Abstract

The company implements a system to monitor the quality of production results in order to obtain product quality standards that are able to challenge business competition locally and outside the region. The company's standardized product defect target is a maximum of 5% of the total production target in 1 month. When the production defect value reaches a defective quality value above 5%, it will tighten the production target and increase the production volume to obtain the desired amount. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to analyze using the Six Sigma Quality Control Method. From this study, the p control map was obtained, it can be seen that the proportion of defects is within the control limits, only in the proportion of December 2022 production control which is above the normal limit of 0.0578 from 0.0571. The most dominant type of defect is paint spots due to dust with 26% of the defect value because it has the highest percentage value with the control chart calculation which is still at the value of the proportion of defects under the control limit. The cause of the high defect rate is due to human negligence, material selection, method use, and machine maintenance

Abstract

PD. Rumah Potong Hewan Surabaya is a regionally owned company that operates in abattoir services. This company has a Commercial Unit that has existed for the past 10 years. . This variety of raw meat reaches 150 types of meat and beef innards which are never lacking in demand. Demand is always increasing, making the company maintain Cold Storage temperature conditions so as not to cause damage to the meat. The company will plan a routine maintenance schedule and will invest in a Sankool Cold Storage machine with a price of IDR 200,000,000 and an economic life of 10 years. The results of the analysis obtained by planning scheduling using the Preventive Maintenance method, namely the optimal interval for maintenance of cooling fan components is once every 9 days. The value of the reliability level that was successfully achieved was 61.67%. The results of data processing also show a decrease in costs before the proposal of IDR 17,000,000, and after the proposal of IDR 11,943,732 per year, or a decrease in costs of IDR 5,056,268 or 29%.

Abstract

PT. ABC is an industrial company that produces hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen Peroxide can be used as a bleaching agent in various industries such as paper mills and textile factories. However, PT.ABC still often experiences delays in the process of completing orders so that orders are not on time when the product will be sent to consumers with delays in completing orders that often occur can result in a decrease in consumer confidence in the company, even with these events it can create a great opportunity for competing companies, where consumers will choose to move to competing companies. Where this research raises this problem to seek solutions so that there are no more delays and can meet demand targets. With this problem the problem is formulated how many employees are optimal for completing order requests and also how much workload they receive in doing the work. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of workload and also determine the optimal number of employees. The method used in this study is Work Sampling and Work Load Analysis (WLA). From the results of calculating the standard time for making hydrogen peroxide, the standard time is 7.13 minutes/unit. from the results of the calculation of the average workload received by employees that is equal to 105.6%. To meet the target customer demand, employees are required to work overtime for 1 hour 8 minutes/day and are given additional overtime incentives, but by increasing their output by 25% of the initial output, so the company does not lose out by providing additional incentives to employees

Abstract

Fulfilling production demand is a must for any manufacturing industry anywhere, in this case the company wants to increase the production capacity of elastic machine A, where during production the target has never been met, this is due to limited machine capacity, with a percentage of 71.6% in meeting production targets and an overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) value or machine effectiveness of 71.2%. To increase this capacity is influenced by the spinning speed on the machine, the faster the rotation, the faster the production, to speed up the rotation, it is necessary to modify the transmission system, changing the pulley in the transmission system can affect the speed, the pulley size is changed from 110mm to 120mm which causes the spinning speed to increase so that the machine capacity increases, the percentage of production results after modification is 96.9% and increases the percentage of OEE value to 95.16%.

Abstract

In 2022 the government in Blitar Regency reduces the amount of subsidized chemical fertilizers again, this has been done for several years by the central government. The main goal is to replace chemical fertilizers with organic fertilizers. However, the lack of government assistance for the use of organic fertilizers causes farmers to suffer losses due to crop failure or crop yields that are far from expectations. This causes the cost of rice production to increase while the quality and weight decrease. The farmer movement in Papungan Village has created a nutritional formula that can replace chemical fertilizers without reducing crop quality and also requires a large amount of money to make these nutrients. This study uses the full costing method which calculates all the cost elements incurred by farmers who use chemical fertilizers and those who use nutrients. Then see if there is an average growth equation if the two are compared using the T-Test method. The results obtained from the calculation of the cost of production can be used as a reference for farmers to switch to nutrition and not rely on chemical fertilizers whose prices have skyrocketed

Abstract

A construction project always requires project resources as a component in the construction process. There are five project resources, namely workers, methods, tools, costs and materials. Of the five components, material is one of the main raw materials that has a considerable influence in determining the cost of the project. There are various kinds of materials, one of which is reinforcing steel. Reinforcing iron has a high enough value so that this material must be calculated very carefully in order to get the optimal iron value. Because it has a high enough value in the process, it is necessary to plan the calculation of the iron. Starting from the calculation of the need for reinforcing steel. There are several methods to calculate the need for reinforcing steel, namely the (manual) approach method and the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) method. Bar bending schedule (BBS) is a planning method for steel work which contains detailed information in the form of the shape of the bar, the length of the bar, dimensions and the amount of bar to be used in structural work. BBS produces iron requirements in units of rods which then produce units of weight. Where in this project the process has not used the BBS iron calculation method. Where in manual calculations it does not pay attention to the pattern of iron pieces, so iron cutting in the field has not optimally utilized the remaining pieces or waste material. In this study, researchers will make iron calculations using the bar bending schedule method and make iron cutting patterns drawn per floor on a floor plan with detailed lengths and the amount of iron to be used, taking into account the remaining or waste material referring to the RKS and Shop Drawings. used in the Cita Hati School Building Development Project in order to accurately obtain the results of the material requirements for reinforcing steel and the remaining iron material. By applying the bar bending schedule method, it can make it easier to supply steel materials to suit the plan. So by using the bar bending schedule in the calculation of reinforcing steel it is included in an effort to optimize reinforcement in the Cita Hati School Building Development Project.

Abstract

PT BCD is a company engaged in the distribution of drugs, pharmaceuticals and other consumer goods. PT BCD distributes products supplied by factories to consumers in the form of outlets, pharmacies and other large pharmaceutical companies (PBF), one of them is x product. To deliver x product to customers, PT BCD uses transportation in the form of box cars. In 2023, the Head of Expedition at PT BCD wants to determine which route should be taken so that the shipping process can be carried out effectively and efficiently and also can provide benefits in the form of savings. Therefore, this research was conducted to study the best route that should be taken by the expedition team using the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbors methods. Based on the results of data processing and analysis carried out using both methods, the best route was obtained which was able to provide savings of 39.61% with a total distance reduction of 46.1 km

Abstract

As time goes by, development.Technology is growing rapidly. Life today is all modern and is needed as a source of electrical energy. The increasing need for electrical energy requires the availability of reliable and efficient electrical energy. PT. PLN (Persero) has three levels in the distribution of electricity, including the generation rate, transmission rate and distribution level, causing many problems that occur in it. Problems that occur among them are in power transformers there are power losses caused by several factors. Power losses that occur in power transformers need to be considered, because they can cause a considerable loss of efficiency. Analysis of the calculation of power losses was carried out on a 150 kv high-voltage system at the tripe substation to a 20 kv distribution line. The study was carried out by asking permission from PT. PLN (Persero) Substation tripe and then collect the required data such as power transformer specifications, peak load data and Kwh sales data for a period of 1 year starting from January 2022 to December 2022. The conclusion of the study of the effect of total losses (technical and non-technical losses) on efficiency is that there is a relationship between loads, losses and transformer efficiency. So it can be concluded that the load is directly proportional to the losses of the transformer and inversely proportional to the efficiency of the transformer. If the greater the load, the greater the total losses. So that efficiency is also decreasing,

Abstract

In the implementation of a project sometimes it does not go well, because there are obstacles that hinder the existing work. One of the obstacles that are often encountered in the field in the Tanjung Perak Diamond Pier Structure Strengthening project in Surabaya is uncertain weather conditions, this is because in carrying out the initial planning the planners did not consider the weather conditions that would occur during the implementation of this project. The impact that arises due to this delay is the increase in the duration and budget for the implementation of the project. So that in overcoming this, rescheduling is carried out which is expected to produce a logical and realistic schedule as well as costs that are as expected. The purpose of this study is to calculate the results of the costs needed in implementing the project after rescheduling. This type of research is analytic in nature. Data collection in the form of secondary data such as schedules and Budget Plans (RAB) is carried out by directly requesting the required data from related parties, then evaluating the initial costs, followed by preparing new costs using Microsoft Project tools using the Critical Path Method (CPM)). The results of this study obtained a total rescheduling fee of Rp. 28,535,441,605, there is a difference in costs of Rp. 6,482,544,691.1 of the initial planned cost of Rp. 35,017,986,296.10

Abstract

PT, Grafika Prima, is a company engaged in the packaging product. Established since 2018 and has a total of 90 customers. PT. Grafika Prima requires suppliers who always meet the needs of raw materials according to the company's criteria. This manufacturing industry uses cardboard as its main raw material. PT. Grafika Prima is experiencing struggles in determining suppliers of raw materials according to the company's criteria. AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) is a suitable method in solving problems faced by companies because it relates to rank criteria based on weight values. Software of Expert Choice 11 which is useful in weighting values. Thus, the results of the criteria prioritized by the company are Flexibility criteria with the highest weight value of (0.35), quality (0.28), delivery (0.14), service (0.12), and price (0.07 ). Meanwhile, suppliers who are able to meet the company's needs based on the calculation of the highest criteria and sub-criteria are PT Naga Putra Packindo with a weight value of (0.160), PT Rapipack Asritama (0.140), PT Makmoor Jaya Usaha (0.1380), PT Prima Ptr (0.131) , UD Restu Abadie (0.1220), PT Karya Kartoon (0.110), PT Andalan Ajas Pratama (0.100), and CV Berkat Marya (0.070).
