Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of technology and information, the concept of informal communication such as online discussions has developed until the term E-WOM (electronic word of mouth) emerged. Apart from that, E-WOM allows a consumer to determine whether to buy a product from a brand and find out the advantages or disadvantages. This product. The presence of thrifting makes it an alternative, especially for teenagers, to be able to get fashion according to their tastes. The quality offered by thrifting sellers is no less competitive than other new clothing. Therefore, the aim of this research was to determine the relationship between electronic word of mouth and the decision to purchase thrifting products on Instagram social media. This research uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique used was non-probability purposive sampling, the sample taken was 35 public respondents who had seen or bought thrifting products on Instagram. The data collection method used a questionnaire via Google Form. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between electronic word of mouth and the decision to purchase thrifting products on Instagram social media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of wasilah da'wah in an ontological structure with special emphasis on the theoretical framework of Islamic turās. Wasilah da'wah, also known as media or means, plays an important role in improving the efficiency of da'wah activists in carrying out their duties. However, a lack of understanding of the nature of wasilah da'wah is one of the factors causing the lack of effectiveness and efficiency in da'wah. Previous research has focused more on the epistemology and axiology aspects of waṣīlah al-da'wah, but not much on the basic concept (ontology) in the conceptual framework of Islamic turās. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis as its research design. Data and findings were obtained from primary sources collected through document analysis from relevant literature books, journals, theses, dissertations, conference papers, and magazines. Thematic analysis was used to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in qualitative data. The results of this study reveal that wasilah da'wah is a means that brings people closer to the purpose of da'wah. In the current era of the information and communication revolution, the use of modern media provides great opportunities for preachers to spread the message of Islam effectively. In their duty as messengers of Allah, preachers must utilize these technological advances wisely. This research provides a deeper theoretical understanding of the concept of wasilah da'wah within the framework of Islamic turās. It is hoped that this research can contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of da'wah, as well as enriching the discourse of da'wah science related to the concept of wasilah.

Abstract

Ahead of the general election, the third edition of the debate between presidential candidate Anies Baswedan. This debate is related to the work program that will be carried out after being elected as president of the Republic of Indonesia. The third edition of the debate with the theme "Defense, Security, Geopolitics, and International Relations" has one of the debates that invites pros and cons. The audience feels empathy with the debate because of that. The micro, macro, and superstructure structures surrounding the debate between presidential candidate Anies Baswedan are revealed in this study. This descriptive qualitative study uses the Teun A. van Dijk model method. Data were taken from discussions in the debate. The results of the study indicate that advertisements have micro, macro, and superstructure components.

Abstract

The majority of various groups, including generation Z, choose a simple style of clothing as their daily clothing style with a percentage of 73%. On the other hand, Islamic clothing is often juxtaposed with the idea of ​​"fast fashion" which aims to combine modesty with a fashionable style. very popular with generation Z. The externalization of The Nuruls' clothing style in this case can be seen in their efforts to balance the diversity of global fashion trends with religious obligations. The aim of this research is to determine the process of externalizing Nurul's fashion style in generation Z in Islamic clothing. This research method uses qualitative methods. The results suggest that Generation Z's externalization process involves observing, adopting, and expressing external inspiration into the individual's personal style identity. In conclusion, there are significant changes in the clothing style of generation Z in Bogor Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the Self-Concept of Women in Gunung Menyan Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. This study uses the phenomenological method of the technique used, namely interviews with 2 female women who died and 2 women who were left divorced. The results of this study found that the self-concept of women left behind has a positive self-concept, while women left divorced have a negative self-concept, but there are also those who have a positive self-concept. women who have a positive self-concept tend to apply a consensual family communication pattern and women who have a negative self-concept tend to apply a protective family communication pattern.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence students' reading interest at the Darul Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School in the digital era. Students' interest in reading is an important aspect in increasing knowledge and literacy skills, but the presence of digital technology often becomes a significant distraction. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to students. Several main factors analyzed include the availability of access to digital information, the role of caregivers and teachers in guiding literacy, the influence of the Islamic boarding school environment, and the tendency to use social media by students. The research results show that easy access to digital content can reduce interest in reading printed books, but the literacy coaching factor from caregivers and teachers has a positive influence in maintaining students' interest in reading. This research recommends the integration of technology in literacy-based learning to increase students' reading interest in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze parental perceptions regarding the use of gadgets by early childhood learners, as well as how such practices are applied at PAUD Nurul Falah, Pamijahan, Bogor. In today’s digital era, gadgets have become an integral part of daily life, including in the routines of young children. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with parents and teachers, and documentation of learning activities. The findings reveal that many parents view gadgets positively, particularly as educational tools that can introduce children to basic concepts such as letters, numbers, and language through interactive content. However, some parents expressed concerns over the potential negative impacts of gadget use, such as dependency, reduced social interaction, and behavioral issues. The degree of parental supervision, frequency of use, and the parents’ level of digital literacy were found to be crucial factors in determining the outcomes of gadget usage. This study highlights the importance of active parental involvement in managing and guiding children’s gadget use to ensure its benefits are maximized while minimizing the associated risks. Abstract

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the conflicts in the Middle East. So far no conflict has ended and no meeting has been found. This research aims to analyze the impact of the concentration of "Save Palestine" posts on social media on the behavior of housewives in the development of the boycott of Israeli goods in the Leuwiliang area. The basis of this research is the increasing open attention to the Palestinian issue and how social media plays a role in social mobilization and changes in consumer behavior. The survey strategy used was research with a quantitative approach, involving 50 housewives as tests, selected randomly from the survey range. Information was collected through a survey which aims to determine the frequency of visits to social media related to Palestine as well as attitudes and activities towards boycotting Israeli products. to determine the influence between social media access concentration factors and boycott behavior. The research results show that the intensity of accessing Save Palestine posts on social media has a significant influence on the behavior of housewives in the movement to boycott Israeli products. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the variable intensity of accessing posts X and the behavior of housewives in the movement to boycott Israeli products Y has an influence.

Abstract

Culture is a very fundamental thing in an effort to build the personality of a person or a community. Culture is not only understood as a heritage passed down from generation to generation, but also as a result of dynamic interactions between individuals and groups in social, political, and economic contexts. In the current era of globalization, communication has a very important role in shaping the cultural identity of a society. Islamic communication is one of the effective means to reproduce and reconstruct culture. Reproduction and cultural reconstruction are two important concepts that are interconnected in understanding social dynamics and communication. In the context of Islam, these two concepts play an important role in the spread of the teachings, values, and norms that shape muslim society. The purpose of this journal is to explore how cultural reproduction and reconstruction occur in Islamic communication, as well as its implications for social identity, values, and practices. The approach used in this study is a phenomenological qualitative research method, which is to describe and describe the problem being studied according to actual events. Data collection using library research methods. Discussion Results In the form of cultural reproduction, it refers to the ways in which a group or society transfers knowledge, values, beliefs, and practices that are considered important for its survival and identity. Meanwhile, cultural reconstruction involves efforts to maintain the identity of a group or society in the midst of change. With the existence of this journal, it is hoped that it can add insight, provide accurate information, and can be used as study material for da'wah activists and the community and the academic community.
