Abstract

This research was conducted to know how Islamic Economic Law views Mangrewa Business Practices in Maliba Hamlet, Curio District, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi. The type of research conducted is field research with a qualitative model. The object of research is focused on the practice of Mangrewa business profit sharing in Maliba Hamlet, Curio District, Enrekang Regency. The nature of this research is descriptive, describing how the Mangrewa business practices are carried out by the local community and then associated with Islamic Economic Law which refers to the Qur'an and Hadith. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is Qualitative Descriptive Analysis. The results showed that the Mangrewa business practice uses the principle of profit sharing with the use of the Mudharabah Mutlaqah contract where the owner of the capital gives livestock to the manager to be cared for without any specified time limit and the distribution of profits is carried out after the livestock produces children. Regarding using livestock as business capital, it is considered valid according to Islamic Economic Law because the form and amount are clear and can be delivered when Ijab Qabul. Then in terms of profit sharing, it is also permissible because it is by the principles of Islamic Economic Law in which the profit is divided equally without any party being disadvantaged, and there is an element of mutual consent from both parties.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the factors driving the public interest in using Quick Response Code (QRIS) as a means to donate Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) to the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) in Cirebon Regency. The research method employed was qualitative. Data collection involved administering questionnaires to 126 respondents, conducting direct interviews with 8 community members, and interviewing an expert in zakat and waqf management. The findings of the study highlight several key factors influencing public interest in donating ZIS via QRIS, including the level of trust in Baznas and the QRIS system, the proximity of QRIS donation locations facilitating access, the convenience and ease of use of QRIS, civil servant status, and well-organized ZIS donation programs. The implications of these findings indicate the necessity for Baznas in Cirebon Regency to enhance public trust in the institution and the QRIS payment system, expand the network of QRIS donation locations in easily accessible areas, ensure comfortable and user-friendly QRIS usage, involve civil servants in promoting and implementing ZIS donation programs via QRIS, and organize ZIS donation programs in a planned and structured manner. By taking these steps, it is hoped that public interest in using QRIS to donate ZIS to Baznas in Cirebon Regency will significantly increase, ultimately supporting the institution's revenue growth and poverty alleviation efforts in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the standard of sharia stock screening process and its impact on economic stability in the context of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), reviewed from the perspective of Maqāṣid Asy-Syarīah. Sharia stock screening is the process of evaluating a company's shares to ensure compliance with sharia principles, which include financial, ethical, and operational aspects. In the context of the AEC, this standard plays an important role in maintaining economic stability, by ensuring that investments made are in accordance with Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative analysis method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The data used were obtained from secondary sources such as journals, books, and official reports. The results of the study indicate that strict sharia stock screening standards contribute to economic stability, by encouraging ethical and responsible investment. In addition, the implementation of this standard in the context of the AEC is also in line with the objectives of Maqāṣid Asy-Syarīah, especially in protecting the interests of the people, maintaining justice, and promoting shared prosperity. Therefore, this study suggests strengthening and harmonizing sharia stock screening standards at the ASEAN level to support broader economic stability and prosperity.

Abstract

Departing from the current social/friendship trend, where psychologically there is a fear of being left behind by other friends who are hype or better known as the term FOMO for long-term investment decisions. Which may not be from the desire and mature consideration of a mature person. Likewise, a person's income can be one of the interests of investing by setting aside between 5-15% in any form according to their basic income.  It becomes interesting when discussed in fiqh. This paper describes the influence of income and social/friendship trends in investing in the study of fiqh muamalah. Using a mixed approach where primary data is analyzed quantitatively obtained from the population of Cirebon Regency, using a survey in the last 1 month. And secondary data was obtained from journal articles related to the material from the internet. Then the results were analyzed descriptively and concluded. It was found that income affects individual interest in investing in the capital market, in other ways the sphere of association / friendship is not very influential on the decision to invest in the capital market (H0 accepted). Whereas fiqh studies guide young investors to invest. The implication of this finding is for stakeholders to increase the contribution of the younger generation to invest through the capital market, not because of FOMO, but based on the consideration of financial data and facts.

Abstract

The discourse on Sharia economics begins with the concept of business economics that does not rely on usury practices. To achieve the ideal goal of Sharia economics, various supporting tools are needed, such as information systems, measuring tools, and accountability tools. One of these tools is Sharia accounting, based on the Quran and Hadith. However, many Sharia accounting practices have not fully implemented this foundation, causing Islamic accounting to lose its purity due to using more conventional accounting theories. This research aims to reconstruct the normative and historical foundations of Sharia accounting so that Islamic accounting can return to the guidelines of the Quran and Hadith. The methodology used in this research is a literature study or library research, one of the qualitative research methods. The data and materials used in this research come from various journals, books, and scriptures. The research results show that Islamic or Sharia accounting has been normatively ordered in the Quran. Accountability, justice, and truth must be followed in financial transactions and in preparing accounting reports. Historically, the Islamic accounting system was first applied in the time of the Prophet, with the obligation to record non-cash transactions to ensure that Muslims pay attention to recording their transactions. Sharia accounting continues to develop until the modern era.

This research uses a qualitative approach by analysing literature related to Sharia economic principles and Islamic labour law. Data was also collected through interviews with workers, entrepreneurs and legal experts to understand wage implementation in the port context. The results of the analysis show that the wage system at Panjang Port does not fully comply with Sharia economic principles. Although there are efforts to ensure fairness and worker welfare, there is still a need to increase transparency, worker participation in wage setting, and protection of worker rights in accordance with Islamic teachings. In conclusion, reform is needed in the wage system to ensure compliance with sharia economic principles and the welfare of the people.
