Abstract

The scope of District II, Davao Oriental, Philippines, swine production plays a vital role in household income and local meat supply that supports and fosters the livelihood of the area. This study assessed the relationship between cost management and profitability among small and medium-scale swine owners. A quantitative correlational research design was applied, including 180 swine owners across the City of Mati, San Isidro, Lupon, and Banaybanay. Data was collected using a structured survey questionnaire covering feed conversion ratio, cost of production, operating margin, gross profit margin, return on investment, and return on revenue. Statistical analysis resulted in a strong, positive, and significant relationship between cost management indicators and profitability measures, where the profitability value indicates the level of statistical significance of the result of the data. The analysis indicates the importance of efficient resource allocation, efficient feed utilization, cost control, and continuous financial monitoring in sustaining a profitable swine production.

Abstract

This study examines how population size and GRDP per capita influence income disparity in East Java’s Metropolitan Cluster from 2020 to 2024. Inequality is salient because the cluster is a growth engine yet continues to face uneven income distribution. A descriptive quantitative approach is employed using panel data that combine time-series and cross-sectional observations from seven member regencies/municipalities. Income disparity is measured by the Gini ratio as the dependent variable, while the independent variables are population and GRDP per capita. Random Effects Model (REM) estimation indicates that population has no significant effect on income disparity, whereas GRDP per capita has a positive and significant effect. Jointly, both variables significantly affect income disparity. The findings suggest that growth reflected in higher GRDP per capita may widen inequality, underscoring the need for more inclusive regional development policies so benefits are shared more evenly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends related to the intention to use fitness applications through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The review was conducted by identifying, selecting, and evaluating relevant studies published between 2021 and 2025 using Google Scholar, Scopus, and SINTA databases. A total of 17 articles met the inclusion and quality assessment criteria. The results indicate that the UTAUT2 model is the most frequently used model in studies on fitness application usage intention. Several UTAUT2 variables, including Performance Expectancy, Hedonic Motivation, and Habit, are identified as the most dominant factors influencing usage intention. In addition, PLS-SEM is the most commonly applied data analysis method. This study is expected to serve as a reference in determining relevant models, variables, and research methods for future studies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of accounting digitalization on the financial management of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), with financial literacy as a moderating variable in Palembang City. The study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 121 SME owners located in Sukarami, Ilir Timur I, and Ilir Timur II districts. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that accounting digitalization has a positive and significant effect on SME financial management. In addition, financial literacy also has a positive and significant effect on SME financial management. The moderation analysis shows that financial literacy moderates the relationship between accounting digitalization and financial management with a weakening effect. This finding suggests that at higher levels of financial literacy, SMEs tend to be less dependent on accounting digitalization. This study emphasizes the importance of balancing the implementation of accounting technology with the enhancement of financial literacy among SME owners.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the SIA for general patient drug sales at Pusri Hospital in Palembang, which uses the Neural Universal Healthcare Application (NUHA) system. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation in the pharmacy, cashier, and finance units. The results indicate that the NUHA system has been used to support the integrated medicine sales and transaction recording process. However, the SIA is not yet fully optimal because several obstacles still impact the smoothness of medicine sales and the quality of service to patients. This study discusses these obstacles and the efforts that can be made to overcome them. It is hoped that this system can be used as material for evaluation and development of SIA in the future.

Abstract

This This study aims to develop a conceptual model to explain the influence of influencers, digital promotion, and style perception on Generation Z’s purchase decisions in the fashion industry. The scope of the research focuses on purchasing behavior of sweetwear fashion products, which are trend-based and shaped by the digital ecosystem. This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design through the development of a conceptual model based on a synthesis of recent literature. The model integrates external factors, namely influencers and digital promotion, with an internal factor, namely style perception. The findings indicate that influencers act as social reference sources that build trust, digital promotion increases exposure and perceived value, while style perception strengthens the alignment between products and Generation Z’s self-identity. The study concludes that Generation Z’s purchase decisions are multidimensional and influenced by the interaction of social, digital, and symbolic factors, making this conceptual model relevant as a foundation for future empirical research.
