Abstract

The aim of this research is to enhance the assertiveness of grade 8 students of SMP YPS Singkole (YPS Singkole Junior High School) through applying a group counselling service and assertive technique exercise. The research which is run two cycles also uses quantitative research as a method which designed in guidance action research. The subjects of the research are the students with low assertiveness level. In collecting data, the writer uses questionnaire, observation, and interview. The data is then analyzed through an evaluation questionnaire to see the success of the research or the percentage of the reinforcement should have been given to the subjects. The result shows that the assertive technique exercise applied in both cycles has improved the subjects’ assertiveness level, from low to medium and high.

Abstract

This experimental research was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Gowa with the research subjects being students of class XI MIPA 5 with a total of 10 people. The problem in this study is that students in class XI MIPA 5 experience low learning independence. The approach in this study is quantitative with experimental research methods. Collecting data using interviews, direct observation and questionnaire instruments. Data analysis used quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) students' learning independence after being given treatment in the form of self-regulation exercises increases. (2) The application of the self-regulation technique has a positive effect on increasing student learning independence at SMA Negeri 9 Gowa. The approach in this research is quantitative research with the type of research is Pre-Experimental Designs. The results of the validation test were then tested on students with the test results showing students were able to take part in a series of Self Regulation Technique activities in order to increase learning independence. Thus the results of this study (1) students' learning independence before being given self-regulation techniques were in the low and medium categories. (2) students' learning independence after being given treatment in the form of self-regulation exercises increased. (3) The application of the self-regulation technique has a positive effect on increasing student learning independence at SMA Negeri 9 Gowa.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the use of assertive techniques in increasing students' assertiveness through group counseling services, group counseling services include four stages, namely the Formation Stage, Transition Stage, Core Stage and Termination. This technique helps students pass through three main stages, namely the pre-counseling stage, counseling and post-counseling. The results of the research from assertive techniques are very effective. The results of this study indicate that the factual condition of students' assertiveness after participating in the Assertive Training process has experienced a significant increase, which is indicated by students being able to respect the rights of themselves and others, dare to express opinions in advance. In general, at the time of learning and in association, honest with oneself and others, able to determine attitudes by paying attention to the surrounding situation and conditions.

Abstract

The group’s counselling activities aim to address the behavior habits of aggressive students in SMPN 2 Pa’jukukang. The counsel comes from the initial assessment of student violation records and the results of interviews. Of the assessment results, seven counselors performed aggressive behavior. In group counselling activities carried out using the reality counseling approach using the WDEP procedure with the Paradoxical Prescription technique. The activity is carried out in 3 cycles with the acquisition of assessment results from the counsel on each cycle. On the 1st cycle, the average lift score was 23.14 points in the Good category. On the 2nd cycle, the average lift earned 24.28 points in the Good category. In the third cycle, the average lift score was 29.57 points in the Good category. From the results of these activities, it can be concluded that group counseling services implemented using a reality counselling approach can overcome the aggressive behavior habits of students.

Abstract

This article is based on the author's observations and experiences, that in SMA Negeri 8 Luwu Timur there are still many students who skip school. The author's goal is to find out how to apply group counseling to overcome student truancy behavior in SMA Negeri 8 Luwu Timur. The conclusion of this research is that there are many students who like to skip school because of lack of motivation to learn, do not like certain subjects and lack of awareness of the importance of education. The author's efforts in overcoming the truancy behavior of Class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Luwu Timur are: conducting group counseling using token economy techniques, namely the token economy is a behavior modification designed to increase unwanted behavior by using tokens (signs). . Individuals receive tokens immediately after displaying the desired behavior. The tokens are collected and can be exchanged for an object or full honor. In order to review the changes that exist in students, then (1) BK teachers are more involved in establishing communication between students; (2) BK teachers collaborate with related parties such as homeroom teachers and subject teachers.

Abstract

Setiap orang memiliki perkembangan yang berbeda-beda. Ada yang mengalami keterlambatan dalam perkembangannya. Salah satu dampak yang ditimbulkan dari hal ini adalah adanya anak slow learner. Untuk menangani hal ini maka perlu adanya program inklusif melalui pendekatan konseling singkat berfocus solusi . Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan program inklusif siswa slow leaner dengan pedekatan pengaruh pendekatan konseling singkat berfokus solusi di SMA Islam Athirah Bone. (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan konseling singkat berfokus solusi terhadap hasil belajar siswa  kelas X (slow learner) di SMA Islam Atirah Bone. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi ekperiment  dengan pretest-posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswi kelas X (slow learner)dan  sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusif berjumlah 10 0rang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dengan mengoptimalkan program inklusif melalui pendekatan pendekatan konseling berfocus solusi  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of reality approach group counseling to improve students' resilience attitudes of Al Amal Islamic Junior High School Surabaya. This research uses quantitative research. This type of research uses the Pre-Experiment One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. The population in this study were the 8th grade students of Islamic Junior High School Al Amal Surabaya, totaling 53 students, from that population the research sample was taken 5 students using purposive sampling. The instrument in this study used two instruments, namely the data collection instrument consisting of a questionnaire and self-reflection journal, and a treatment material instrument developed specifically by the researcher. Data analysis in this study using Paired Sample t-Test, is a type of statistical test that aims to compare the mean of two paired groups. The results of this study indicate that the significance level of the t-test results is 0.067, so it can be concluded that the reality approach group counseling is not significant in increasing the resilience attitude of students of Al Amal Islamic Junior High School

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Cognitive Restructuring Techniques in reducing learning anxiety through group counseling services. This research approach is qualitative. This type of research uses Guidance and Counseling Action Research. The group counseling service carried out includes four stages, namely the initial, transition, core and termination stages and for the Cognitive Restructuring Technique it has 6 stages which generally help students replace negative thoughts that make anxious thoughts more positive. The object of this research is 8 students of 8th grade who experience learning anxiety. The results showed that the application of Cognitive Restructuring techniques can reduce learning anxiety which is indicated by changes in student behavior and being able to think of more realistic, rational and positive statements when faced with learning conditions or situations.
