Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of internships on the development of soft skills of Office Administration Education Students, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. The population in this study was 95 people and the sample was 95 people. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics using percentages and for inferential statistical analysis techniques using data normality tests, moment product correlation analysis, simple line ar regression analysis andpartial t tests.  From the test results show that the indicators of the internship variable are in the very good category while the learning motivation variable is in the very high category. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis, there is a relationship between the two variables. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between internships on the development of soft skilss Office Administration Education Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University

Abstract

Student satisfaction is an important component of a formal service assessment plan. Thus, schools are required to always improve the quality of all components in the school. This study aims to determine the quality of student administration services and the factors that support and hinder student administration services at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The informants in this study were the Head of Administration, Administration Staff, Teachers, Student Council Chairman, and Students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that student administration services at SMK Negeri 8 Makassar were in the "quality" category, this can be seen from the results of research on each dimension, namely Direct evidence (Tangible) is complete. Reliability is already reliable. Responsiveness is responsive. Assurance is quite guaranteed, and Empathy is good.

Abstract

The cooperative learning model of the Think Pair and Share (TPS) type is a "cooperative learning model that was first developed by Professor Frank Lyman and his colleagues at the University of Maryland in 1981. This research is a classroom action research. The research subjects were class XII MIPA 1 students of SMA Negeri Integrated Madani Palu Model, a total of 34 people consisting of 11 men and 23 women. While the research procedure consists of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Further data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data/conclusion verification. The results of the study show that the Think Pair and Share Model can improve learning outcomes in learning English language and literature for class XII MIPA 1 SMAN Integrated Madani Model Palu, Academic Year 2022/2023

Abstract

Excellent service is a service that prioritizes the interests of customers or students. Service providers must be able to provide good service quality standards that exceed the expectations of students so that the needs, desires and expectations of students are met. This study aims to determine the picture of excellent service with the A6 concept, the picture of student satisfaction, and the influence of excellent service with the A6 concept on student satisfaction at SMK Negeri 7 Makassar. This research is a quantitative research that shows cause-and-effect relationships. The sample in this study amounted to 85 students with stratified random sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the variables of excellent service at SMK Negeri 7 Makassar were in the very good category with indicators, namely ability, attitude, appearance, attention, action, and accountability, while the variables of student satisfaction were in the very good category with indicators of speed, accuracy, safety, friendliness, and comfort. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test, the relationship between variables is moderate. Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis, it was concluded that there was a positive and significant influence of excellent service with the A6 concept on student satisfaction at SMK Negeri 7 Makassar. This research uses the A6 concept as the basis for excellent service to provide satisfaction to students so that the needs, desires or expectations of students are met.

Abstract

Additional employee income is compensation received by civil servants which aims to improve employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of providing additional employee income on employee performance at the Office of the Bureau of Personnel and Human Resources Development in Barru Regency. This research is a correlation research using a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using the observation method, questionnaire/questionnaire method and documentation method. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the indicators of the additional employee income variable were in the very good category, while the employee performance variables were in the very high category. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the provision of additional employee income on employee performance at the Office of the Bureau of Personnel and Human Resources Development in Barru Regency. Providing additional employee income will improve performance and make employees aware of the duties and responsibilities given. Abstract

Management is a series of activities carried out by someone who has the function and purpose of achieving a goal of the organization. Good records management supports the achievement of an organization's goals. This study aims to find out how the effectiveness of records management at the Makassar State Administrative Court. This study used a qualitative descriptive research study, while the number of informants in this study were five people with data collection techniques using the observation method, interview method, and documentation method. the data obtained from the research results were processed using data analysis techniques in this study using data reduction techniques, data presentation, conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of Archive Management at the Makassar State Administrative Court is seen as a whole good and effective. This can be seen from the fulfillment of the indicators that are aspects of the assessment, namely storage and arrangement of archives, securing archives, maintaining archives, preventing damage to archives, and an archive depreciation system

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the discussion learning method, the description of students' learning interests, and the effect of the discussion learning method on students' learning interest at SMKN 1 Watansoppeng. This research is a quantitative research with a symmetric associative ex-post facto design that uses descriptive and inferential statistical tools. the sample in this study amounted to 80 people with random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The test results show that the discussion learning method is in the very good category and the students' learning interest is in the good category. In the product moment correlation test, the relationship between variables is moderate and there is influence between the two variables. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, it was concluded that there was a positive and significant effect of the discussion learning method on students' learning interest at SMKN 1 Watansoppeng.

Abstract

The role of supervision in improving employee discipline in the Sinjai Regency DPRD Secretariat. This research is a type of descriptive research, aimed at determining the role of supervision in improving employee discipline in the Sinjai Regency DPRD Secretariat. There are informants in this study, namely the Secretary of   the  Sinjai Regency DPRD, the Head of the Supervision and Budgeting Facilities Section, the Head of the Trial and Legislation Sub-Division, the Legislative Drafting Analysis Section Employee  , the Legislative Drafting Section Employee. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used, namely data collection, data  condensation, data presentation and conclusion/verification. The results showed that supervision in the secretariat of the Sinjai Regency DPRD played a very important role in improving employee work discipline, judging from the indicators, namely setting standards for implementation or planning, work measurement, work assessment and corrective actions. Because by supervising, it will assess the work activities carried out by employees so that they will know the extent of employee work performance. Therefore, by conducting supervision, it will be easier to prevent if at any time in the implementation of activities there are irregularities committed by employees.

Abstract

The role of information technology in the bureaucracy can facilitate the implementation of tasks in information management, make work effective and efficient, and shorten service time so that performance becomes optimal. Information technology is currently based on the Internet of Thing (IoT) to support the acceleration of information, and in the government sector it is based on E-Government which supports data integration and can be accessed in real time within the Central Government and collaborating agencies. This study aims to describe information technology, employee performance and the influence of information technology on employee performance at the Makassar City Communication and Information Service. This research is an associative quantitative research which shows a causal relationship. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The test results show that the variables of information technology and employee performance are in a very good category, based on the product moment correlation test, the relationship between variables is very strong. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis it was concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of information technology on employee performance at the Makassar City Communication and Information Service.

Abstract

The implementation of regional government which was marked by the enactment of Law No. 32 of 2004 concerning Regional Government has had far-reaching consequences for the government agency for the analysis of the quality of public services at the Office of Population and Civil Registration of Takalar Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the quality of public services at the Office of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Takalar Regency. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the analysis of the quality of public services at the office of the takalar district population and civil registration office seen from the Tangible dimension (physical evidence) has been implemented. The Reability dimension has been implemented, but there are still indicators that have not met people's expectations, namely regarding the expertise of employees in using assistive devices. The Responsiveness dimension has been implemented, but there are indicators that have not met the expectations of the community regarding the timeliness of employees in providing services. The Assurance dimension has been implemented according to the wishes of the community. The Empathy Dimension has been implemented. This study presents new, more detailed information by linking the latest theory compared to previous research regarding the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Takalar Regency so that it can be used as evaluation material for research loci to further improve the quality of their services
