Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how return on assets (ROA) and company size affect the price-earnings ratio (PER) of basic materials companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2022 to 2024. A purposive sampling method was used to select 83 companies from the study population, resulting in a sample of 75 companies. The price-earnings ratio (PER) is partially influenced by company size, as shown by the test results. Conversely, the price-earnings ratio (PER) is significantly and negatively affected by return on assets (ROA). At the same time, the price-earnings ratio (PER) is significantly influenced by company scale and return on assets (ROA).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business performance and sustainability of Wijen Natura, a sesame oil business operating in Palembang City. The business utilizes local sesame seeds as the main raw material and applies a hot infusion method to produce high-quality sesame oil. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were collected through consumer questionnaires, interviews with business owners, and analysis of financial reports and sales data. The results indicate that Wijen Natura has strong market potential in terms of consumer interest, sales growth, and business feasibility analysis. Appropriate marketing strategies, product quality, and flavor innovation are key factors in maintaining business sustainability. Based on financial and non-financial analysis, Wijen Natura is considered feasible and sustainable for further development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital marketing strategy and sustainability of a ready-to-eat chili sauce business in Palembang. Sambal Bara Musi is a business engaged in ready-to-eat packaged products. This business offers five menu variants that are innovative combinations of chili sauce and side dishes. The analysis areas in this study focused on digital marketing strategy analysis, business performance analysis (financial reports), and business sustainability analysis. Based on the analysis results obtained, it can be stated that the Sambal Bara Musi business can be implemented well and sustainably.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi dan keberlanjutan bisnis nail art “Nails by Rel” yang berlokasi di Kota Palembang dengan fokus pada desain edgy, trendy, dan y2k. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, dokumentasi aktivitas usaha, laporan keuangan, serta kuesioner kepuasan pelanggan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nails by Rel memiliki potensi keberlanjutan usaha yang baik, didukung oleh diferensiasi produk, strategi pemasaran berbasis digital, sistem layanan yang fleksibel, serta pengelolaan biaya yang efisien. Inovasi layanan dan positioning merek yang kuat menjadi faktor utama dalam meningkatkan minat pelanggan dan pertumbuhan usaha.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze and explain the effect of Return on Equity (ROE) on Stock Returns with Earning Per Share (EPS) as an intervening variable in companies listed in the LQ45 index during the period 2019-2024. The research population includes 73 companies, with a purposive sampling technique resulting in 28 sample companies (168 observations). The data analysis method uses path analysis and Sobel test assisted by IBM SPSS 26. The results of the study indicate that partially, ROE has a positive and significant effect on both EPS and Stock Returns. However, it was found that EPS does not have a significant effect on Stock Returns. The mediation test results using the Sobel test show that EPS is unable to mediate the effect of ROE on Stock Returns, because the direct effect value is much greater than the indirect effect. This indicates that investors in liquid stocks (LQ45) are more likely to respond directly to equity profitability performance than to earnings per share information in determining their expected returns.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR) and Earning per Share (EPS) on Stock Returns of Companie on IDX JII70 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2024. In this study, the research method used is a quantitative research method. The population of this study is the Company on IDX JII70 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 - 2024. The sample in this study was obtained using a purposive sampling technique totaling 26 company on IDX JII70. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that CR has a positive and significant effect on Stock Return and EPS has a positive and significant effect on Stock Return. CR and EPS simultaneously and significantly influence stock return.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on the stock prices of companies listed in the LQ45 index during the 2020-2024 period. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The data used are secondary data obtained from company financial statements and official publications available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling on predetermined criteria. The results show that EPS and NPM have a significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, all variables have a significant effect on stock prices. This study is expected to contribute to investors as a consideration in making investment decision and to academics as a reference for future researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of firm size on firm value withprofitability as a mediating variable in healthcare sector companies listed onthe Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The study employs secondary dataobtained from the annual financial statements of healthcare companies duringthe 2023–2024 period. Firm size is proxied by total assets, profitability ismeasured using Return on Assets (ROA), and firm value is measured using Priceto Book Value (PBV). Data analysis is conducted using multiple linearregression and mediation testing with a causal step approach, utilizing SPSSsoftware.The results indicate that firm size does not have a positive effect on profitability,leading to the rejection of the first hypothesis. However, firm size andprofitability are each proven to have a positive effect on firm value.Furthermore, profitability is found to partially mediate the relationship betweenfirm size and firm value, as the direct effect of firm size on firm value remainssignificant after the mediating variable is included in the model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of tax socialization and tax understanding on the tax awareness of Generation Z in Palembang City. The scope of the study focused on Generation Z aged 20–28 years who have income and have participated in tax socialization activities. The study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The research sample consisted of 354 respondents determined through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through SmartPLS software. The results showed that tax socialization and tax understanding have a positive and significant effect on the tax awareness of Generation Z. This finding indicates that the effectiveness of socialization and a good level of tax understanding play an important role in increasing tax awareness. This study supports the Theory of Planned Behavior in explaining the tax awareness of Generation Z.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Company Performance and CSR on Company Value (Study in the Banking Sector listed on the IDX for the period 2021-2024. In this study the research method used is a quantitative research method. The population of this study is companies in the Banking Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021-2024. The sample in this study was obtained using a purposive sampling technique totaling 31 companies in the Banking Sector. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that ROA has a positive and significant effect on PBV, CSRD has no effect on PBV.
