Abstract

Distribusi hasil hutan yang efisien sangat penting bagi perusahaan kehutanan untuk menekan biaya operasional. Studi ini membahas optimasi biaya distribusi kayu oleh perusahaan Kayu Somel dari dua lokasi produksi (Koya dan Arso 1) ke dua titik permintaan (Dok 2 dan Dok 8) menggunakan model transportasi dengan metode North West Corner (NWC). Metode NWC digunakan untuk menentukan solusi awal alokasi distribusi yang memenuhi batasan supply dan demand tanpa mempertimbangkan biaya pada tahap awal. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, total biaya distribusi awal yang diperoleh adalah Rp16.600.000. Namun, evaluasi optimalitas menggunakan metode U-V menunjukkan bahwa solusi awal ini belum optimal, ditandai dengan adanya nilai evaluasi negatif pada salah satu sel kosong. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode optimasi lanjutan seperti MODI atau Stepping Stone untuk mencapai biaya distribusi minimum yang optimal. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran awal mengenai perencanaan logistik yang terstruktur dan dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pengambilan keputusan distribusi perusahaan hasil hutan.   Kata kunci: transportasi, North West Corner, biaya distribusi, optimasi, Kayu Somel.

Abstract

The digital era demands innovation in English language learning that not only focuses on linguistic competence but also integrates cultural literacy and soft skills. Web-based collaborative learning platforms become a solution to create an authentic and interactive learning environment. This study aims to develop the initial KITABOOKA platform as a collaborative English learning medium that integrates cultural literacy and soft skills through a web-based mentoring program using the Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model. The research uses an R&D approach with the ADDIE model. However, in this study, we only use the first three stages (Analysis, Design, Development). Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and observations from 25 respondents consisting of students, university students, lecturers, and English teachers. Based on the analysis of user needs, this platform needs to be equipped with key features such as a learning module, English language learning activities, cultural literacy features, soft skills enhancement features, digital mentoring system features, and other general supporting features. Additionally, validation by seven experts showed that the initial design of the KITABOOKA platform received an average score of 4.55, categorized as very valid, covering aspects of content, appearance, technical, pedagogical, and usability. The analysis of the needs from users and experts indicates that the KITABOOKA platform already meets the feasibility standards as a collaborative digital learning platform and is ready to proceed to the limited testing phase in the next study.

Abstract

The quality of cocoa fruit is an important factor in supporting productivity and market value in the agricultural sector. The determination of superior cocoa fruit, which has so far been done manually, is still subjective and inefficient. This study aims to develop an expert system to classify superior cocoa fruit using the Fuzzy Logic method with the Mamdani approach, based on physical parameters such as length, width, weight  and number of seeds. The research was conducted in Genggelang Village, Senara Hamlet, North Lombok, using 50 cocoa fruit samples from various varieties. The system was designed using the Python programming language and a MySQL database and tested through the black box method and performance evaluation using a confusion matrix. The classification results show that the system is capable of identifying superior cocoa fruits with an accuracy of 71.7%. The high recall value for the 'superior' class indicates good system sensitivity, although precision can still be improved. Misclassifications generally occur in physical parameters that lie on the borderline between categories. This study demonstrates that the fuzzy logic method is effective in enhancing the objectivity and efficiency of cocoa fruit classification. The developed system can serve as a potential tool to support decision-making in technology-based agriculture.

Abstract

General elections constitute a fundamental pillar of democracy, necessitating objective and transparent administration mechanisms, particularly through the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS). This research develops a web-based decision support system (DSS) to facilitate the Voting Committee (PPS) in selecting KPPS members utilizing the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. The system was designed employing the Waterfall development model with web-based architecture implemented through PHP programming language and MySQL database management system. The findings indicate that the system significantly enhances objectivity and transparency in the KPPS member selection process. The system proves to be effective, readily adaptable, and substantially improves organizational accountability.
