Abstract

Data for this research were gathered using the documentation study and literature study approaches.   The secondary data source was the company's 2022–2024 financial statements, which were made available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange's official website.   Both qualitative and quantitative data were used in this research, which also included descriptive statistics, the t test, f test, determination coefficient test, multiple linear regression analysis, ratio analysis methods, and the classical assumption test.   In this research, data is handled using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 27.  Purposive sampling, which selects samples based on predetermined criteria, is the sampling technique used.  According to the preset criteria, the study's sample consists of 20 firms that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and IDX-80 members.    The study's findings show that both the cash ratio and total asset turnover have a significant influence on the dividend payout ratio.   This implies that adjustments to these two factors may have an instant impact on how much the business pays out in dividends to its shareholders.    Changes in capital structure or asset usage efficiency do not immediately impact the company's dividend distribution policy, as shown by the fact that the Debt-to-Equity Ratio and Return on Asset have no discernible impact on the Dividend Payout Ratio.    Concurrently, the Cash Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Asset, and Total Asset Turnover all have a significant influence on the Dividend Payout Ratio, suggesting that these four factors alone may be sufficient to account for differences in the company's dividend distribution strategy.

Abstract

Tourism is widely recognized as a significant driver of economic growth and employment; however, the role of human resources is often narrowly framed in economic terms, with limited recognition of their broader social contributions. This study explores human resources as social assets in sustainable tourism by integrating the concepts of social capital, community-based tourism (CBT), and the Social Return on Investment (SROI) framework. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through a structured literature review, the study examines how education, training, and community participation function as strategic mechanisms to strengthen local capacities and generate multidimensional value for tourism destinations. The analysis highlights how human resource development enhances not only technical competencies and service quality but also social cohesion, trust, and collective action within host communities. Findings indicate that investment in human resources contributes not only to improved service quality and economic gains but also to stronger community cohesion, cultural preservation, empowerment of local actors, and inclusive development processes. The application of the SROI framework provides a systematic way to capture and measure these broader social, cultural, and economic impacts that are often overlooked in conventional tourism evaluations. This study emphasizes that people-centered investment strategies are fundamental to achieving long-term sustainability in tourism development. The study concludes that human resources must be positioned as catalysts for both social and economic value creation, with important implications for tourism policy, destination governance, and community-based development practices.

Abstract

The present research examines strategies to enhance the competitive advantage of women-managed fish processing enterprises in Depok Beach, Bantul, where female entrepreneurs play a vital role in the coastal economy but continue to face various structural constraints. Using Porter’s Five Forces model and a descriptive qualitative approach, the research reveals a moderate level of competition. The Threat of New Entrants is high due to low capital barriers and simple technology, resulting in product duplication. The Threat of Substitutes is also high, compounded by serious concerns over food safety which can shift consumer preferences. While the Bargaining Power of Suppliers and Buyers remains moderate to high due to volatile input prices and product homogeneity, Rivalry among Existing Competitors is low, mitigated by strong social cohesion and a collective pricing system. To ensure sustainability and enhance competitiveness, the study recommends strategies focused on strengthening product differentiation, ensuring rigorous quality standards especially in food safety, expanding digital marketing, and leveraging cooperative networks to stabilise supply chains and increase market power.

The population in this study consists of people in Pekanbaru City aged 17 to 40 years who have purchased, used, and intend to repurchase ESQA cosmetic products. The sampling in this study was conducted using a purposive sampling technique and the Hair formula, resulting in a total of 130 respondents. The data analysis method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS version 4.1.1.4 software. The results show that Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention and Consumer Trust in ESQA cosmetic products in Pekanbaru City. Brand Image does not have a significant effect on Repurchase Intention but has a significant effect on Consumer Trust. In addition, Consumer Trust is proven to have a significant effect on Repurchase Intention. Maximizing the Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) strategy through the use of social media and positive consumer reviews to enhance trust in the brand. Considering that Consumer Trust has been proven to be a key factor in driving Repurchase Intention, companies need to build stronger relationships with consumers through product transparency, consistent quality, and responsive service. Furthermore, although Brand Image does not directly affect Repurchase Intention, improving Brand Image remains important to strengthen consumer trust, which in turn can foster sustainable repurchase intentions.

Abstract

Creativity has become increasingly important for public sector organizations as they face complex policy demands, digital transformation, and heightened expectations for accountability and performance. However, creative performance among public employees is often constrained by rigid procedures and highly regulated work environments. This study aims to examine the effects of mindfulness and happiness at work on creative performance, with creative process engagement as a mediating mechanism, within a public sector context. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 176 employees of the Directorate General of Treasury, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, and mediation analysis. The findings indicate that mindfulness and happiness at work both have positive effects on creative performance. Happiness at work emerges as a stronger direct predictor of creativity, while mindfulness primarily influences creative performance through creative process engagement. Creative process engagement is confirmed as a key mechanism that translates psychological resources into creative outcomes. These results suggest that creativity in public sector organizations is best understood as a process-driven phenomenon, where positive psychological conditions must be accompanied by active engagement in creative work processes. The study offers practical insights for public organizations seeking to foster sustainable creativity under conditions of high regulation and formalization.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of remote and hybrid work arrangements has positioned remote leadership as a critical concern for higher education institutions and public-sector organizations worldwide. This study aims to map and compare the global research landscape on remote leadership by conducting a comparative bibliometric analysis between the Global South and the Global North. Using data retrieved from the Scopus database and analyzed with VOSviewer, the study examines publication trends, co-authorship networks, citation structures, and thematic evolution within the field. The findings indicate that remote leadership has emerged as a central and integrative concept, closely linked to e-leadership, virtual teams, and established leadership theories such as transformational and authentic leadership. More recent research increasingly emphasizes relational and human-centered themes, including communication, trust, and employee outcomes, particularly in higher education contexts. The analysis also reveals a strong concentration of knowledge production and collaboration networks in the Global North, while contributions from the Global South remain limited and contextually constrained by digital infrastructure and institutional capacity. Overall, this study provides a systematic overview of the intellectual structure and developmental trajectory of remote leadership research and highlights the need for more inclusive, context-sensitive, and regionally grounded scholarship to advance leadership theory and practice in digitally mediated public and educational organizations.
