Abstract

Every business is required to improve the things in it so that it continues to survive and develop. Proper management is needed in every business to develop business performance. Pentol X UMKM is an MSME that was founded in 2018. Fluctuations in demand cause stock instability so that there is over stock and also lack of stock and indicates a bullwhip effect. Based on the problems that occur, an approach will be taken to solve this problem by using four forecasting methods, namely Moving Average, Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Triple Exponential Smoothing. Based on the research results, the forecasting method used for large pentol products is Triple Exponential Smoothing Multiplicative. The forecasting method used for small bulb products is Triple Exponential Smoothing Multiplicative. The forecasting method used for tofu products is Triple Exponential Smoothing Additive. The results of the research show that the value of the bullwhip can be reduced

Abstract

In this study, an alternative design of Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan was carried out using an earthquake-resistant steel structure with a dual system eccentrically braced frame. The existing design of Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan uses a concrete structure with a shearwall structural system. Steel structure is chosen as an alternative design because steel material has better ductility and lower weight than concrete, which is good for earthquake resistant buildings. Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan will be designed with a moment-resisting frame structure system in accordance with the provisions of SNI 1726: 2019 on earthquake resistant structure planning, SNI 1729: 2020 concerning building steel structures, SNI 7860: 2020 concerning earthquake-resistant steel structures and SNI 7972: 2020 concerning special moment-bearing steel structure connections. From the design results, the dimensions of the steel cross-section profiles used as beams are WF 500.200, WF 450.200, WF 400.200, WF 396.198, and WF 350.175. Meanwhile, the cross-sectional column profiles are KC 800.300, K700.300, K588.300, K600.200, and K500.200

Abstract

Jombang is one of the regencies in the East Java region with an area of ​​1159.50 km2. Astronomically, Jombang Regency is located between 7o20 – 7o46 south latitude and 112o03 – 112o27 east longitude. Where there is a natural river that crosses the middle which does not escape from flooding every year. One of the problems that must be addressed is the protection of the downstream Konto River bank. Prior to carrying out slope repair rehabilitation, it is necessary to have knowledge about slope stability to determine the type of soil and the form of reinforcement to be applied. For this reason, there is a need for management related to increasing the stability of river slopes. Based on sample testing in the laboratory, the most critical soil data obtained were: unit weight value ɣ (KN/m3) = 16.00 kN/m3. The internal shear angle value (Φ) = 20.00. Cohesion value (C) = 20.00. Based on the results of data processing using the Geoslope Slope/W Software with the bishop method, the FK value for dry conditions in cross sections A-A' was 1,214 and the FK value for dry conditions in cross sections B-B' was 1.9. While the FK value for the saturated cross section A-A' is 0.714 and the FK value for the saturated cross section B-B' is 0.870. Where according to Krahn, 2004 in table 2.4, the condition of the slope is safe in dry conditions and avalanches will occur when conditions are saturated. In the manual calculation of the slice method, the dry condition FK value in the cross-section A-A' is 1.6 and FK value in dry condition cross section B-B' is 1.8. This means that according to Krahn, 2004 in table 2.4 where the FK value for the overall slope is between 1.5-1.8, the slope at Kali Konto downstream is safe in dry conditions

Abstract

The current development in the construction industry is rapidly advancing. Regardless of any construction process, it takes a considerable amount of time to complete from start to finish. Therefore, careful considerations are needed to determine the most appropriate and efficient way to execute a construction project. Tanjung Perak Class II Sea and Coastal Guard Base (Pangkalan Penjaga Laut dan Pantai or PLP) is a Technical Implementation Unit under the authority and responsibility of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, as regulated by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. In this project, pile foundation is being used. However, during the foundation work, several challenges arise. These include the unavailability of ready-to-use hydraulic equipment, hydraulic equipment repairs, and a one-week delay in the arrival of the pile foundation, which leads to a delay in the foundation work. As a result, the workers cannot maximize their productivity while waiting for the equipment to arrive. In addition to the delay, there is also a cost escalation, as the workers are still being paid despite not being able to work at their maximum capacity. Therefore, a comparison between the current pile foundation and alternative foundation types is necessary to find a more efficient solution and minimize the encountered challenges. Based on the data analysis, the duration required for the preparation work and the installation of 65 points of 30x30cm pile foundation with a depth of 16m at Tanjung Perak Class II Sea and Coastal Guard Base is 8 weeks or 56 days, with a cost of Rp 670,742,965.00. On the other hand, the duration for the preparation work and the installation of 65 points of 30cm bore pile foundation with a depth of 16m is 69 days or 10 weeks, with a cost of Rp 520,779,603.00. From the discussions and deliberations above, the time difference between pile foundation and bore pile foundation is 13 days. Bore pile foundation takes 13 days longer than pile foundation. The cost difference between pile foundation and bore pile foundation is Rp 149,963,362

Abstract

The review of a project helps to increase/select investment opportunities. Errors in choosing a project can result in sacrifice/loss of existing capital/resources. Therefore, careful evaluation is required before executing a project. The same thing is also needed for the construction project of the Al-Arafah Hospital in the City of Kediri. This project needs to analyze the feasibility of investment from several aspects including market and financial aspects. The reason for conducting an investment analysis for this project is that all investments have an expected return. This paper discusses the feasibility of investing in the construction project of the Al-Arafah Hospital in Kediri City in terms of market feasibility analysis and financial feasibility analysis with the parameters Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Payback Period, and Break Even Point using Microsoft Excel. Judging from the analysis of the market and financial aspects, Al-Arafah Hospital, Kediri City, is feasible for development. Judging from the market aspect, Al-Arafah Hospital, Kediri City, has a better facility plan than its competitor hospitals. According to the tariff plan, Al-Arafah Hospital in Kediri City is considered cheaper compared to other hospitals in the same category. And the results of the analysis from the financial aspect are the Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 9,643,112,333 0, the value of the Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) is 4.083 1, the value of the Internal Rate of Return shows an increase of 17.63% from the MARR of 12.0%, and with a Payback Period (PP) in the fifth year of the twenty-year investment period

Abstract

The need for water by all living things is an inseparable need in everyday life. In the use of water, especially for rice fields, the Government of Indonesia is carrying out development efforts in the irrigation sector which aims to be directly felt by the community in meeting water needs. Therefore, there is a need for an analysis related to water availability and water demand. This research was conducted to analyze the need for irrigation water and water balance in the Rejosari weir, district. Jombang. The results of the analysis of the need for irrigation water for the Rejosari weir for each type of plant are rice obtaining a value of 28.99 l/s/ha Palawija 6.95 l/s/ha Sugarcane 9.28 l/s/ha. Meanwhile, the total water requirement at the intake is 124.93 m3/sec. analysis of the availability of irrigation water for the Rejosari weir obtained a maximum discharge value of 10.00 m3/s in February III while the minimum discharge was 1.48 m3/s in November II. The total availability of irrigation water for one year is 180.33 m3/sec. the results of the calculation of the water balance in 1 year with a cropping pattern of 10 days, obtained 23 periods of compliance with 13 periods of non-compliance. So it can be concluded that the percentage of water balance is 64% with a water availability value of 180.33 m3/sec, the water demand at the intake is 124.93 m3/sec with a difference of 55.41 m3/sec

Abstract

PT. Alam Jaya Rungkut, Surabaya is a company engaged in the fishing industry The company processes various types of aquatic products such as fish, squid and shrimp. PT Alam Jaya only processes fresh fish into semi-finished products or in frozen form only. Products that have been processed are then stored in cold storage. Product quality is something that companies need to pay attention to in carrying out the production process to maintain the safety and health of consumers when the product is marketed. The company has implemented HACCP (Hazard Analysis Crital Control Point) in the snapper fillet production process but there are still some findings such as cross-contamination, there are metals, metals in the product that can endanger consumers when the product will be marketed. The finding is a discrepancy between HACCP Standards and application in the field. From the findings obtained, it is necessary to analyze how far the company applies the HACCP system. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate HACCP performance in companies with the GAP Analysis method as a tool to assess HACCP performance. based on the results of the deviation assessment, it is known that the average deviation from the overall implementation of GMP is 19.81%, the SSOP gap is 20.49%. and the HACCP gap is 12.27%. From each assessment, improvements are made if there are parameters that are not in accordance with HACCP guidelines so that the application of HACCP is better

Abstract

UD. ACC Plastics Surabaya is a company engaged in the household furniture plastic industry business. In terms of the company's sales in 2022 it still has not reached the target, so the company must have a solution to this problem so that its sales volume can increase and reach sales targets. UD ACC Plastics through the SWOT method produced an IFE Matrix with a total score of 0.7098 while an EFE Matrix with a total score of 0.3512. The priority strategy AHP method that can be implemented in the Company is the SO Strategy Approaching the nearest market and using technology and information through website marketing to promote products. The WO strategy is to improve product quality by maximizing human resources in order to take advantage of existing technological advances. ST's strategy is to innovate products to survive in the midst of the emergence of similar products by seeking competitive suppliers in order to obtain good raw materials in terms of quality and quantity. WT's strategy is to cooperate with nearby markets to expand the business network by setting prices. The marketing strategy implemented at UD ACC Plastics is to approach the nearest market to establish cooperation in the sales sector, use technology and information through website marketing to promote products, improve product quality, maximize human resources, innovate so that products survive amidst emergence of similar products, looking for competitive suppliers in order to get good raw materials in terms of quality and quantity, setting prices that can compete with other businesses

Abstract

Exodus House of Printing is a Home Industry printing which is located in Mojokerto. Home Industry is engaged in printing one of its products, namely invitations, calendars and brochures. Home Industry at this time must prioritize efficiency and effectiveness in carrying out production activities of a product. A company can be said to be effective when scheduling a product in the completion of a request from a consumer. One of the factors that influence the completion of a request is working time, workers/labor who take part in the completion of a production. The purpose of this study, among other things, is to find out the standard time for each worker and how much labor is optimal and how to plan costs in order to minimize expenses. By using several methods including stopwatch time, workload analysis, aggregate planning heuristics. After the method was applied, it was found that the research results showed that the process of making 1-unit product took 8.55 minutes with 6 workers for each operator with additional overtime and costs at least IDR 17,132,614

Abstract

In bridge construction, there are two main components to consider: the superstructure and the substructure. The superstructure serves as the roadway for vehicles and pedestrians, utilizing elements such as beams, slabs, and girders designed to withstand traffic loads. On the other hand, the substructure consists of the foundation and piers, responsible for supporting and distributing the superstructure's load to the ground. In this context, the focus of this study is on the substructure, particularly the use of bored pile foundations. Due to the varying mechanical characteristics of the soil surrounding the foundation, careful analysis of the soil-structure interaction in bored pile foundations is crucial to ensure the safety and stability of the structure. This study utilizes the Geo5 geotechnical engineering software, which provides methods and algorithms to assess the interaction between soil and bored pile foundations. The software allows for the inclusion of soil parameters such as mechanical properties, bearing capacity, and deformation characteristics in the analysis model. By using Geo5, numerical simulations can be conducted to evaluate foundation performance, identify potential issues, and design optimal solutions to ensure the successful construction of a safe and robust bridge
