Abstract

Warehouse of raw materials at PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in the Tuban IV Packer Area has an irregular arrangement, causing errors in picking up goods and damage to cement bags. Therefore, designing a warehouse layout using the share storage (FIFO) method. The share storage method will prioritize the use of the nearest storage area according to the FIFO principle, while the database will help monitor and control warehouse inventory. The design results show that a storage area of ​​65 areas is required with a total area of ​​443.625 m2. The method used for warehouse management is the shared storage method, which regulates the placement of raw materials according to the FIFO (First In First Out) principle. This helps minimize bag damage and ensures efficient use of space. The result of this research is an optimal warehouse layout design using the shared storage method. With the implementation of this design, it is expected that PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations and reduce company losses due to damage to inefficient cement bags

Abstract

Indonesia is an area located on the path between the Pacific earthquake and the path of the Asian earthquake and at the meeting of four tectonic plates namely the Eurasian, Indo-Australian, Pacific, Philippine plates, called the Ring of Fire. Abstract

This study aims to investigate green concrete as a sustainable alternative to traditional concrete by examining its properties, performance, and durability. The research will analyze data from previous qualitative studies and case studies using thematic analysis. Then a comparative analysis of green concrete and traditional concrete will be used for their properties, performance, and durability. The findings will contribute to the understanding of green concrete and its potential applications in the construction industry. Additionally, the study will evaluate the economic and environmental implications of using green concrete and provide recommendations for its adoption. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, data collection, analysis, and discussion of the results. as conclusion Green concrete offers significant benefits for the construction industry. It reduces waste and carbon impact by using recycled materials, improves mechanical qualities, durability, and environmental performance, and is more cost-effective and durable. However, the use of recycled concrete aggregate has a slightly reduced impact on economic and environmental benefits in high-performance concretes

Abstract

In this modern era, the increasing science and technology has led to increasing human activities followed by the growth of vehicle capacity and the decline in pedestrians. So the need for means of transport is inevitable. In the city of Surabaya, the need for transportation has become a primary need for the people of the city and the situation at the intersection of  Kenjeran Street, Kedung Cowek Street, Karang Asem Highway, Surabaya City with intersection type 433 and 4 signal phases which is if one arm intersection is in the green phase, the other three phases are in the red phase. The method used in this study is the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual Year 1997 (MKJI 1997). Researchers conducted a traffic survey of the number of vehicles passing for 3 days, namely Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, it can be calculated the amount of traffic volume, intersection capacity, and the degree of saturation. From the results of the study, the highest traffic volume at the intersection of Kenjeran Street, Kedung Cowek Street, Karang Asem Highway, Surabaya City occurred on Tuesday at 17.00-18.00 WIB. Jalan Kenjeran (West) amounted to 849 pcu/hour, Jalan Kenjeran (East) amounted to 1175 pcu/hour, Jalan Kedung Cowek (North) amounted to 1806 pcu/hour and Jalan Karang Asem (South) amounted to 1665 pcu/hour. The results of the existing performance at the intersection of Kenjeran Street, Kedung Cowek Street, Karang Asem Highway, Surabaya City with intersection type 433 occurred on Tuesday at 17.00-18.00 WIB, having an average saturation level of 0.97

Abstract

Facility layout is an integrated planning of the flow or flow of components of a product (goods and or services) in an operating system (manufacturing and or non-manufacturing) in order to obtain the most effective and efficient interrelation between workers, materials, machinery and equipment as well as the handling and transfer of materials, semi-finished goods, from one part to another (a good layout is a layout that has a small material handling cost, so that the optimal production facility layout will reduce the distance of movement and the cost of material handling. PT.Bumi Sarana Beton is one of the companies that needs to improve the layout of its production facilities. Improvements will be made by redesigning the facilitation layout using the ALDEP Algorithm method with the help of ALDEP software, to identify interrelated interests between the selected facilities as the method used in solving facility layout problems. Based on the results of analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the calculation using ALDEP, the software produces 5 iterations of alternative proposals. From the resulting proposal alternative, one of the best proposals is chosen that has the largest TCR value, which is in the alternative 4 with a TCR value of 768, so the layout generated by the ALDEP algorithm has a minimum distance and displacement time of 1,674 m within 59.38 minutes. And produce the smallest OMH, which is Rp. 371,736,90, so that the proposed layout that is produced is optimal. In the end, the company needs to make improvements to the layout in the production process because there is a department that has a long distance, resulting in large material handling costs

Abstract

Observation using Nordic Body Map to truck drivers, complaints that are often felt include: the upper and lower parts of the neck, waist, buttocks, and left leg due to less ergonomic driving positions such as the driver's seat that is less high, the left leg often hurts due to frequent stepping on the clutch and long enough sitting time in a static position resulting in complaints of Musculoscletal Disosders (MSDs). To reduce the risk of injury to the driver, research was conducted using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) methods by looking at the results of the score value. The RULA score of respondent 1 is 5 medium risk levels, respondent 2 is 5 medium risk levels, respondent 3 is 4 small risk levels. While the results of respondent 1's REBA score are 6 medium risk levels, respondent 2 is 6 medium risk levels, respondent 3 is 4 medium risk levels. The improvements made are adjusting the car seat so that the steering wheel position is parallel to the forearm, elevating the car seat so that the driver's head position can be parallel to the car glass

Abstract

PT Taco Anugrah Corporindo, which was established in 2017, is the largest producer of High Pressure Laminates (HPL) in Indonesia. PT. Taco Anugrah Corporindo, in carrying out the production process, produces Kraftpapper raw materials that have predetermined standard qualities. The predetermined qualities include quality, price, location and service. To meet the raw material needs of production, you need a raw material supplier that complies with the standards if you choose Suppliers who do not comply with standards can cause poor production quality, many raw materials are rejected, and will cause losses for the company. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the performance of Kraftpapper suppliers, so that the production process runs smoothly and the company does not experience losses. AHP is a method that functions to determine the priorities of several suppliers to minimize the occurrence of many production rejects, cost losses and loss time in the company. While TOPSIS is a method used for supplier performance ranking. The result of data processing is that the first priority Kraft paper supplier is PT. IK with the highest assessment result of 0.48872, and the highest rating of Kraft paper supplier performance is PT. IK with a preference value of 0.28634, because it best fits the criteria of the company

Abstract

PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo, Tbk is one of the largest bread companies with the Sari Roti trademark in Indonesia. Based on the results of observations and data obtained at the Production Department, it was found that bread products from various bread variants were found to produce pineapple jam bread every day producing +/- 2000 pcs/day. There were still defects found in 2.88% of the total production. This research uses a quantitative approach with the data processing analysis used is the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. The research results show that controlling production quality in an effort to reduce the number of defects in pineapple jam bread products at PT. Nippon Indosari Corpindo, Tbk, using the Statistical Quality Control method, can determine defects that occur using the Pareto diagram to find the cause of the number of defects in pineapple jam bread products, the most dominant of which is stiff/does not rise with a total of 34.59%. From the fishbone diagram, it can be seen that defects in pineapple jam bread products are caused by human factors that are less careful, and also by machine factors whose standard usage exceeds the standard limits

Abstract

One of the most widely used electrical loads is electric lights. The main function of electric lights is as a source of artificial lighting in the room. In an electrical system, the lights will light up when connected in parallel to an electrical power source. In this research, testing of electrical energy savings in energy-saving lamps was carried out using experimental methods. The experimental circuit consists of series and parallel circuits. The amount of current and voltage of the load is measured to calculate the amount of load power. Likewise, the lighting level in the room is measured and then compared with the standard lighting level value according to SNI 03-1697-2000. Based on the analysis results, it was found that the lamp voltage in the series circuit decreased by 50.21% and the lighting strength decreased by 76.88% from the SNI standard. This causes the lighting in the series circuit to become dim. Meanwhile, the power of each lamp in both circuits is almost the same. This shows that there is no saving in electrical power if the lights are connected in series compared to a parallel connection. Therefore, series connection lights cannot be used because they do not meet lighting standards in laboratory work spaces

Abstract

Road pavement layers are an important part of road construction that supports traffic loads. Where the layer must be able to spread stress, not experience changes in shape and have sufficient stability. One alternative filler material that can be used in asphalt concrete mixtures is Madurese white brick powder, because Madurese white limestone powder is a local additive that is widely available in Madura.. The temperature transformation used is 160°C/146°C, 170°C/156°C, 180°C/166°C, 190°C/176°C, 200°C/186°C with an asphalt content of 5.2 %, 5.7%, 6.2%. The test uses the Marshall test method by looking for Marshall characteristics. This research aims to determine the effect of mixing temperature transformation and compaction of AC-WC hot asphalt using limestone and gold in Sampang District, Sampang Regency. Based on the results of the marshall quoient test, the marshall characteristics almost meet all classifications, namely stability of 1746 kg, flow with a result of 3.5 mm, marshall qouient with a value of 362.89 kg/mm ​​and VMA of 22.40%, while VIM and VFB do not yet meet classification, namely for VIM of 12% which according to classification should be >65%.
