plays a vital role in facilitating communication for individuals with hearing impairments. This study proposes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model trained to recognize patterns in sign language images with the aim of improving the accuracy and efficiency of sign language recognition systems. The model was trained in two stages with the first training session achieving a validation accuracy of around 63%, while the second training session yielded an impressive validation accuracy exceeding 92% at epoch 29. This significant improvement demonstrates the model’s ability to effectively learn and generalize complex patterns in sign language images, signaling its potential for practical applications in sign language interpretation. The high accuracy achieved by the CNN model demonstrates its suitability for use in a variety of real-world scenarios, such as assistive technology for the deaf community or automation systems requiring hand gesture recognition. Thus, the trained CNN model has the potential to be a valuable tool in improving the accessibility and efficiency of communication for individuals who rely on sign language.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a rainfall prediction model using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach with the backpropagation learning algorithm on the Matlab platform. Rainfall prediction is an important aspect in agriculture, hydrology, and water resources management, which requires accurate and adaptive methods to seasonal data patterns. In this study, monthly rainfall data for Bogor City for the period 2020-2022 was used as the training and testing dataset. The data was normalized using the sigmoid activation function to improve the network training performance. The network architecture consists of 12 input neurons, 10 hidden neurons, and 1 output neuron. The training results showed an error rate (Mean Squared Error) of 0.00090677 with a regression value of 0.99022, while the test results produced a regression of 0.98837. These findings indicate that the backpropagation method in ANN is able to predict rainfall effectively and accurately. This model can be further developed to predict other weather phenomena.

Abstract

Saat ini pada Rich Chicken belum menerapkan sistem informasi yang tepat, sehingga kegiatan jual-beli tidak dapat dilakukan dengan efektif dan efisien. Aktivitas yang dilakukan pada Rich Chicken dibantu dengan komputer dan sistem informasi yang masih belum terintegrasi. Sehingga dalam pengaksesan data Rich Chicken masih belum efisien, selain itu dengan sistem pengolahan data yang digunakan saat ini menyebabkan data dan informasi yang dibutuhkan tidak tepat pada waktunya karena sulitnya pegaksesan data dan informasi. Untuk itu perlu dibuat perancangan arsitektur enterpise menggunakan TOGAF ADM .TOGAF ADM merupakan salah satu metode yang bisa digunakan untuk melakukan perancangan arsitektur enterprise. Setiap tahapan pada TOGAF ADM dapat dilakukan secara benar apabila proses bisnis yang ada di dalam organisasi benar-benar harus dipahami dan mampu di identifikasi secara lengkap dan benar. Pemodelan arsitektur enterprise ini, memberikan panduan dalam membuat cetak biru untuk pengembangan sistem informasi untuk data, aplikasi, bisnis, dan teknologi.
