Secara filosofis dan praktis, pendidikan nilai atau pendidikan karakter merupakan suatu proses pendidikan yang memiliki tingkat kompleksitas yang tinggi. Maksudnya untuk menjawab permasalahan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter pada individu, tidak akan ditemukan jawaban yang sederhana. Setidaknya ada tiga aspek yang menimbulkan perdebatan filosofis dan pragmatis. Pertama, menyangkut "pendidikan" yang kompleks karena melibatkan banyak segmen yang satu sama lain terkait secara sistemik; kedua, menyangkut "nilai" yang bersifat kompleks karena menimbulkan perdebatan filosofis yang belum selesai; dan ketiga, menyangkut "kepribadian" yang kompleks yang merupakan subjek aktif yang memiliki kehendak dan memiliki kesanggupan menentukan pilihan oleh dirinya. Meskipun demikian, pendidikan karakter harus dilakukan, karena karakter terbentuk dari proses interaksi dengan lingkungan luar. Sedangkan kepribadian sebagai realitas yang kompleks keterbentukannya pada diri seseorang melibatkan banyak faktor penentu. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan metodologi dalam pendidikan karakter perlu dilakukan terus menerus, yaitu dengan cara mengembangkan pola-pola pembelajaran yang tepat dengan tujuan sejati dari pendidikan nilai, yaitu dalam rangka membentuk karakter. Pola yang sudah berjalan dalan tradisi pendidikan di pesantren barangkali dapat menjadi suatu alternatif ditengah tidak adanya model-model yang memadai dalam membentuk karakter yang dicita-citakan. Hal ini karena ternyata Pesantren memiliki sesuatu “kearifan lokal,” (genius loci) sendiri yang bertahan dan menunjukkan hasil yang relatif lebih baik, dalam pembinaan karakter dibanding sistem lain yang jelas telah gagal dalam membentuk karakter bangsa. Komponen struktural yang keempat inilah yang menjadi motor penggerak keseluruhan kegiatan edukatif di Pondok Pesantren an-Nur, di mana nilai "ta'abbudi" (ritualitas), menjadi nilai kepentingan bagi segala perencanaan, rekayasa, pengelolaan dan pelaksanaan proses pendidikan. Itulah yang disebut dengan “spiritual paedagogis,” suatu upaya mendidik (me”manusia”kan manusia) yang berbasis pada nilai spiritual religius dari setiap fihak yang terlibat di dalamnya.

The development of thematic teaching materials for comic-based picture stories is one of the tools to help students understand learning. Facts in the field indicate that the learning process has not proceeded as desired, this is because the teacher and students only hold on the textbooks (student books and teacher books) provided by the teacher without being accompanied by supporting media when the teaching and learning process takes place so that children feel bored, unhappy, sleepy and lazy because there are no exciting media to support thematic learning in which there are several subjects. The purpose of this development is to produce products in the form of fun comic-based teaching materials making it easier for students to deepen the understanding of the environment around my home. The kind of research used by researchers is descriptive with qualitative and quantitative data analysis. This type of research is Research and Development, which refers to the Dick and Carrey model. The results of the research development of thematic teaching materials based on pictorial stories meet interesting criteria with the results of the content expert tests reaching 86% eligibility level, design experts reaching 92.5%, linguists reaching 80%, learning practitioners reaching 86%, and the results of field trials reaching 93 %, student learning outcomes on average post-test scores 72.68 and pre-test scores 97. From the explanation above, there are significant differences in student learning outcomes using thematic materials based on comic-based pictorial stories and those who do not use thematic-based thematic teaching materials pictorial. This shows that the product being developed has appropriateness of qualification because the concepts are in accordance with the characteristics of the child. Hence, the teaching material is suitable for use in learning.

PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS TEKS BERITA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL EXAMPLES NON EXAMPLES: DOI: https://doi.org/10.37850/cendekia.v12i1.80 Suwarno

This research report is motivated by 1) The process of learning Indonesian, especially aspects of writing skills in Class VIII A, SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran is still not satisfactory enough. The average score on the aspect of writing is still below the standard set at the beginning of the semester. 2) This requires the teacher to do remidial, however, sometimes the implementation of remedial is only a formality. Remedial is not done properly. Remedial is only done as a process of raising a child's value from a condition under minimal completeness to a condition of achieving minimal completeness. Research reports on learning to write news texts using the cooperative learning model Examples Non Examples through group assignments and individual assignments, researchers have done for up to two cycles. In each cycle there are four phases, namely (1) planning BP, (2) carrying out BP, (3) carrying out observations, and (4) making reflections. The four phases are planned and implemented to improve students' ability to write news texts through group assignments, and individual assignments using the Examples Non Examples model. The phases in the first cycle are designed as a result of reflection on daily learning activities. While the phases in the second cycle are designed from the results of the reflection of the first cycle, in this way it is expected that in the second cycle all students improve their ability to write news text with the Examples Non Examples model. From the results of the analysis of each cycle, it can be seen student learning outcomes have increased. In the pre-mastery stage students only scored 61% or enough categories, then in the first cycle the completeness value obtained by 72% was still sufficient category, at this stage increased by 11%. Then in cycle II the value of students' mastery learning increased even better than the first cycle, which is 89% and is included in the excellent category. In other words an increase of 27%, the 85% complete limit has been exceeded.

This research is aligned with the wishes of researchers to: 1) Develop a Cerber Method (Continuous Story) to increase the activities of students of Social Sciences Subjects in Class IX A Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran 2018/2019 Academic Year. (2) Knowing the Cerber Method (Continuous Story) can improve Student Learning Outcomes Achievement in Social Studies Subjects in Class IX A Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran 2018/2019 Academic Year. The activeness of students in asking from 30.43% in cycle 1 to 91.30% in cycle 2. The activeness of students in answering the original question 26.09% in cycle 1 to 86.96% in cycle 2. The activeness of students in expressing their original opinion was 30.43% in cycle 1 became 78.26% in cycle 2, so did the percentage of mastery learning 78.26% to 95.65% in cycle 2, the average grade of grade IX A was 75.00 in cycle 1 being the average grade of grade IX A was 94, 00 in cycle 2. The activeness of students also seems to be very enthusiastic in completing assignments given to students showing improvement from cycle I to Cycle II. From the results of interviews with students about the learning process that has been going on, the results are the same as in cycle 1, where all students express very happy. Thus, after analyzing the results of the second cycle, it was decided not to proceed to the next cycle because this research was considered complete. From the results of the analysis of the learning process carried out in cycle 1 and cycle 2 it can be concluded that the Cerber Method (Continuous Story) can increase the activity of Social Studies Subjects in Class IX A Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran 2018/2019 Academic Year. The Cerber Method (Continuous Story) can also improve the Achievement of Student Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Subjects in Class IX A Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran 2018/2019 Academic Year.

In the discourse of religious texts and in the reality of social life, the position of women is always marginalized, inferior, and always below men. This requires a review of religious texts which have so far been considered to perpetuate this gap and can place the right position of women. Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid offers the Method of Reading the Religious Texts of the Qur'anic Contextualization. With this method, it is known that the Koran actually positions the position of women as equal to men.

Gender equality movement is continuation of gender equality study. Although some religious exegesis -moreover those are done by classic muslim religious leader- gender biased up to now, study of religious texts done by muslim feminist was inspiring development of gender equality movement.Nowadays gender equality movement in Indonesia is in fourth level. The morality / character of the nation's students has collapsed. This is marked by the rise of bullying, child anarchism, mass contests, free sex and so on. Seeing the importance of the role of etiquette in human life, the education world should think more seriously about the concept of planting etiquette in its students, so that the introduction and cultivation of etiquette must begin at an early age. Rasulullah SAW has taught that the example is the main factor of success in educating children. Exemplary is also the best method in children's education, especially in the early childhood period. On this basis the research formulated the formulation of the problem namely (1) How is the concept of Adab in SDI Ar-Roudloh Miru? (2) How is the Implementation of Adab Based Education in SDI Ar-Roudloh Miru-Sekaran-Lamongan? This study uses qualitative research and case studies as its research design. Research subjects in this study were students at SDI Ar-Roudloh. Data collection techniques used were observation, semistructural interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data checking technique uses triangulation techniques. The results of this study include: (1) the formation of students' character at SDI Ar Roudloh is with the Applicative Religious concept. This is evidenced by the existence of Boarding School since students go up to fourth grade. This is expected to be more intensive in applying civilized values that are prioritized by the institution. The etiquette values emphasized and prioritized at SDI Ar Roudloh in this case are divided into three aspects namely; Judging from the pattern of attitudes and behavior to God, patterns of behavior to fellow human beings, patterns of behavior to nature. (2) in implementing civilized education for the formation of students' character by applying the religious concept with the details of the sub-chapters above, there are several stages in order to obtain maximum results, before implementing and informing the values of civilized education to students. In this case the researcher classifies into three stages; first; Socialization, second; Implementation and third; Evaluation.

The purpose of research is to describe the character education in the local wisdom-based literacy movement using text that is close to the environment of students and the implementation of character education in the local wisdom-based literacy movement. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation. Data were analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that character education in the literacy movement based on local wisdom is curiosity, communicative, fond of reading, discipline, creative and responsibility. The internalization of character educators in the literacy movement based on local wisdom is to use a variety of strategies such as utilizing texts from environmental observations that exist near students, regional saga texts and folklore. Evaluation is carried out by writing notes in the student's reading record book and data values to find out the competencies that have been mastered by students.

Mysticism does not consider what religion is embraced by the mysticist. This religious phenomenon is found not only in the three given religions, but also found in other religions. There must be interactions and conflicts. Since the essence of mysticism is the awareness of the existence of communication and direct dialog between human being and God, in the practice it emphasizes more on the ‘hakekat’ than ‘lahiriyah’. The idea of Wahdah al-Adyan, according to al-Hallaj, explains that religions taught by the prophets come and will be back to the one source. There are differences among religious teachings, but it is only on names and forms. It has the same goals, that is how to worship God.

There is an assumption from some scientists, both non-Muslim scientists and Muslim scientists, that the discourse of Islamic science is utopian and unclear. Some scientists even consider that Islamic science does not exist. However, for some activists of Islamic science, Islamic science discourse is a must. Islamic science is a necessity for Muslims today. They continue to strive to discuss Islamic science as an alternative to the fashion science crisis.
