Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, motivasi, dan disiplin terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Kajian ini merangkum temuan dari berbagai jurnal nasional terindeks yang membahas hubungan antara variabel-variabel tersebut dengan kinerja karyawan di berbagai sektor industri, mulai dari pemerintahan, perbankan, hingga perusahaan swasta. Berdasarkan hasil analisis 15 jurnal, ditemukan bahwa lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, tingkat motivasi yang tinggi, serta disiplin kerja yang konsisten memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Beberapa studi juga menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, dan beban kerja turut menjadi variabel penting yang mendukung pencapaian kinerja optimal. Hasil kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif, meningkatkan motivasi, serta menegakkan disiplin kerja sebagai strategi dalam meningkatkan kinerja individu dan organisasi secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This research is a mapping of various scientific articles that discuss the influence of variables that affect employee performance in the context of human resource management (HRM). The analysis was conducted on 14 journals that have various index classifications, such as Sinta 4, Sinta 5, and Scopus Q1. The results of the mapping show that organizational culture is the most dominant variable and consistently affects employee performance both directly and indirectly through mediating variables such as job attachment, organizational commitment, and compensation. However, there are findings that show that the effect is not always significant or depends on the internal and external conditions of the organization. Some studies suggest that future research should include more variables and use more diverse approaches, including qualitative approaches to capture the dynamics of work behavior in more depth. Thus, this document makes a significant contribution in mapping the direction of HRM research in Indonesia, especially in the context of the influence of internal organizational variables on employee performance. This mapping can be used as an initial reference for the development of further research and evidence-based policy making in the field of human resource management. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan pemetaan terhadap berbagai artikel ilmiah yang membahas pengaruh variable yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan dalam konteks manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM). Analisis dilakukan terhadap 14 jurnal yang memiliki klasifikasi indeks beragam, seperti Sinta 4, Sinta 5, dan Scopus Q1. Hasil dari pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi merupakan variabel yang paling dominan dan konsisten berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui variabel mediasi seperti keterikatan kerja, komitmen organisasi, dan kompensasi. Namun demikian, terdapat temuan yang menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh tersebut tidak selalu signifikan atau tergantung pada kondisi internal dan eksternal organisasi. Beberapa studi menyarankan agar penelitian di masa depan mencakup lebih banyak variabel dan menggunakan pendekatan yang lebih beragam, termasuk pendekatan kualitatif untuk menangkap dinamika perilaku kerja secara lebih mendalam. Dengan demikian, dokumen ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memetakan arah penelitian MSDM di Indonesia khususnya dalam konteks pengaruh variabel internal organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pemetaan ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi awal untuk pengembangan penelitian lanjutan maupun pengambilan kebijakan berbasis bukti di bidang manajemen sumber daya manusia. Abstract

The TIKIM Division has the main task in immigration, namely managing the immigration information system, developing websites and applications, ensuring data security and collecting all immigration document files in the form of archives. Management of immigration archive documents requires good immigration employee performance to ensure that the sorting of immigration documents can be stored neatly and can be searched quickly when needed. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through several techniques, namely in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The passport mutation process goes through several stages starting from the process of submitting the passport from the relevant foreigner to the immigration office which will then be processed by TIKIM employees which still involve the relevant foreigner and the Indonesian citizen who is the sponsor. This passport mutation process also requires the sponsor from the foreigner to have a sponsor account on the Indonesian Immigration e-Visa website which indirectly requires the participation of the Intaltuskim division in the process of creating the sponsor account. The sponsor account will be used for a continuous period of time including in the process of changing data in the passport mutation. The mutation process takes around 4-5 working days depending on the passport of the foreigner's country of origin. Based on the discussion above, it can be concluded that the performance of employees in the passport mutation archive management process at the Class I TPI Denpasar Immigration Office starting from the passport submission stage to the archiving of passport mutation files can be said to be very good, as evidenced by the effective passport mutation flow. Abstrak: Divisi TIKIM memiliki tugas utama dalam keimigrasian yaitu mengelola sistem informasi keimigrasian, mengembangkan website dan aplikasi, memastikan keamanan data dan mengumpulkan semua berkas dokumen keimigrasian dalam bentuk arsip. Pengelolaan dokumen arsip keimigrasian memerlukan kinerja pegawai imigrasi yang baik untuk memastikan pemilahan dokumen keimigrasian dapat tersimpan dengan rapi dan dapat dicari dengan cepat ketika akan diperlukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui beberapa teknik, yaitu wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Proses mutasi paspor melalui beberapa tahapan dimulai dari proses penyererahan paspor dari WNA bersangkutan kepada pihak kantor imigrasi yang kemudian akan diproses oleh pegawai TIKIM yang dimana tetap melibatkan pihak WNA yang bersangkutan dan Pihak WNI yang merupakan pihak sponsornya. Proses mutasi akun paspor ini juga mengharuskan pihak sponsor dari pihak WNA untuk memiliki sponsor yang ada pada website e-Visa Imigrasi Indonesia yang secara tidak langsung memerlukan partisipasi dari divisi Intaltuskim dalam proses pembuatan akun sponsor tersebut. Akun sponsor tersebut akan digunakan dalam jangka waktu yang berkelanjutan termasuk dalam proses pergantian data dalam mutasi paspor. Proses mutasi memerlukan waktu sekitar 4-5 hari kerja tergantung dari paspor negara asal WNA. Berdasarkan Pembahasan diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja pegawai dalam proses manajemen arsip mutasi paspor di Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I TPI Denpasar dimulai dari tahap penyerahan paspor hingga pengarsipan berkas mutasi paspor dapat dikatakan sudah sangat baik, terbukti dari alur mutasi paspor yang efektif. Abstract

This study aims to examine the differences in political-economic strategies between Park Chung Hee in South Korea and Soeharto in Indonesia, with a particular focus on how authoritarian leadership and discriminatory economic policies influenced the direction and outcomes of national development. It explores how Park’s approach, centered on economic discrimination, meritocratic industrial policies, and corporate-led growth fundamentally differed from Soeharto’s strategy, which relied heavily on political patronage and the politicization of economic policy. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach using library research methods, by reviewing relevant academic journals and scholarly publications. The analysis is conducted by interpreting key themes in each leader’s development policies, particularly concerning the role of the state in creating economic incentives and shaping institutional structures that either promoted or hindered economic growth. Economic development remains one of the most critical challenges in postcolonial developing countries. This study compares two authoritarian regimes Park Chung Hee’s South Korea and Soeharto’s Indonesia. Both of which adopted state-led development models in the postcolonial era. Although both leaders shared similar institutional frameworks, military backgrounds, and centralized governance, their economic outcomes diverged significantly. Park’s leadership exemplified the “economization of politics,” where state power was used to enforce meritocracy, promote industrial performance, and discipline markets. South Korea achieved robust export-led industrialization and institutionalized economic meritocracy through support for chaebols and long-term planning. In contrast, Soeharto’s regime reflected “economic politicization,” wherein state resources were distributed based on political loyalty rather than performance. This led to structural fragility, inequality, and eventual collapse during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on literature review, the study finds that authoritarian development success depends less on the degree of state control and more on the quality of governance, institutional discipline, and commitment to performance-based policies.

Abstract

This study employs a bibliometric approach to analyze the evolution of literature on artificial intelligence (AI) and work transformation, aiming to map the knowledge structure and research trends in this field. While existing studies have predominantly focused on the technical dimensions of AI, significant gaps remain regarding social perspectives, particularly in developing country contexts. Our analysis addresses this limitation by systematically examining 718 Scopus-indexed documents (2014-2024) using VOSviewer for network visualization through bibliographic coupling and co-citation analysis. The results reveal a marked increase in publications post-2018, driven by technological advancements and sociological debates on automation. Co-citation analysis identifies six thematic clusters, including AI's labor impact, ethical considerations, and human-AI collaboration, while bibliographic coupling highlights sector-specific applications in healthcare and manufacturing, alongside persistent challenges such as skill gaps. Notably, the findings underscore the Western-centric nature of current discourse, calling for more inclusive research in Global South contexts. The study contributes to policy discussions by emphasizing the need for adaptive regulatory frameworks, reskilling initiatives, and micro-credential-based education systems. Although limited to Scopus-indexed literature, this research provides valuable insights for shaping future academic inquiry and evidence-based policymaking in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

Urban inequality remains a pressing challenge in the 21st century, exacerbated by smart city technologies and neoliberal governance, which often deepen socio-spatial disparities despite their promises of efficiency and sustainability. While qualitative critiques of smart cities exist, few studies employ bibliometric methods to systematically analyze the intellectual structure of urban inequality research, particularly across geographical and institutional contexts. This study addresses this gap by mapping the evolution of critical urban sociology’s engagement with smart city inequality from 2014–2024, using bibliometric analysis of 460 key publications from Scopus and VOSviewer to identify dominant themes, gaps, and emerging debates through bibliographic coupling, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence analyses. The findings reveal five major clusters, including data-driven governance, digital exclusion, and neoliberal urbanism, with seminal works by Sassen (2014) and Kitchin (2016) dominating the discourse, while also highlighting gaps such as limited Global South perspectives and feminist/postcolonial critiques. Temporal shifts show a growing focus on algorithmic bias and data justice, underscoring the need for inclusive, participatory smart city frameworks. The study concludes by advocating for equitable governance models, democratized technology access, and interdisciplinary approaches to mitigate urban inequality, offering a foundation for future research and policy interventions.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has accelerated the adoption of e-payments as a non-cash transaction method and influenced increasingly consumptive lifestyles among university students. E-payment refers to electronic payment systems such as debit cards and e-money, while lifestyle reflects consumption patterns shaped by trends, personal preferences, and social environment. This study aims to examine the influence of e-payment usage and lifestyle on students' non-cash consumption expenditures. Control variables analyzed include shopping frequency, personal income, allowance, gender, and residential area. The study involved 292 active students from the Development Economics Program at Udayana University, selected using a proportionate stratified random sampling method. A quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis was employed. The results indicate that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on non-cash consumption. Partially, e-payment, lifestyle, shopping frequency, personal income, allowance, and gender significantly influence consumption expenditure, while residential area does not. Heteroskedasticity was detected in the model, prompting the use of robust standard error in the t-test to ensure more reliable and accurate estimates. Abstrak Pemanfaatan teknologi digital telah mendorong penggunaan e-payment sebagai alternatif pembayaran non-tunai serta memengaruhi gaya hidup konsumtif di kalangan mahasiswa. E-payment merujuk pada sistem pembayaran elektronik seperti kartu debit dan uang elektronik, sedangkan gaya hidup mencerminkan pola konsumsi individu yang terbentuk oleh tren, preferensi pribadi, dan lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh e-payment dan gaya hidup terhadap pengeluaran konsumsi non-tunai mahasiswa. Selain itu, turut dianalisis variabel kontrol yang meliputi frekuensi belanja, pendapatan sendiri, uang saku, jenis kelamin, dan wilayah tempat tinggal. Penelitian dilakukan pada 292 mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Ekonomi Pembangunan Universitas Udayana yang dipilih melalui teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan metode regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan seluruh variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengeluaran konsumsi non-tunai. Secara parsial, variabel e-payment, gaya hidup, frekuensi belanja, pendapatan sendiri, uang saku, dan jenis kelamin terbukti berpengaruh signifikan, sedangkan wilayah tempat tinggal tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Ditemukan gejala heteroskedastisitas dalam model, sehingga pengujian uji t dilakukan dengan pendekatan robust standard error untuk menghasilkan estimasi yang lebih akurat. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of working capital, working hours, and technology on the income of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector in Denpasar City. MSMEs are a strategic sector in regional economic development, especially in Bali, which is known as a tourism center. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational approach, involving 99 respondents from culinary MSMEs selected through accidental proportional sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that, simultaneously, working capital, working hours, and technology significantly influence the income of MSMEs. Partially, working capital and working hours have a positive and significant influence, while technology also shows a positive influence but with lower significance. These findings emphasize the importance of capital support, optimal work time management, and the use of digital technology such as QRIS in improving the performance and income of culinary SMEs. This study provides practical implications for SME operators and local governments in designing digital-based and inclusive economic empowerment strategies. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh modal usaha, jam kerja, dan teknologi terhadap pendapatan pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) bidang kuliner di Kota Denpasar. UMKM merupakan sektor strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi daerah, khususnya di Bali yang dikenal sebagai pusat pariwisata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional, melibatkan 99 responden pelaku UMKM kuliner yang dipilih melalui teknik accidental proportional sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, modal usaha, jam kerja, dan teknologi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan UMKM. Secara parsial, modal usaha dan jam kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan teknologi juga menunjukkan pengaruh positif namun dengan signifikansi yang lebih rendah. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan modal, pengelolaan waktu kerja yang optimal, serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital seperti QRIS dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan pendapatan UMKM kuliner. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pelaku UMKM dan pemerintah daerah dalam merancang strategi pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis digital dan inklusif. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the income of female traders in the Sanglah Traditional Market, Denpasar City. The independent variables include number of family dependents, distance from home to the market, working hours, and the presence of modern markets. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 93 respondents using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that simultaneously all independent variables significantly affect female traders' income. Partially, the number of family dependents and working hours have a positive and significant effect on income, while distance and the presence of modern markets have a negative and significant effect. The most dominant factor influencing income is working hours. This study provides implications for the government and market managers to pay more attention to the challenges faced by female traders, especially in competing with modern markets and managing productive working hours.

Abstract

The culinary sector in Denpasar City shows rapid development along with increasing public consumption and modern lifestyle trends, one of which is marked by the proliferation of coffee shop. The significant growth in the number of coffee shop in Denpasar City has triggered increasingly fierce competition among business actors in obtaining income. This study aims to determine the effect of capital, labor, length of business, and the use of information technology on the income of coffee shop MSMEs in Denpasar City. This research method uses a quantitative method with a population of 176 coffee shop MSMEs in Denpasar City with a sample of 64 business units. The method for determining the research sample was determined proportionally through proportionate stratified random sampling technique and respondents were collected using purposive sampling method in four sub-districts in Denpasar City. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that capital, labor, length of business, and information technology have a simultaneous and significant effect on the income of coffee shop MSMEs in Denpasar City. In addition, capital, labor, length of business, and information technology partially have a positive effect on the income of coffee shop MSMEs in Denpasar City. The implication of this research is that increasing capital, number of workers, business experience and utilization of information technology can increase the income obtained by coffee shop MSMEs in Denpasar City.
