Abstract

Independent learning which has been rolled out since 2019 until this research was conducted has not shown a change in the attitude of teachers' teaching and independent student learning. The teacher's limited understanding of the concept of independent learning results in teachers finding it difficult to apply independent learning as they should. This writing answers the question of how teachers define independent learning and why teachers find it difficult to apply independent learning. The independent learning program aims to provide freedom of thought for teachers and students without being burdened by grades. The research location is SMA Negeri 2 Amahai Central Maluku. This type of research is qualitative where the teacher is the focus of the research and uses primary and secondary data. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of the study show that there are three important elements that trigger teacher difficulties in defining and applying the concept of independent learning, namely 1) the teacher's long experience with conventional teaching and learning processes and being confronted with the concept of independent learning that has never been 2) the teacher's understanding is still limited about the meaning, the basis and principles of independent learning, and 3) the teacher lacks mastery of environmental and instrumental factors, for example, the curriculum and learning model of independent learning. Freedom of learning in reality is still understood in a limited way at the implementation level. Likewise with the immature teacher's readiness to apply learning with the concept of independent learning. It turns out that not all teachers know the concept of independent learning. The interpretation that professional teachers easily understand and apply independent learning in reality is not true. Independent learning is not mere science but procedural knowledge so that it is necessary to master factual understanding and experience about independent learning. Taking into account the limitations of time and research methods, it is necessary to carry out further research by paying attention to the quantitative elements of and the absorption of meaning and implementation of independent learning from teachers and students.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the role of Guruw Midras for Bumiputera education in Amboina. This paper refers to the principles of historical research by utilizing Colonial archival sources, churches and newspapers in the nineteenth century. Through the education route, NZG envoys also gave birth to Midrash teachers who participated in the struggle to educate the Bumuputera people throughout the country. The dynamics of the socio-cultural development of the Amboina people cannot be separated from their role, the schools they care for play a significant role in the life of the congregation and evangelism in the Amboina region. The role of the Guruw Midras was to become a bridge between the Colonial and the government of the country and the people of the Country, this was proven by the additional duties besides their main duties being teachers and ushers in the congregation, their duty to record and report every event that occurred in the country where the Guru Midras was assigned. The emergence of the term Guru Midras can be accessed after the founding of Kam's Institute which was founded in the early XIX century, as well as being the beginning of the period in this paper. However, Guruw Midras' progress also depended heavily on Colonial political policies, one of which was Liberal political policies until the end of the nineteenth century which is also the end of the period in this paper.

Abstract

The discourse of "identity" becomes a crucial issue when it is in the global realm (globalization). The battle begins in various cultural arenas by adopting cultural components as self-image for legitimacy. Not only that, because cultural awareness is also modified, elaborated into various typifications that aim to influence and invite the attention of the outside world. This is the way in which identity becomes something that is contested. The term identity is very attached to certain entities, is interdependence and in contact with local culture, including art as a symbol of self-expression. Art in Indonesia as a cultural component is part of the formation of self-identity, but the fact is that when faced with the domination of Western arts, Indonesian art is increasingly dwarfed, why is that? because art in Indonesia is sometimes drowned in the flow of globalization. The originality of traditional (Indonesian) art is reduced to being packaged in the rules of Western art. This article intends to provide an explanation of how art in Indonesia, in its diversity and complexity, can be seen as a medium for building an ethnic identity that contributes to strengthening national identity.

Therefore, there is a need for Andikpas coaching, especially character building at the Special Children's Correctional Institution (LPKA) so that Andikpas becomes a good and responsible member of society. To achieve this goal, coaching management needs to be done well, so that the results of coaching have a long-term effect and can have a positive impact on all andikpas. Abstract

Various facts and experiences show that the negative impacts of development cause development goals to improve people's welfare to be delayed or not achieved. In preparing development policies with an environmental perspective, environmental considerations become a subsystem that is included in economic development and human resource development. Apart from conquering and fighting for the environment, there is still one more thing that can be done to save the environment, namely designing a sustainable life. The assumption is that if development does not pay attention to the quality of the environment, then the depreciation of natural resources will become increasingly evident. Therefore, the balance between the social environment, the built environment and the natural environment needs to be known and taken into account empirically and objectively in environmentally sound development. This research contains studies related to the Application of Environmental Ethics that must be developed by humans. Humans need to see and understand that a damaged environment is not only part of human moral and ethical responsibility for nature and God's creation that is not damaged, but has become the responsibility of the Christian faith. God the Great Creator. Ecosystem crisis, especially regarding the exploitation of natural resources and pollution, has ethical implications, especially regarding human attitudes and behavior towards nature. This is covered in what is called environmental ethics (eco-ethics).This environmental ethics arises because it is driven by social issues that arise as a result of excessive exploitation of natural resources which has an impact on decreasing environmental quality and pollution. Where environmental ethics is a reflection of humans and nature (environment) which understands that humans and the environment have a close relationship.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that is the lungs of the world. This nation has extraordinary environmental potential, in the form of natural resource conditions, demographic conditions and geographical conditions that are not shared by other countries. Managing nature is something that has become a tradition and has also become an identity in an area, especially the Hoyane village community which is the object of research where the Hoyane people have a habit of opening new land every year for field rice planting, resulting in land degradation. Soil is very important and beneficial for human life. One of the important functions of soil is to store water reserves. Humans, who are God's glorious creations, clearly have a considerable influence on the environment, both directly and indirectly. Humans who are given the mandate to manage nature see it as an object that can be exploited to meet human needs. So in this way humans manage nature without looking at the potential for natural damage. Christianity believes that God gave nature for humans to manage and preserve. Wrong understanding often leads to wrong behavior in the use of nature, Christianity needs to provide a preventive view, as well as a repressive view of how human behavior should be towards nature. It is hoped that this paper will provide enlightenment and provide a new understanding of the environment in which we live and respect nature, because any human being, whether from students or uneducated, from rich or poor, from children or adults, certainly has the potential to destroy nature. and even become a source of problems for the natural environment. It is from this fact that the authors are interested in examining it using descriptive qualitative methods to provide education for the community.
