Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation and disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) with the concept of Shariah Enterprise Theory in an effort to realize Good Corporate Governance (GCG). This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) as the object of research. The data collection method used is a document study, while the data source in this study comes from secondary data, obtained through the BMI anual report in 2012, especially the CSR and GCG BMI reports in 2012. The result of this study is that BMI has applied the concept of Shari'ah Enterprise Theory to its social activities with regard to vertical accountability and horizontal accountability (inderect stakeholders and nature) on its social responsibility report. As for horizontal accountability to derect stakeholders explained in the corporate governance report on human resources, but the application of horizontal accountability to nature is still very little. The application of sharia enterprise theory concept to the implementation and disclosure of BMI CSR has an impact on social activities carried out will be based on the law or Islamic shari'ah to get the pleasure of Allah and to create GCG on BMI. In addition, the concept of Shari'ah Enterprise Theory can also be used to understand GCG in shari'ah banking

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of consumer behavior to the decision to purchase Sunsilk shampoo products. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to S1 students of Prof. Dr. Moestopo University (Beragama) in 2012-2013. This study used the correlation method and the Likert Scale conducted on 40 respondents. The variables in this study are about consumer behavior towards consumer purchasing decisions of Sunslik shampoo products as many as 46 respondents, random sampling, where sampling is such that each unit of the population has the opportunity to be selected as a sample. Data collection techniques use field research, namely interviews and questionnaires. Data processing techniques were obtained from the results of the distribution of questionnaires measured using the Likert Scale and calculated with the SPSS 17.0 for Windows program. The contribution of consumer behavior to consumer purchasing decisions of Sunsilk shampoo products from the results of research and calculations conducted by the author can be proven using simple regression analysis calculations, correlation coefficients and determinations. So each increase and decrease in the relationship of consumer behavior is offset by the correlation coefficient obtained r is 0.955 less than 1 (one). This shows that there is a weak and positive contribution between consumer behavior and consumer purchasing decisions

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of the Work Environment and Work Motivation on the Performance of Nurses at Al-Fatah Hospital Ambon. The analytical tool used in this study was multiple linear regression. The population of 35 people or all nurses at Al-Fatah Hospital Ambon, which was sampled in this study was 35 nurses at Al-Fatah Hospital Ambon. The results showed that the independent variables Work Environment (X1) and Work Motivation (X2), have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, namely Nurse Performance (Y), this means that the work environment and work motivation that employees feel will have an impact on the performance of nurses at Al-Fatah Hospital Ambon. The dominant influence is the Work Environment variable

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of quick ratio and earnings per share on share prices in coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The analytical tool used in this study was multiple linear regression. The total population of 21 companies or all coal mining companies listed on the IDX, which is sampled in this study is as many as 6 stone mining companies listed on the IDX and companies have data to calculate Quick Ratio (QR) and Earning Per Share (EPS), as well as available annual financial report data published during the research period 2011-2016 in www.idx.co.id. The results showed that the independent variable Quick Ratio (X1) had a negative and significant influence on stock prices, while Earning Per Share (X2) had a positive but not significant influence on Coal Mining Companies listed on the IDX. The higher the Quick Ratio level indicates its short-term financial performance, the better because the company is considered capable of paying its obligations using cash, tradable securities, and receivables

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of Social Media Marketing during campaigns through Instagram on Yogurt X product purchase decisions. The study population was Instagram followers of Yogurt X. Large samples to be taken in this study can be determined through the slovin formula. Researchers used an error tolerance (e) of 10 percent and a population of 29,300 followers of Instagram Yogurt X. Based on the results of these calculations, it can be seen that the sample in this study amounted to 100 people. Sampling in this study was carried out by Nonprobability Sampling. The sampling technique in this study used incidental sampling. Incidental sampling is a sampling technique based on chance, i.e. anyone who incidentally meets the researcher can be used as a sample. The results of the Partial Test (Test t) show that Context (X1), Collaboration (X3) and, Connection (X4) have a significant effect on Yogurt X Purchasing Decisions, while Communication does not have a significant effect on Yogurt X Purchasing Decisions. The magnitude of the influence of Sub Variability (Context, Communication, Collaboration, Connection) on sequential Purchasing Decisions is Context 18.8 percent, Communication 2.94 percent, Collaboration 22.21 percent, Connection 17.47 percent. The results of the Simultaneous Test (Test F) show that Social Media Marketing Yogurt X through Instagram social media affects Purchase Decisions. The magnitude of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable was 61.4 percent, while the remaining 38.6 percent was influenced by other variables that were not studied

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value of sigma before improvement is carried out and find out the causes of defects in the production process, as well as produce proposals for improvement and quality control of products. The population in this study was Arsel furniture table products during April 2015 to March 2016 which amounted to 420 products. Sampling using purposive sampling techniques and with the considerations used, the number of samples used was 306 samples. The results of research using the Six Sigma method with the DMAIC concept as a product quality control tool in Arsel Mebel found defective products in the form of rupture during cutting, removal of laminate materials, size errors, and the process of drilling table legs. The results of the analysis showed that the defective product that was more dominant was broken at the time of cutting, which was 38 percent.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effect of Return on Assets (ROA) and Earnings Per Share (EPS) on stock prices. The analytical tool used in this study was multiple linear regression. The total population of 29 companies or all banking sector companies listed on the IDX in 2016, sampling techniques using the purposive sampling method, which was sampled in this study were as many as 12 banking companies. The results showed that the variable ROA (X1) had a significant effect on Stock Price, while EPS (X2) did not have a significant effect on Stock Price

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the application of business ethics based on Islamic law to the practice of buying and selling in traditional markets. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were traders who made buying and selling transactions in the traditional market of Hamlet Olas. The technique of determining the subject by purposive sampling is the determination of the subject using criteria for the type of goods sold. The results of research in the traditional market of Olas Hamlet obtained, the practice of buying and selling transactions was found by traders who prioritized profit even though the quality of the goods they sold was not appropriate. The practice of buying and selling transactions carried out by traders has not fully implemented ethical principles that are in accordance with Islamic business. In addition, it is the lack of friendliness of the merchants that makes buyers uncomfortable. When viewed from the five principles of Islamic business ethics, namely the principle of unity, the principle of balance and freedom have been well applied by traders. However, it can be seen from the principle of responsibility and the principle of righteousness, virtue and honesty have not been fully carried out by traders and are more concerned with profit alone

Abstract

Toll road users often complain about congestion problems that occur at entrance toll gates and exit toll gates due to the queue of toll road users in paying tickets using cash takes a long time, queues of congestion on toll roads cause losses for consumers in the form of wasted time, energy and vehicle fuel. This study aims to determine the results of the evaluation of the non-cash payment system policy at the North Sentul toll gate of Jagorawi Section. This research is a descriptive research using qualitative methods. The collection of 10 informants using Non Probabilita sampling techniques, the type is judgment sampling. Data were collected by triangulation techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in the study were North Sentul toll road users and North Sentul toll gate employees. Based on the results of research on the evaluation of cashless payment system policies at the North Sentul toll gate, it has not been able to overcome the existing problems. This cashless payment system policy is effective because it is considered safe, convenient and fast. However, on the other hand, this policy is said to be still ineffective because rider machines or payment machines often occur human errors while technicians to repair the machine are not standby

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the existence of influence, relationship, and behavior of foreign debt on economic growth. The Vector Error Correction Model method is used on time series data to answer this goal. The results showed that foreign debt had a significant negative influence on economic growth during the period. Similarly, inflation and exchange rates are chosen to have significant negative influences. Meanwhile, exports have a significant positive influence on growth. Savings and road length as infrastructure proxies also have a negative but not significant influence on economic growth. Meanwhile, there is a long-term relationship or cointegration between economic growth, external debt, savings ratio, export ratio, inflation, road length, and exchange rate. The external debt response to shocks to economic growth was negative. That is, an increase in economic growth will bring foreign debt to decrease. In the first year, the external debt response to the shock of an increase in GDP growth of 1 standard deviation was responded negatively at -23.63 and began to reach equilibrium in the 5th period. This negative influence shows that Indonesia's foreign debt has been a burden on economic growth
