Abstract

This study aims to explore the democratic learning process at SMA Kolese De Britto Yogyakarta as an effort to find a democratic way in the learning system in schools. The research method used in this research is naturalistic qualitative research in order to analyze learning that is democratic in a natural (natural setting). The subjects in this study were the principal, administrative staff, teachers, and students. The object of research is the overall symptoms and democratic behavior in curriculum orientation and the learning process. The subjects in this study were the principal, administrative staff, teachers, and students. The results of the research can be described as follows: 1) the democratic learning process in schools is carried out by grounding the school environment into a social world by promoting free and responsible learning processes. Teachers and students become democratic actors who free themselves from the influence of indoctrination and authority, 2) a democratic curriculum characterizes small people who live with social structures and behaviors. Upholding human rights through the human education system mechanism. Learning activities emphasize proactive dialogue through problem solving and critical thinking, group work and social skill development, and 3) the role of teachers and students, relating and interacting with mutual influence, interdependence, participation and cooperative behavior. The teacher provides a pathway for students to explore students' own values, meanings, and choices by working together to develop learning steps.

Abstract

The world is a place for the church to carry out its ministry. Along with that, the world will continue to experience changes and developments in all aspects of life. The various problems that occur in this world also affect the existence of the church, both positive and negative. The trials of Jesus that Jesus experienced in the wilderness explain several things, namely: The trials in the wilderness have shown that as the Son of God, Jesus showed His obedience to the Father, in fulfilling the Messianic work He would do. Second, Jesus is the Son of God who came to fulfill the prophecy in the PL. The evangelist Matthew wanted to emphasize that Jesus was greater than Adam and Moses, as well as the nation of Israel. If Adam, Moses, and the Israelites failed to show obedience to God in the face of temptation, then Jesus showed His obedience to God, so He overcame the temptation of the devil. Third, Jesus defeated the devil, and Jesus' victory became the way for Him to deliver those who were oppressed and taken captive by the devil. The only purpose of the devil is to make people submit and worship him. The temptations offered by the devil to Jesus are often experienced by believers today. These materials are, economics (Matt. 4: 2-3), Position (Matt. 4: 5-7), Power (Matt. 4: 8-10). Learning from Jesus' attitude in the face of trials, Christians must be critical of the problems that arise, and always lean on God.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic which has temporarily hit human life not only has a negative impact in the field of education, but also has a positive impact, where families are given large space and time to return to playing their duties and responsibilities as the main basis of education for children including carrying out character education. Character education models that can be carried out by families, in this case parents and adults for children, include worshiping together, loving and guiding, admonishing when children make mistakes, habituation and modeling. So that parents can do their role well as educators, parents need to be nurtured and trained to have good and correct knowledge and skills about character education. Therefore, it takes cooperation that always exists between parents, school and church.

Abstract

In general, tradition is born from a community habit that is continuously carried out which shapes the people's way of life. These habits have become a pattern of life and are made as an inheritance from our ancestors so that they are preserved and maintained as their shapes and patterns are adjusted to the times, even though the patterns are maintained as original as possible over time. Thus, the oral tradition as the nation's cultural wealth is one of the valuable forms of regional cultural expression, because it does not only store the cultural values ??of a traditional society, but also becomes the cultural root of a new society. So on that basis the oral tradition is able to record and document all events and incidents in oral form and become a narrative history as an oral cultural heritage. Likewise, “the various expressions of society that are expressed in the oral tradition do not only contain fairy tales, mythology, or legends as they are generally interpreted, but also concerning the cognitive system of society, sources of identity, means of expression, religious and belief systems, formation and enforcement of customs. Customs, history, law, medicine, beauty, creativity, community origins, and local wisdom regarding ecology and the environment. is teaching that has the character of advice or teaching and stays different from the word 'gomo which only has a single meaning, namely advice while it is associated with the word' gomo wene which means teaching about advice. Therefore, 'gomo wene' is part of the continuous teaching carried out by parents to the younger generation, especially to boys as the heir to the values ??of cultural traditions orally.

Abstract

The context of learning during the Covid-19 emergency requires learning to be carried out from home or distance learning. Distance learning requires students to be able to manage their own learning, in addition, digital literacy is needed for students to be able to access the learning process and information and select the information needed. The ability to organize them in learning and good digital literacy will increase student achievement motivation. This study aims to determine: 1) The Effect of Self- Regulated Learning on Achievement Motivation of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 9 Ambon in the Distance Learning System, 2) The Effect of Digital Literacy Ability on Achievement Motivation of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 9 Ambon in Distance Learning System 3) The Influence of Self-Regulated Learning and Digital Literacy Ability on Achievement Motivation of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 9 Ambon in Distance Learning Systems. The method used is a quantitative method. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing used the SPSS version 21 program. The results show that: 1) there is an effect of self-regulated learning on achievement motivation, 2) there is an effect of digital literacy on student achievement motivation, and 3) there is an effect of simultaneous self-regulated learning and digital literacy towards the students’motivation of SMP Negeri 9 in distance learning system.

Abstract

The starting point of this article is from the many social problems that arise from the practice of interest is completely uncontrolled. There are many impacts they pose, among others: the impoverishment and injustice. Various parties should be responsible instead tend not to care, even a fully devolved to the legal requirements prevailing market. Therefore, here I see the importance of a biblical basis that can later be used as a theological reference for market participants and churches in arranging this interest practices. Interpretation rational Socio-Historical approach for Deuteronomy 23: 19-20 (20-21) to find the deepest meaning of Scripture in regulating the practice of this kind, for the sake of a fair coexistence and peace. As such, it encourages every business person to engage in business within the legal and sovereignty of the country, and readers (or churches) are constantly reminded to encourage the nation and the church to organize its economic system that adheres to the basic principles of life preservation.

Abstract

The global world at the end of 2019 was shocked by the pandemic caused by the Corona Virus. Until now the case of COVID-19 (coronavirus) has become a global pandemic, especially in Indonesia. Large-scale social restrictions are the impact of the ongoing spread of the corona virus (Covid-19). Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is causing global concern because of its very fast and deadly spread. The government is promoting social distancing/physical distancing policies, reducing crowds to minimize the development of Covid-19. The Indonesian people accepted the recommendation but there were several reactions such as panic buying, persecution of health workers who were assumed to be exposed to Covid-19. Government regulations have restricted social gatherings, both in public places and in churches. Finally, worship was held in their respective homes online using internet-based technology to carry out worship in order to break the chain of the spread of this virus.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the PKAUD study program, Faculty of Christian Education (FIPK) IAKN AMBON, with the aim of developing character values ??through teaching materials in the Educational Game Tools (APE) course. The implementation of character education through the Educational Game Tool (APE) course is in addition to making students master the targeted competencies (materials), it is also designed to make students recognize, realize / care about life values ??that make them able to behave well by showing the character of responsibility. , communicative and creative. The integration of character education in the learning process is carried out starting from the planning, implementation (presenting), practice and evaluation stages of learning. From the data obtained in this study, it shows that with the teaching materials of educational game tools in the types of APE, the characters expected from within students through APE practice activities, namely the character of responsibility, creative character and communicative character can be said to appear 75%. at each stage for four meetings

Abstract

Worship is a part of a people's response to God's love and grace. The home and the church become a family as the church that allows fellowship to be established in building faith and trust to the response of God's love and creation for humans and Christian teaching is carried out. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, church activities and related services must be carried out in other forms, namely by doing worship in their home and it was guided by a liturgy that has been prepared and provided by the Synod and Klasis. Worship at home by involving children who have a different character and spiritual growth based on their era. Menconi in his efforts towards an intergenerational church gave an area of service in the church, namely: Intergenerational worship which then became the writer's scalpel in analyzing research data and described qualitatively. The results of this research become a reference when the church implements worship at home during a pandemic, so the family is called the center of early education for a child and by worshiping at home, it can be said that there is a division of roles in worship together within the family. All of the families s in turn are given roles and functions to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the service. It has a positive impact where family fellowship is used as the initial basis for growth and development in ministry. The Children will understand about worship is an inseparable part of the reality of life and the challenges faced during a pandemic. This is a concern and the role of the church as an institution to assist the government in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic by reducing the number of people exposed or dying, and the church as a community remains awake and it does not eliminate the meaning of worship itself by worshiping at home.

Abstract

This research was conducted with a case study. The subject is a class II SLB student in Yogyakarta. The subject has an IQ intelligence level of 36 on the Binet Scale, which means that the subject's cognitive ability is far below that of children his age. The problems experienced by the subject can be overcome by good cooperation between parents and teachers at school. Obstacles on the subject in focusing attention and the subject's inability to write, read and the subject's inability to communicate makes the subject have to take special education in special schools (SLB) and are categorized as children with moderate mental retardation or also known as mental retardation. The intervention given to the subject is occupational therapy, while parents and teachers at school are individual counseling. The results after the intervention for 6 months, the subject was able to concentrate more, was able to recognize some letters and numbers.
