Abstract

SIPLO is an Integrated Information System for Study Program Services that contains academic data of students, lecturers, and data from study programs. This system has features to make it easier for users to upload new data. However, its complex appearance makes it difficult to access via the mobile website. This study aims to redesign the user interface to suit student needs and improve the user experience of the SIPLO mobile website. The Design Thinking method is used with data sources from usability testing and in-depth interviews. The result is a new design for the SIPLO mobile website that gets a SUS score of 82.6 in the excellent category.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the way people shop from traditional methods to electronic trading systems or E-Commerce. This change is further driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, which makes people turn to online shopping for their daily needs. This study aims to evaluate the role of marketing information systems in supporting customer loyalty on e-commerce platforms. The research uses the literature review method to analyze various literatures related to E-Commerce, marketing information systems, customer loyalty, and content personalization. The results show that marketing information systems play an important role in content personalization, product recommendations, and loyalty programs, which increase customer engagement and loyalty. The system also enables more responsive decision-making and improves operational efficiency. Effective implementation of marketing information systems can provide a more personalized and relevant experience for consumers, thereby increasing customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

Abstract

In previous research conducted by (Saputro & Seru, 2023) titled "Design of an Indonesian-Sentani Dictionary Application Based on Android," it was shown that the application is functioning according to the design that was made. However, the application still has a fundamental drawback, which is that it can only be accessed using Android smartphones. This deficiency is considered necessary to be developed and improved to produce a more perfect language application. The purpose of this research is to develop the previous application, which is still Android-based, into a web-based application. The method used in this research is the Research & Development (R&D) method. The R&D method was chosen because the application being developed is an enhancement of an existing application. The stages of this method are data collection, coding design, and testing. The results of this research show that the developed website is functioning according to the designed layout, the website is capable of displaying Indonesian-Sentani words and vice versa, and the website also has a sound feature that can convert text to speech.

Abstract

The digital age has had a significant impact through advancements in sensor technology, internet connectivity, and growing storage capacity, giving rise to the phenomenon of Big Data. In this landscape of abundant information, data processing and analysis become challenges that require effective solutions. This article explains the importance of Big Data Analytics in the context of Information Systems, where the presence of Big Data is not only a necessity but also an opportunity to gain deep insights from the ever-growing data. Proper data processing is crucial to uncovering the value of Big Data, involving comprehensive data analysis and machine learning training. The integration of sensor technology, internet connectivity, advanced storage, and intelligent data processing forms the basis for advancements in the Big Data Analytics domain. This research aims to explore the utilization of Big Data Analytics in improving the performance of Information Systems. Through a conceptual foundation and literature review, this article presents the theoretical basis that supports the research. The practical implementation of Big Data Analytics is described to illustrate how this technology can be realistically applied to optimize Information Systems. The research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to identify, evaluate, and interpret related research. An in-depth literature review, secondary data collection and analysis, and examination of ideas and models related to governance and corporate strategy were the focus of the research. The results and discussion highlight the critical role of Big Data Analytics and information systems in the Big Data era, emphasizing effective integration as the key to optimizing results. This article is expected to contribute to the development of an increasingly dynamic information,paradigm.

Abstract

Laptop is one of the important objects needed by the general public to facilitate productivity such as educational activities and work activities. Laptops are portable computer devices used by humans, especially students, to significantly increase educational productivity through education-based software. Even so, to buy a laptop that suits your needs is sometimes a difficult thing because in this era there are many laptop brands with high specifications and varying prices. A Decision Support System (DSS) is a tool used to assist decision making by a decision maker. Decisions generated by SPK are usually fast and quantitatively the best choice based on the weight of the criteria given by management. With SPK, complex decision-making processes can be completed more efficiently. The TOPSIS method is a multicriteria decision-making technique based on the principle that the best alternative is the one that has the closest distance to the positive ideal solution and at the same time has the greatest distance from the negative ideal solution. With the TOPSIS method, it is expected that the assessment will be more accurate because it is based on predetermined criteria values and weights. The benefit of this research is the creation of an application website that can facilitate users in choosing Lenovo laptop devices on Tokopedia e-commerce that suit their needs. The results showed that calculations using the TOPSIS method carried out in Excel and those in the system had the same results, so the website created had been successfully implemented in accordance with the TOPSIS formula. The results of this research show that the laptop that gets the 1st rank is the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 14IMH9 laptop with a value of 1, ranked 2 Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 14IRH8 with a value of 0.7468, ranked 3 Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 14IRL8 with a value of 0, 6788, ranked 4 Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5i 12IRU8 with a value of 0.5784, ranked 5 Lenovo IdeaPad Slim3i 14IAU7 with a value of 0.4235, and ranked 6 is Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 1 14IGL7 with a value of 0.3229.

Abstract

This study aims to design an enterprise architecture using TOGAF ADM for CV Sarana Wedding Organizer. The methodology used is qualitative with a literature study and theoretical analysis approach. Data collection was conducted through observation and interviews. The results show that the implementation of TOGAF ADM can provide structured guidance in developing integrated information systems. The research produced an architectural planning that includes the preliminary phase, architecture vision, business architecture, information systems architecture, technology architecture, and opportunities and solutions. This architectural design is expected to assist CV Sarana Wedding in digital transformation and improving its business operational efficiency.

Abstract

Nowadays, the use of technology is crucial in implementing school administration activities. Likewise with the implementation of administration at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hubbul Wathon Sangatta. Which is supported by computers, laptops and internet networks. However, current use of technology is only limited to the use of individual computers and is not yet integrated with each other, so it can slow down data access. One form of solution to this problem is the creation of an Enterprise Information System (EIS), which is an information system to integrate and automate business processes in a company so that administrative processes can run more quickly. In this study, the researcher aims to try to offer a solution to this problem by recommending a system design that will become a blueprint for the information system at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hubbul Wathon. The enterprise architecture design uses the Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method (TOGAF ADM), which is a framework commonly used in the design and management of information architecture which is expected to make administration implementation at MTs Hubbul Wathon run more efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a framework that helps organizations integrate business strategies with information technology. Two popular frameworks in EA implementation are TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and the Zachman Framework. This study aims to analyze the comparison between the TOGAF and Zachman frameworks, especially in the context of EA implementation in organizations. The methods applied in this study include literature studies and comparative analysis based on several important aspects, such as structure, focus, similarities, and implementation. The results of the study show that TOGAF focuses more on processes and continuous development, while Zachman emphasizes a more detailed classification framework and statistics. Both frameworks have their respective advantages; TOGAF excels in supporting innovation and adaptation, while Zachman is suitable for data consistency and consistency. By understanding these differences and advantages, organizations can choose the framework that best suits their needs and goals. This article is expected to provide insight for practitioners and researchers in determining an effective EA implementation strategy.

Abstract

In practice, the final assignment guidance process does not always run smoothly, there are several obstacles that can cause the guidance process to not run smoothly, such as time and place constraints, namely where students and supervisors cannot always meet face to face to conduct guidance, there are also times when students want to do guidance but the guidance form is left behind or lost, and this is very disturbing because the guidance form is a record of the progress of compiling a final assignment which is a requirement for eligibility to advance to the trial, if these obstacles continue then there is a possibility that students will be hampered in compiling the final assignment. Time and place constraints can actually be overcome by utilizing email and chat messenger, but in terms of recording it remains an obstacle because it is not recorded in the guidance form. In this study, the author designed and implemented an application that can help with the above problems by creating an android-based application in which students and supervisors can interact and there are also recommendations for trials and final assignment grades for examiners

Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) system that is capable of monitoring temperature and light intensity in real-time through the SmartLife application. The system consists of sensor nodes equipped with temperature and light intensity sensors, a gateway for collecting data, and a central server for data storage and analysis. Test results show that the developed WSN system has a high level of accuracy with an average deviation of less than 2%, high reliability with a data loss rate of less than 1%, and energy efficiency that allows continuous operation with battery power sources. The collected data is analyzed to understand patterns of changes in temperature and light intensity under various environmental conditions. The implementation of the smartlife application allows users to monitor data in real-time and provides valuable information for various environmental monitoring applications. The conclusion of this research shows that WSN is an effective and efficient solution for monitoring temperature and light intensity in smartlife and environmental monitoring applications.
