Abstract

Ransomware is a type of malware that encrypts a victim's data and demands a ransom payment for its decryption. These attacks can cause significant financial losses, disrupt business operations, and compromise sensitive data. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the mechanisms of ransomware and implement appropriate preventive measures. Preventive Measures against Ransomware Attacks; First, strengthen infrastructure security: Implement best practices such as firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption to safeguard systems. Second, enhance employee security awareness: Provide cybersecurity training to employees to help them identify and avoid ransomware threats. third, maintain comprehensive and up-to-date data backups: Regularly back up data to ensure its recovery in the event of an attack. Forth, promptly update software and operating systems: Apply software and OS updates to patch security vulnerabilities. By adopting these measures, individuals and organizations can significantly enhance their cybersecurity posture and mitigate the risk of ransomware attacks

Abstract

Kedaung Wetan 6 SDN today still relies on a manual system in managing academic data, which often poses barriers such as inaccurate data, slow processes, and difficulties in accessing information. The research aims to design and develop web-based academic information systems that are more efficient and effective in addressing such problems. The system development adopted the Scrum method using PHP technology, framework CodeIgniter (CI) and MYSQL. With Scrum, the system development was gradually carried out in short sprints, enabling the team to adapt to changing needs and deliver faster results. The academic information system produced is expected to include features such as student data management, teacher data, student ratings and absences. Thus, this system will be expected to improve the efficiency of the work of teachers and administrative staff, facilitate access to information for all stakeholders, and improve the quality of educational services in SDN Kedaung Wetan 6

Abstract

ABSTRAK Jutaan penggemar sepak bola di Indonesia setia mengikuti pertandingan dan mendukung tim kesayangan mereka. Sepak bola adalah olahraga yang sangat populer di negara itu. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana inovasi seperti Video Assistant Referee (VAR) telah ditambahkan untuk meningkatkan akurasi keputusan wasit, dan bagaimana teknologi ini memengaruhi berbagai faktor, termasuk kualitas keputusan wasit, durasi pertandingan, dan fair play. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan literatur dari berbagai sumber, seperti artikel ilmiah, dan laporan resmi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun ada kekhawatiran mengenai perpanjangan durasi pertandingan. VAR dapat meningkatkan akurasi keputusan wasit Namun, masalah infrastruktur dan kesiapan teknis masih perlu diselesaikan.Studi ini menemukan bahwa meskipun VAR meningkatkan keadilan dan mengurangi kesalahan, diperlukan perbaikan dalam infrastruktur dan pelatihan untuk memaksimalkan manfaatnya di sepak bola Indonesia.

Abstract

Satria Jayanti Driving Course is a driving school that has several branches in Jakarta with a considerable number of students. However, in its business processes, payment recording and payment reporting are still done using notebooks without any computerization. The frequent challenges faced by Satria Jayanti Driving Course are the manual payment management process, which often leads to errors in recording both student names and payment amounts, and the inefficient storage of payment receipts because they take up a lot of space. Payment data is often difficult to find when searching for old student payment records. Monthly transaction report creation becomes slow because previous transactions have to be reviewed again. If this continues, the inefficient business process will make customers feel uncomfortable. Therefore, to address the above issues, Satria Jayanti Driving Course needs a payment information system that can manage payments effectively. In this case, the author suggests developing a web-based payment information system using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and a system development method with Rapid Application Development (RAD).

Abstract

This research aims to design a food promotion information system at Samula Coffee & Eatery to increase sales in the culinary industry. Despite having good branding on social media, Samula Coffee & Eatery faces issues with products that are not popular and not well-known by customers. The information system developed using the linear sequential method aims to effectively introduce featured menus, promotions, and other information to customers. This system uses HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL to create an interactive and user-friendly interface. The database design uses MySQL, while the website interface is designed to facilitate information access for customers. System implementation involves development, testing, user training, as well as continuous evaluation and improvement. Testing using the black-box testing method ensures that all features function according to specifications. The research results show that this information system can improve operational efficiency and product appeal at Samula Coffee & Eatery. Customers can easily access the latest information about menus and promotions and provide feedback that helps improve services. This system is expected to increase sales and customer satisfaction and serve as a reference for the development of similar information systems in other culinary industries.

Abstract

The advancement of technology and digitalization has driven companies, including office supplies stores like Toko Qiran Shop, to adopt web-based information systems. However, many office supplies stores still face challenges in optimizing their sales systems, particularly in implementing efficient web-based sales information systems. The main obstacles include the use of manual methods such as written records and worksheets in the sales process. This impacts the likelihood of registration errors, inaccurate calculations, and delays in transactions. Furthermore, inconsistencies in office supplies stock and a lack of customer complaint handling also lead to customer dissatisfaction. To overcome these challenges, this study applies SWOT analysis. This method helps identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats affecting business performance, such as Toko Qiran Shop. SWOT analysis assists in formulating effective improvement strategies. The primary objective of the study is to design an efficient web-based sales information system. It is anticipated that this system will enhance operational efficiency, better manage inventory, process transactions swiftly, and provide improved customer service. In an era of intensifying competition, the implementation of web-based sales information systems becomes crucial for Toko Qiran Shop's success. With the right technology, the store can meet customer expectations, navigate market changes, and remain relevant in the everevolving industry.

Abstract

The crack detection system on brick material is an important application in the maintenance of building infrastructure. Cracks in bricks can lead to a decline in the quality and safety of building structures. This study proposes the use of computer vision technology to automatically detect cracks in bricks. The methods employed include image capture of bricks using a camera, image processing to enhance image quality, and the application of machine learning algorithms to classify the condition of the bricks. The results of this research demonstrate that the proposed system can detect cracks with high accuracy, providing an efficient solution for monitoring the condition of building materials.

Abstract

Case files are very important documents in the Palangka Raya District Attorney's Office which currently still applies conventional systems such as writing a combination of letters and numbers on physical archive files using Microsoft Excel. The unorganized archive storage space and the large number of case files that have not been computerized cause employees to have difficulty finding the case files when needed by the Prosecutor. This study aims to design and build a general criminal case file archiving system at the Kejaksaan Negeri Palangka Raya. This information system is made web-based using PHP language and MySQL database to replace the existing manual archiving method. Based on the results of the questionnaire responses, 82.5% of this system provides convenience in archiving and retrieving general criminal case files needed by the Prosecutor.

Abstract

Effective assessment of learning outcomes is a crucial component of the educational process. In this study, a **Computer-Based Test (CBT)** system was developed as an alternative method for assessing learning outcomes at **SMP Islam Al Amin**, Cikarang Utara. The study aims to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and objectivity of assessments while facilitating the use of technology in learning. The research methodology involved designing and developing a computer-based test tailored to the school's curriculum. The results showed that the CBT system successfully enhanced the efficiency of assessments, provided rapid feedback, and improved the technological skills of both students and teachers. The implementation of this system proved to be an effective alternative compared to traditional assessment methods.

Abstract

The popularity of digital payments using electronic money is increasing in Indonesia along with the growth of the financial technology (fintech) industry. Currently, the fastest growing and most widely used digital wallet applications in Indonesia are Dana, Ovo, and Go-Pay. The purpose of this study was to determine the user experience of Dana, Ovo, and Go-pay digital wallets using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and the SPPS 25 analysis tool. This study uses a quantitative method, the sample in this study was 100 students who used digital wallets who were selected by purposive sampling. The data collection instrument used the UEQ questionnaire consisting of 26 questions grouped into 6 measurement scales. The results of the study showed that the three applications received positive UEQ scores on all measurement scales. The Go-pay application received the highest score on the Efficiency and Dependability scales. While the highest scores for the Ovo and Dana applications were on the Attractiveness and Perpicuity scales, respectively. In general, the user experience of the three applications is considered good, but there are still several aspects that need to be improved, such as the appearance of the interface, the smoothness of the transaction process, and supporting features
