High traffic densitiy becomes one of a big problem of transportation in many big developing cities in Indonesia. The growth number of vehicles relatively much higher if compared to the growth of road infrastructure. Banda Aceh as a central city of Aceh Province are also facing moreless the same transportation problem,where traffic becomes very usual especially in peak hour in the morning when many people start their activity. It also happened in the afternoon when most of Banda Aceh people especially the one who work as a government servant going back from work. This research is trying to analyze one of the case of daily going to work travel route of Unsyiah administration staf. The result is very important to analyze the best departure time for the staff to minimize travel time. This research have developed a simulation model using an IT technology based on vehicle traffic mobility model. The simulation offered the fastest travel time solution with the best departure time to arrive at the destination by avoiding morning peak time traffic.

Kualitas kakao salah satunya ditentukan oleh kadar air dalam biji kakao. Kadar air dalam biji kakao untuk mempertimbangkan harga jual dari biji kakao. Hal ini dilakukan pada saat proses jual beli biji kakao. Cara mengukur kadar air dalam biji kakao ada beberapa macam yaitu dengan menimbang berat biji kakao lalu dibandingkan dengan jumlahnya, pengeringan semua air pada biji kakao dengan proses oven, dan lain sebagainya. Pada penelitian ini akan dibuat alat ukur kadar air dalam biji kakao dengan metode penusukan wadah atau karung yang berisi biji kakao dengan garpu untuk mengukur resistansinya. Garpu merupakan sensor resistif yang nilainya berubah bergantung dari kadar air biji kakao. Dengan rangkaian inverting amplifier perubahan resistans diubah menjadi tegangan.Tegangan output inverting amplifier dibaca oleh ADC mikrokontroler Atmega-8, yang kemudian diolah dan ditampilkan pada LCD. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan alat ukur yang dibuat mampu mengukur besar kadar air yang terkandung dalam biji kakao pada range pengukuran kadar air dari 2% hingga 20% dengan prosentase kesalahan 0,05%.

Shrimp cultivation is strongly influenced by pond water quality conditions. Farmers must know the appropriate action in regulating water quality that is suitable for shrimp survival. The state of water quality can be understood by measuring pond parameters using various sensors. Installing sensors equipped with artificial intelligence modules to inform water quality conditions is the right action. However, the sensor cannot be separated from errors, so it results in not being able to get data or missing data. In this case, the approach of 5 parameters of pond water quality from 13 available parameters is carried out. This paper proposes a technique to obtain lost data caused by sensor error and looks for the best model. A simple approach can be taken, such as the Handling Missing Value (HMV), which is commonly used, namely the mean, with the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) classifier optimized using a grid search. However, the accuracy of this technique is still low, reaching 0.739 at 20-fold cross-validation. Calculations were carried out with other methods to further improve the prediction accuracy. It was found that Linear Regression (LR) can increase accuracy up to 0.757, which outperforms different approaches such as the statistical approach to mean 0.739, mode 0.716, median 0.734, and regression approach KNN 0.742, Lasso 0.751, Passive Aggressive Regressor (PAR) 0.737, Support Vector Regression (SVR) 0.739, Kernel Ridge (KR) 0.731, and Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) 0.734.

Rear-end collisions are the most common type of traffc accident. On the highway, a real-end collision may involve more than two vehicles and cause a pile-up or chain-reaction crash. Referring to data released by the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), rear-end collisions which occurred throughout 2010 constituted as much as 43.65% of all collisions. In most cases, these rear-end collisions are caused by inattentive drivers, adverse road conditions and poor following distance. The Rear-end Collision Avoidance System (RCAS) is a device to help drivers to avoid rear-end collisions. The RCAS is a subsystem of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADASs) and became an important part of the driverless car. This paper discusses a hardware simulation of a RCAS based on fuzzy logic using a remote control car. The Mamdani method was used as a fuzzy inference system and realized by using the Arduiono Uno microcontroller system. Simulation results showed that the fuzzy logic algorithm of RCAS can work as designed.

An accurate mapping of ocean seabed is needed to answer the challenges faced by the marine scientist today. Sub-bottom profiler present as one of the acoustics system which used to describe the sediment layer profile of the ocean bottom, as well as the thickness of the layer and the stratigraphy. The purpose of this research is to describe the 2D profile and to determine the value of the reflection coefficient of the sediment layers in Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi. The reflection coefficient is necessary to be analyzed related to the seabed sediment grain size and type. The data acquisition carried out using Syqwest Stratabox sub-bottom profiler with the frequency of 10 kHz. FFT signal processing and bandpass filter are applied to relieve noise from main signals as well as to get better results. The results of data processing show that seafloor sediments have a value of the surface reflection coefficients which ranged between 0.1168 until 0.7938 with type iron smooth sand.

This article discusses a procedure for finding the best multi stops route for sightseeing tour through a road network. The procedure involves building a database containing nodes and road network in PostgreSQL, calculating the shortest distance between a pair of nodes using pgDijkstra module, and solving the tour problem using a function written in PL/pgSQL. The function was developed based on the Nearest Insertion Algorithm for solving the Travelling Salesman Problem. The algorithm inserts a sightseeing attraction (node) at the best position in the existing route, which is between a pair of nodes that yields the minimum difference between the total tour time before and after the new node was inserted. The test result shows that the function can solve the problem within acceptable runtime for web application for total destination nodes of 22. It is concluded that the whole procedure was suitable for developing Web GIS application that solve the sightseeing tour planning problem.

Aceh merupakan salah satu wilayah di Indonesia yang rawan terhadap bencana alam seperti gempa bumi, tanah longsor, letusan gunung api, kemarau, abrasi, tsunami, banjir dan lain-lain. Salah satu faktor pengurangan risiko bencana (PRB) adalah tersedianya informasi yang dapat diakses oleh publik. Sehingga aplikasi web sistem informasi geografis untuk multi risiko bencana sangat penting di Aceh. Aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiap-siagaan dari pengambil keputusan dan masyarakat dalam upaya PRB. Aplikasi ini dibangun dan dirancang berdasarkan arsitektur client-server dengan menggunakan software open source sebagai penyedia data geospatial yang dapat diakses melalui web berbasis sistem informasi geografis (SIG). Adapun hasil aplikasinya adalah visualisasi peta-peta multi risiko bencana alam Aceh yang dapat memberikan informasi daerah rawan bencana kepihak terkait dengan cepat, tepat dan akurat secara online melalui internet.

Patients with physical disabilities, such as losing a leg or experiencing paralysis, will have difficulty moving from one place to another. As a result, they need someone or a device that can help them to move. One that is often used by patients is a wheelchair. This study proposes an electric wheelchair navigation system that can be controlled by voice commands using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method. CNN is used as the main method for identifying commands embedded on the Raspberry Pi microcontroller. The recorded voice data is then converted to spectrogram images before being fed to CNN. This method is proven to be better in voice command recognition with an accuracy of above 90%. There are five different voice commands: forward, backward, left, right, and stop. Preliminary experimental results indicate that the electric wheelchair is able to move according to the commands given.

A Bluetooth was developed as a means for short-range communications. However, the limited range of Bluetooth devices that tend to be narrowly led to the use of Bluetooth is less developed. Whereas, with its properties, sharing of data should be done easily and cheaply. This research has designed a transceiver antenna for Bluetooth communications that works at a frequency 2.4 GHz ISM-band. The antenna is designed in the form of a microstrip antenna with Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR) methods to reduce the dimensions of the antenna. The result of this research is a form of a transceiver antenna that works at a frequency of 2.398 GHz to 2.47 GHz with -30.815 dB return loss and VSWR worth 1,074. The resulting radiation pattern is a directional pattern with a gain of 11.84 dB. Implementation of the CSRR method can reduce antenna dimension by 53.47 %.

Harmonics are known as one of the causes of decline in the quality of the electrical power system, which can cause a negative impact on electronic equipment. Harmonics reduction that has been achieved with the passive filters is not quite satisfactory, thus development of active filters is required. This research proposes the use of parallel active filter design using a three-level inverter with the scheme of Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) that is used to reduce harmonics. The use of three stages Multilevel Inverter (MLI) on parallel active filter has several advantages that are lowering harmonic distortion and reducing stress switching. From the simulation results, it was obtained that three parallel active filters were capable of reducing the level of harmonic currents and voltages at the source; THDi before installation of the filter was equal to 26,16% and can be lowered to 2,42%. While THDv was reduced from 0,45% to 0,17%. Fifth-order harmonics is the most disturbing harmonic component, in which the value of IHDi beforeinstalling the filter is equal to 21,44% and reduce to 1,2% after the installation of the active filter.
