Abstract

Abstract Education is one of the main factors that causes income inequality in society.This study aims to investigate the impact of education on income inequality in East Java. The testing method in this study uses a quantitative method by using annual time series data from the education index and Gini ratio in the districts/cities of East Java as the research sample. According to the results of the study, education has a significant correlation with income. A person with a high level of education is more likely to earn a high income. This is due to several factors, including: increased productivity, increased access to employment, and increased social mobility, as education can help someone improve their social status. Therefore, this study is expected to help the government improve access and quality of education in East Java, this is important to reduce income inequality. By understanding the relationship between education and income, the government can design more effective and sustainable policies for the economic development of East Java. Abstract

The development of agrotourism is believed to increase public awareness of the importance of preserving agricultural land resources. Furthermore, agrotourism development can also aid in preserving local cultural wisdom in the vicinity of the agrotourism area. Sawah Pematang Johar Agrotourism is one of the agrotourism sites developed by the community as a means to boost the village economy. However, over time, there has been a decline in tourist activities at the Pematang Johar Agrotourism site, requiring a strategy for sustainable development. This study is a descriptive literature review using data sources from various articles published in the last 10 years, obtained from reputable national and international journals, as well as secondary data from government websites. The content of this writing represents the author's thoughts on strategies to revive Sawah Desa Pematang Johar agrotourism as a backbone for the local economy. Data in this research is gathered from books, journal articles, and direct field observations, structured to provide solutions and strategies to reinvigorate Sawah Pematang Johar Agrotourism Post-Covid-19. It is hoped that this article will offer solutions to the decline in the local economy of Pematang Johar Village, Deli Serdang Regency, due to a decrease in tourists visiting the Pematang Johar Agrotourism site.

Abstract

The Indonesian Sharia Stock Index is used to assess the value of stocks in accordance with sharia law in Indonesia, covering all stocks traded on the IDX. This study aims to examine how the Indonesia Shariah Stock Index is affected by interest rates, exchange rates and Shariah-compliant Bank Indonesia Certificates between 2016 and 2021. Using up to 72 samples, quantitative techniques were applied to the population of all data from currency exchange rates, interest rates, SBIS and ISSI. The technique of multiple linear regression analysis is used to analyze the secondary data of this study. The conclusion of this research is that the ISSI is negatively affected by the exchange rate, the ISSI is not affected by interest rates, and SBIS has a negative influence on the ISSI. Simultaneously the three variables affect the ISSI and their interconnections create the environment in which companies and investors operate. Changes in these factors can create a domino effect that affects the overall health and performance of the Islamic stock market. Keywords: Exchange Rates, Interest Rates, SBIS, ISSI

Abstract

This research aims to delve deeper into the phenomenon of digital transformation in the context of online warmindo (traditional Indonesian hot noodle soup) buying and selling, exploring its impact on the modern economic structure, and highlighting the challenges and opportunities that arise with these changes. The research method employed adopts a qualitative descriptive approach where data is collected from interviews and a review of previous research literature. Data analysis will involve the processes of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions to identify patterns, trends, and implications arising from this research. The results of the research indicate that this phenomenon has a significant impact on the modern economic structure, particularly in the culinary sector. Digital transformation opens up new opportunities for warmindo business operators to enhance product visibility, reach a wider market share, and improve operational efficiency through the adoption of technology.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of internal control, internal audit, organizational commitment and integrity on fraud prevention at Hospital X in Sidoarjo. In this regard, to maximize rational, measurable and in-depth research results, this research uses quantitative methods. The data source in this research is a primary data source obtained from respondents from distributing questionnaires indirectly or utilizing existing communication media. Meanwhile, the sampling technique in the research used a probability sampling technique (single random sampling), namely a certain number of employees at Hospital X in Sidoarjo. Data obtained using a questionnaire processed using SPSS 23 for 43 employees of Hospital X Sidoarjo. So the results obtained are that internal audit has no significant effect on fraud prevention, internal control has a significant effect on fraud prevention, organizational commitment has a significant effect on fraud prevention, and Integrity has a significant effect on fraud prevention at Hospital X Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of inflation, trade, and investment on Indonesia's economic growth and purchasing power (1990-2022). Using panel data regression, we find: that inflation and exports have a positive impact on both GDP and purchasing power. Inflation boosts aggregate demand while exports increase income. Imports have a positive impact on purchasing power due to the increased availability of goods, but a negative on GDP due to potential trade imbalances. Domestic and foreign investment hurt both GDP and purchasing power. While investment boosts production, it can also intensify competition, leading to price reductions and dampened purchasing power. The findings of this study have implications for policymakers in Indonesia. Policymakers should focus on policies that can promote inflation, exports, and foreign direct investment. These policies can help to increase purchasing power and improve the standard of living of Indonesians

Abstract

Inflation is one of the effects of a prolonged economic crisis that can hit a country. Inflation is a process of rising prices of goods and services in a country that takes place continuously in a long or sustainable period of time. Inflation is caused by an imbalance between the availability of goods and money. This study aims to analyze the effect of interest rates, money supply, exchange rates, and government spending on inflation in Indonesia with a range of years 2017-2022 using 72 samples. In this study using quantitative research methods, and analyzed using multiple linear regression tests and classical assumption tests using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results showed that interest rates have a positive effect on inflation, money supply has a negative effect on inflation, exchange rates have no effect on inflation, and government spending has a positive effect on inflation. Simultaneously the four variables affect the inflation rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

The financial performance of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) for the period 2020-2022 needs to be evaluated to determine the effectiveness of management in managing the company's finances. The purpose of the study is to measure the financial performance of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) through financial statement analysis over the period 2020, 2021, and 2022. This study uses various types of financial ratios such as Liquidity, Solvency, and Profitability. The research method used is qualitative with a quantitative approach. The data used is sourced from the financial statements of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022, obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis results show that the company has good liquidity because current assets are higher than current liabilities. The solvency ratio level is quite healthy. Although the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) indicates high debt, the low Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) values show that most of the assets are still funded by equity. The company's profitability level is less healthy. Although the Gross Profit Margin (GPM) shows positive results and is higher than the industry average, other ratios such as Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) indicate that the company has significant room for improvement in operational efficiency, cost management, and optimization of asset and equity utilization. Abstract

This study tests and analyzes how implementation of green accounting and corporatesocial responsibility on firm value in manufacturing companies basic industrial andchemical sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The data camefrom the Indonesian Stock Exchange’s annual report which was published. Twelvemanufacturing companies in the basic industrial and chemical that were listed on theIndonesian Stock Exchange in 2020-2022 serve as the study’s sample. Data analysis wasdone using SPSS version 26. The implementation of green accounting and corporatesocial responsibility have a favorable and significant association, according to researchfindings. However the green accounting variable has a negative impact on firm valuewhereas the corporate social responsibility varaible has positive impact on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of convenience, interest rates and perceived risk on theinterest of the people in Menganti district to use the Paylater feature on the Shopee Application. The unit ofanalysis in this study is the people who live in the Menganti district who have used Shopee Paylater as many as83 people. Samples were taken using sampling quotas. the technique of determining samples from a populationthat have characteristics to the desired amount (quota). Researchers select samples based on certain criteria sothat researchers get the appropriate sample. Data analysis was performed using statistics using SPSS version26. Based on the results of data analysis using the t test, it is knows that interest rates partially have asignificant influence on interest in using Shopee Paylater. Meanwhile, convenience and perceived risk do notsignificantly influence in using Shopee Paylater. So for the company are advised to Pay attention to interestrates so that this feature remains popular with the publik
