Abstract

CV. Rifky Arafa, one of the companies engaged in garments that provides the needs of goods and services for making alma mater, suits, jackets, hats, togas, and bags, located in Kadu Genep Village, Petir District, Serang-Banten Regency. This research was conducted on 5 production operators of sewing machine parts. The purpose of this study was to determine how much calorie needs and how long rest periods needed by operators based on pulse rate and energy consumption and find out the optimal rest time for sewing machine part production process operators. This research method uses a physiological approach method with the calculation of measurement data of 10 pulses, from the calculation of the average working pulse rate (DNK) and cardiovascular load (%CVL) as well as the level of energy consumption needed by the operator when doing work, based on calculations using the highest average physiological approach of the work pulse rate (DNK) with a value of 90, 67 beats/minute and cardiovascular load (%CVL) with an indigo of 18.18% which classified as light workload and can be classified as not fatigue when working because of the value <30% if the %CVL value reaches 30% - 60% then repair or additional hours of rest time are needed. The calorie requirement required by the operator is 0.978 Kcal/min based on the calculation of energy consumption spent during work of 3.606 Kcal/min and energy expenditure at the time before work of 2.628 Kcal/min. For the determination of rest time through the calculation of energy consumption of 0.978 Kcal/min states that no rest time is needed during the work process at the production process operator. (Rt = 0) This means that the rest hours given or that have been set in the CV. Rifky Arafa which is 60 minutes is enough

Abstract

The pharmaceutical industry has a significant environmental impact due to the use of chemicals, energy, and waste production. Microbiology laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry have an important role in testing pharmaceutical products, but the use of specialized microbial growth media in these laboratories produces waste and has an impact on the environment. Lean Green Logistics, which focuses on reducing waste in the supply chain while minimizing environmental impact, is a potential solution in addressing this problem. By identifying waste reduction opportunities, such as inventory to be more efficient, this research aims to reduce waste, reduce environmental impact, and lower operational costs. The calculation results show that the use of smaller petri dishes reduces the use of R2A media by 40%, in addition to reducing the cost of the media used, the waste produced is also reduced. This reflects the principles of Green Logistics and the application of Lean Management in reducing inventory wastage, thus helping pharmaceutical companies in optimizing procurement logistics.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the water balance in the irrigation network in Kedawung Village, Mojo District, Kediri Regency, with a focus on irrigation water supply. Irrigation water is an important factor in agriculture, and the success of an irrigation system is highly dependent on the availability of sufficient and efficient water. The research method involves field surveys to collect data regarding water sources, water distribution, and irrigation water use. In addition, weather and rainfall data were also taken to assess the influence of climate factors on irrigation water availability. The water balance data analyzed includes the volume of water entering the irrigation network, the volume of water used for agriculture, and the volume of water lost due to evaporation and soil infiltration. The results of the water balance analysis will be used to evaluate the efficiency of irrigation water use in Kedawung Village. In addition, this research will also evaluate the adequacy of irrigation water to support local agriculture. If there is a shortage of irrigation water, this research can provide recommendations for improving the irrigation system or water source management.Thus, it is hoped that this research can provide valuable information for local governments, farmers and other stakeholders in an effort to increase agricultural productivity and meet irrigation water needs in Kedawung Village

Abstract

The quality of products (including services) produced by an industry is closely related to the satisfaction of the consumers it serves. The higher the quality of a product, the more satisfied consumers are with the usefulness, usefulness and appreciation of the product. In increasingly competitive food companies, food companies are required to produce high quality products that meet consumer expectations and desires. Product quality is a key factor that determines customer satisfaction, loyalty and long-term company success. This article aims to provide a literature review regarding the application of QFD in improving product quality in food companies as well as providing contextual knowledge as an effort to implement QFD to improve product quality. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review. The results of the literature review analyzed show that QFD is proven to have an influence on the process of improving the quality of a product or company. The research results show that QFD brings significant benefits, such as speeding up the decision-making process and increasing the match between consumer needs and product specifications. In this way, food companies can be more responsive to market changes and gain a competitive advantage by producing higher quality products. This is proven by increasing consumer satisfaction and success in maintaining or increasing market share

Abstract

To remain competitive in the era of globalization, all industries must be able to compete in the world market. The competitive global market drives all industries to become more competitive. Among all industrial sectors, manufacturing is one industry that has an important role in increasing the economy and national income. The aim of this paper is to provide insight into the literature regarding the effectiveness of FMEA in manufacturing and provide contextual knowledge as a means to improve the effectiveness of FMEA in manufacturing. The method used is a systematic literature search. The findings show that FMEA is an approach that helps companies minimize work failures and maximize production. Abstract

The development of streaming services is rapidly growing in Indonesia. One of the companies in the streaming service sector is PT X, which has an application rating of 4.1. In the application development, one of the features is advertising provision while users are using the application or watching. There are several complaints from users whose data is stored through app logs from January onwards. The main issues related to advertising are duplicate content during watching and design development. These issues were then addressed and improved using the agile method by conducting continuous iterations based on user feedback. The research resulted in the improvement of the user interface design in overlay ads by changing the position and size of the dismiss button, and the development of user experience for duplicate content by prioritizing and changing the logic when displaying ads. Based on the implementation results, it was found that the improvements and developments in advertising decreased user complaints by 30% and increased user satisfaction during watching

Abstract

In machine manufacturing projects, fabrication planning is an important aspect because it is the basis for fabrication activities in optimizing time. Even though planning has been carried out, delays in project completion still occur in the field. This also happened at PT Intan Prima Kalorindo. This condition is not good cause delays in project completion have several negative impacts, including; wastage of time, additional costs, physical and psychological pressure on human resources, as well as continuity of trust in the company. this research aims to create a fabrication schedule for the TEWAC procurement project using the precedence diagram method which will be presented in a gantt chart with the Microsoft project application. This research will also present a list of required material components (bill of materials), determine the sequence of operational processes followed (Operation Process Chart) as a reference in mapping relationships between work and determining activities using the Precedence Diagram Method. TEWAC's fabrication schedule after calculation analysis using the Precedence Diagram Method resulted in a shorter implementation duration than the Company's schedule. There are 19 activities that are classified as critical paths (shown in red on the Gantt chart) that need attention. This is because the critical path can cause delays in the duration of project completion. The existence of critical activities itself can be used as a reference for prioritizing work and allocating existing resources in order to minimize the level of project delays

Abstract

PT. Indorama Petrochemicals PT Indorama Petrochemical, producer of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA), has been operating since 2013. From production of 33 tons per hour, it has now reached 58 tons per hour. Indorama Chemical's PTA products are 100 percent absorbed for domestic needs including the textile industry as raw material for fiber and yarn. Some examples of the problems that exist at the Chemical manufacturing company PT Indorama Cilegon include (lack of respect for employees, lack of man power, excessive workload, lack of safety/PPE awareness, lack of discipline and high work ethic). These problem factors result in low employee motivation at work, apart from that, employees will become less enthusiastic about achieving company targets and this will have an impact on a company and this can be detrimental to the company. The aim of this research is to reduce the physical workload experienced by employees at work by measuring workload using Work Load Analysis (WLA) with a Soft System Methodology (SSM) approach. In this research, an approach is needed to identify, measure and evaluate the amount of work or tasks that must be carried out in an organization or by a particular individual. System analysis is carried out to identify problems in a complex system and also to create solutions to improve existing problem solving. The results of this research are problem identification, causal loop diagram of excessive workload, rich picture of excessive workload, root definitions, conceptual model of increasing company productivity, and processes, as well as suggestions for improvement

Abstract

PT Korindo Heavy Industry is a company engaged in construction and heavy equipment, the company's production consists of various steel structures, pipe spools and special vehicles. The problem that occurs in the company is the buildup of material in the production process caused by the overhead crane machine as material handling being unable to transport material so that production activities at work stations are hampered. The purpose of this study was to determine the critical components of overhead cranes that contribute to high downtime and to determine machine performance including reliability, availability and maintainability. In addition, the research will also propose optimal maintenance actions. This study uses the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis method to identify failure modes and Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) to predict the reliability, availability and maintainability performance of a system or component. The results of the data processing that has been carried out obtained the highest criticality category based on the RPN, namely, absorber power trip (160), gearbox (120), cable (105), and lining brake (105), with a weibull distribution. The absorber power trip component is the smallest MTTF and MTTR values, namely 239.8078 hours and 0.9953 hours. Each critical component has an optimal operating time of 24 hours, except for the lining brake, which is 168 hours. the minimum time for each component to reach its initial condition with a maintainability value of 100% is 28 hours. the results of the availability calculation obtained the lowest component, namely, the gearbox component with an inherent availability value of 76.82% and 72% operational availability. Based on key performance indicators and company targets, the gearbox component availability value as a leading indicator has not yet reached the target. The conclusion of the research is to obtain more optimal maintenance action proposals for the four critical components of the BU-1 overhead crane, especially the gearbox components which have not reached the target

Abstract

Electrical networks are very useful in everyday life. The electricity network is one of the main resources, namely as a resource for all household and company electronic equipment and of course every house or company must have an electricity network. But how can all these points have an electricity network and that the network is neatly arranged and efficient? So researchers are conducting research which will discuss and analyze the optimization of the electricity network at Grand Cilegon Residence, Jl. Bougainvillea. The problem that we want to overcome is minimizing the path or length of the electricity network in the Grand Cilegon Residence Housing Complex, Jl. Bougainvillea. This research aims to be used as a consideration in installing electrical cables in the Grand Cilegon Residence housing complex and also as a comparison of the distance to the electricity network by obtaining the minimum distance to the electricity network so that the electricity network in the area can be installed neatly and efficiently. The research method used by researchers in network problems is the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) model. Based on the analysis and calculations that have been carried out, the results obtained from this research are that the Grand Cilegon Residence housing only requires electrical cables with an optimal distance of 85 km. These results show that the use of the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) model has a great influence on optimizing the distance connecting points. houses and other points by saving more on the use of electrical cables can be said to be effective and efficient
