<![CDATA[This study analyzes the representation of social care in the film A Man Called Otto through a semiotic approach of Charles Sanders Pierce. The object of this research is the film A Man Called Otto, with the aim of identifying and interpreting the signs, symbols, and meanings contained within it related to the representation of social care. The research method used is semiotic analysis, which involves identifying iconic, indexical, and symbolic signs in the film, as well as interpreting meanings based on cultural and social contexts. The results of the study show that the film A Man Called Otto represents social care in various ways, including through the main character's actions in helping neighbors, interactions between diverse characters, and the transformation of Otto's character from an indifferent individual to a more caring one.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia, as an archipelagic country, has a vast maritime area, making it a significant route for international shipping. One of the essential regulations in managing Indonesia's waters is the establishment of the Indonesian Archipelagic Sea Lanes (ALKI), aimed at regulating foreign ship passage rights. This study focuses on Indonesia's efforts to designate the Lombok Strait as a Particularly Sensitive Sea Area (PSSA) to protect the marine ecosystem and biodiversity in the region. The research employs a normative legal research method with a statute-based approach, analyzing both national and international regulations related to marine protection, such as UNCLOS, MARPOL, and SOLAS. The study's findings indicate that the PSSA designation in the Lombok Strait aims not only to preserve the environment but also to support the economic sustainability dependent on the region, such as tourism and fisheries. Additionally, the challenges in implementing this policy include coordination among countries and compliance with existing international regulations]]>

<![CDATA[Rampak Buto Gedruk dance stands out as a prominent traditional art form in Jetis Village, Loano District, Purworejo, characterized by its powerful, energetic movements that demand exceptional physical stamina. Maintaining consistency in movement among dancers is paramount for preserving the aesthetic appeal and visual impact of each performance, which includes ensuring rhythmic uniformity, technical precision, and stable formations. However, achieving this consistency presents several challenges, notably physical fatigue and disruptions in concentration. This study aimed to thoroughly describe the specific strategies employed by Rampak Buto Gedruk dancers, particularly within the Langen Turonggo Sari Arts Community, to uphold dance movement consistency and effectively address the difficulties they encounter. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative research method, data were meticulously gathered through direct observation, comprehensive interviews with the community head, trainers, and dancers, alongside careful documentation conducted within Jetis Village. The findings reveal that the primary strategies adopted encompass routine and structured practice sessions designed to strengthen muscle memory; a detailed evaluation of movements through video recordings and personalized feedback from trainers as well as fellow dancers; a strong emphasis on maintaining optimal physical and mental well-being; and cultivating the ability to adapt seamlessly to diverse stage conditions and the inherent pressures of live performance. Collectively, these strategic approaches empower the dancers to navigate both technical and non-technical obstacles, thereby ensuring the continuous preservation and the highest quality presentation of Rampak Buto Gedruk danceas an invaluable cultural heritage of Jetis Village.]]>

<![CDATA[This study investigates the effect of gender diversity and age diversity on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The aim of this research is to determine whether gender and age diversity on the board have an influence on decision-making that affects the company's financial performance. This is an associative-quantitative study using multiple regression analysis, with data processed using the EViews program. The results of the study show that gender diversity and age diversity of the board have an insignificant effect on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted with a back analysis on the pit 1 slopes of PT Bukit Asam, TBK where material deformation occurred due to saturation from material above the slope that previously contained a settling pond holding water from other pits. Slope stability analysis is necessary to achieve a stable slope geometry with FoS >1.25. The analysis performed for determining this FoS involves back analysis to obtain stable slope geometry and to calculate changes in coal recovery due to geometric changes in the excavation slope. This study aims to analyze slope stability to obtain actual geotechnical parameters in the excavation slopes affected by water and their safety factors, as well as to analyze changes in mining recovery due to changes in slope geometry. Slope stability determination is carried out by conducting analysis. This research aims to analyze slope stability to obtain actual geotechnical parameters in excavated slopes influenced by water and their safety factors, as well as to conduct an analysis to determine changes in mining recovery due to changes in slope geometry. The determination of slope stability is carried out by performing a back analysis on the excavated slopes that have experienced deformation, resulting in new geotechnical parameters that have been degraded. The degradation of geotechnical parameters on the slope of Pit 1 excavation resulted in a decrease in cohesion (C) by 63% from 77.14 Kpa to 28.26 Kpa, and the internal friction angle (Ǿ) decreased by 32% from 27.16° to 18.35°. The degradation of geotechnical parameters on the slope of Pit 1 caused a mining recovery decrease of 61.7%, where the initial pit slope plan of Pit 1 was expected to yield 4,750,000 tons of coal, while the revised pit slope plan of Pit 1 yielded 2,820,000 tons of coal.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan pengajuan keberatan di Kantor Pelayanan Utama Bea dan Cukai Tipe A Tanjung Priok. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini melibatkan tujuh orang informan yang terdiri dari petugas di bidang keberatan serta pengguna layanan, sehingga data yang diperoleh bersumber langsung dari pihak-pihak yang terlibat secara aktif dalam proses pelayanan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kualitas layanan pengajuan keberatan di Kantor Pelayanan Utama Bea dan Cukai Tipe A Tanjung Priok tersebut telah berjalan cukup baik. Hal ini tercermin dari aspek daya tanggap dan empati petugas yang dinilai positif oleh para pengguna layanan. Petugas dinilai cukup sigap dalam memberikan informasi, merespon pertanyaan, serta memperhatikan kebutuhan pengguna layanan dengan sikap yang ramah dan profesional. Meski demikian, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa kendala yang masih perlu diperbaiki. Beberapa pengguna layanan mengeluhkan masih adanya kekurangan dalam hal kelengkapan dokumen pendukung yang sering menyebabkan keterlambatan proses. Selain itu, sarana dan prasarana seperti area parkir yang dinilai masih kurang memadai dalam menunjang kenyamanan pengguna layanan. Dengan demikian, peningkatan pada aspek-aspek pendukung ini menjadi hal yang penting guna mendorong terselenggaranya layanan keberatan yang lebih berkualitas di masa mendatang.]]>

<![CDATA[This research examines the phenomenon of dangdut music adaptation within the traditional art form of Kubro Siswo in Gunung Lemah Hamlet, Magelang Regency, now known as "BRODUT" or Kubro Dangdut. The study's objective is to identify the forms of dangdut music adaptation implemented in Kubro Siswo art, driven by the challenge traditional arts face in maintaining relevance amidst modernization and changing public tastes. Employing a qualitative musicological approach to allow for in-depth analysis of the music within a community's folk songs, data was collected through observation, structured and unstructured interviews with the chairman and music arranger of New Argo Mudo, and documentation. The findings reveal that the New Argo Mudo Art Group successfully adapted dangdut music by incorporating modern instruments like electric guitar, bass, keyboard/organ, drums, dangdut flute, and ketipung, without abandoning Kubro Siswo's original principles. This adaptation led to changes in the patterns, rhythms, and melodies of the performance, creating a distinctive dangdut groove with richer melodic and harmonic variations, thus making the performances more dynamic and engaging. Ultimately, this research concludes that with creativity and appropriate adaptation, traditional arts can continue to thrive and remain relevant through evolving times.]]>

<![CDATA[Central Java. One of the cultural groups that continues to preserve the existence of Dolalak is the Arum Manis group. The Dolalak Dance performed by the Arum Manis group uses the logungan style, also known as the Kulonan version, which symbolizes strength and resilience. The logung movement is derived from martial arts or pencak silat movements that have been slowed down and simplified. This study aims to describe the choreography of Dolalak Dance as performed by the Arum Manis group in Kutoarjo Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency. The choreography in this research refers to the theory proposed by Y. Sumandiyo Hadi (2012:41). The study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnocoreological approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed qualitatively using triangulation techniques. This research was conducted at the Arum Manis group in Pacor Village, Kutoarjo Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency. The results of the study show that the choreographic process of Dolalak Dance in the Arum Manis group consists of three main stages: (1) exploration, (2) improvisation, and (3) formation. <![CDATA[The purpose of the study was to analyze how the role of the principal in improving the quality of education at the driving school of State Junior High School 4 Kuala, Nagan Raya Regency. The research method is qualitative descriptive. Informants consisted of the principal, vice principal, deputy curriculum and driving teacher. Data collection using interviews, observation and documentation and analysis is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study indicate that the role of the principal as a manager in improving the Quality of Education at the driving school of State Junior High School 4 Kuala is to make planning, implementation, supervision of all activities, All problems in the school are resolved by all school residents, Instilling a disciplined attitude with a systemic system. The role of the principal as an administrator in improving the Quality of Education at the driving school of State Junior High School 4 Kuala is administrative equipment and checking the completeness of teaching and learning activities, student equipment, finance, infrastructure, public relations, correspondence, routine library and laboratory services, curriculum administration. The role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the Quality of Education at the driving school of State Junior High School 4 Kuala is to prepare an education supervision program, supervision of the implementation of teaching and learning, supervision of learning devices, utilizing the results of supervision.]]>

<![CDATA[Motivasi berprestasi merupakan salah satu variabel yang menentukan keberhasilan seseorang dalam meraih tujuan tertentu. Motivasi berprestasi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, baik faktor internal maupun eksternal. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah melakukan analisis faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika Politeknik Negeri Indramayu. Responden dalam peneitian yaitu 108 mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika Politeknik Negeri Indramayu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh 12 faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika Politeknik Negeri Indramayu, antara lain: keaktifan organisasi, dukungan keluarga, fasilitas pembelajaran, dukungan teman sebaya, optimisme, resiliensi, kemampuan coping, stres akademik, kepercayaan diri, efikasi, konsep diri, dan perseverance.
