Abstract

The group’s counselling activities aim to address the behavior habits of aggressive students in SMPN 2 Pa’jukukang. The counsel comes from the initial assessment of student violation records and the results of interviews. Of the assessment results, seven counselors performed aggressive behavior. In group counselling activities carried out using the reality counseling approach using the WDEP procedure with the Paradoxical Prescription technique. The activity is carried out in 3 cycles with the acquisition of assessment results from the counsel on each cycle. On the 1st cycle, the average lift score was 23.14 points in the Good category. On the 2nd cycle, the average lift earned 24.28 points in the Good category. In the third cycle, the average lift score was 29.57 points in the Good category. From the results of these activities, it can be concluded that group counseling services implemented using a reality counselling approach can overcome the aggressive behavior habits of students.

Abstract

This research discusses Academic Stress during the Covid-19 pandemic while studying from home experienced by a student at SMP Negeri 4 Palopo. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of case study research.  Data analysis used descriptive analysis with triangulation technique. The results obtained are: (1) The description of the stress felt during learning from home includes anxiety, boredom, sadness, feeling neglected, irritable, dizzy, not feeling satisfied to lazy learning behavior during the pandemic. (2) Factors that influence academic stress while studying from home are external and internal factors, pessimism in learning, not recognizing their potential, not yet adapting, and being responsible for learning. (3) Providing short counseling focused on solutions that can make students feel optimistic in learning, recognize potential, goals, and the right way to manage time with a schedule made by themselves in order to deal with academic stress problem in a student at SMP Negeri 4 Palopo.

Abstract

Counseling techniques in the individual counseling approach are widely used to help overcome student problems. This study aims to describe the use of reframing techniques in individual counseling approaches to students at Sang Timur Catholic Junior High School Jakarta who have difficulty controlling angry emotions. The difficulties in overcoming angry emotions were revealed in the student needs questionnaire (AKPD) where almost 65.4% felt they had difficulty controlling their emotions. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative type in PPL (Field Learning Practice) activities. The results of this study indicate that fro, three cycles of individual counseling activities carried out on three students fpr 14 days with reframing techniques, it shows that clients or students can successfully control their emotions. From this study it can be concluded that the counselee or students can frame, frame, view from a different angle more positively in responding to the triggers of their angry emotions so that students can overcome and control their angry emotions in everyday life.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the cynema therapy media in group guidance to increase student self-efficacy. This research approach is quantitative. This type of research uses the One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design research design. This study consisted of the dependent variable, namely self-efficacy and the independent variable, namely group guidance services using cynema therapy media. The population in this study were high school and vocational high school students in RT 3 and 4 in Kepuh Kiriman village, from that population, 5 students were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the average score of students' self-efficacy in Kepuh Kiriman village from the pre-test average score of 36.2 in the low category and the average score after the student was given treatment, the average post-test result was 66 high category. Thus, it proves that there is a significant influence on the use of cynema therapy media in group guidance to increase student self-efficacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan teknik modeling simbolik dalam mengurangi masalah interaksi negatif di media sosial pada siswa SMP YPS Singkole. Adapun bentuk kegiatan ini adalah layanan konseling kelompok. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 6 orang konseli yang merupakan siswa kelas VII SMP YPS Singkole Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Tahapan-tahapan dalam kegiatan layanan konseling kelompok yaitu terdiri dari: (1) tahap pembentukan, (2) tahap peralihan, (3) tahap kegiatan, dan (4) tahap pengakhiran. Prosedur teknik modeling simbolik yang dilakukan antara lain: (1) tahap pembahasan masalah, (2) tahap perhatian, (3) tahap penyimpanan dalam ingatan, (4) tahap reproduksi motorik, dan (5) tahap motivasi. Hasil dari kegiatan layanan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu menunjukkan interaksi positif di media sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impacts of android cellphone dependence on children, describing parents' efforts in overcoming android cellphone dependence on children, and describing the response in children to the efforts given by their parents. In this research, in Kaweron Village, District, there are two children who are key informants, while supporting informants such as private academic tutors, private Koran tutors and siblings of one of the informants and parents. The data were collected by using observation, interview, and documentation methods called data triangulation. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions and verification. Research findings show that children's dependence on android phones, such as staying up late playing online or offline games until late at night, makes eyes tired, feels worried if one day doesn't hold an android phone and sometimes sweats palms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatar belakang adanya siswa di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Muara Pinang mengalami ketakutan dalam menyampaikan keinginan kepada orang tuanya. Dari laporan wali kelas dan guru mata pelajaran, siswa tersebut di dalam kelas menjadi pendiam,  lebih senang menyendiri, dan tidak fokus belajar. Sehingga guru BK melakukan konseling individual untuk mencari tahu permasalahan siswa tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan konseling Gestalt dengan teknik Empty Chair. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara Purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1)Konseli dapat mengungkapkan perasaan dan pemikirannya kepada orang tua dengan nyaman (2)Konseli dapat menganalisis pemikiran dan perasaan lawan bicara (orang tua) (3)Konseli dapat memperoleh kesadaran yang lebih penuh dalam menginternalisasikan konflik yang ada pada dirinya (4)Konseli dapat mengambil keputusan dan bertanggung jawab dengan keputusannya. Dari hasil penelitan yang telah dilakukan didapat perubahan yang terjadi pada siswa yang mengikuti konseling individual dengan teknik empty chair. Perubahan tersebut yakni siswa yang awalnya memiliki kesulitan dalam mengungkapkan masalah kepada orangtuanya menjadi lebih rileks dan santai ketika menyampaikan masalah yang ia hadapi kemudian bersama-sama mencari solusi terhadap permasahan yang ia hadapi

Abstract

Kebijakan pembelajaran daring selama pandemi COVID-19 menjadi solusi utama agar proses pembelajaran tetap dapat berlangsung. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat kendala dan kekurangan. Banyak fenomena yang menunjukkan terjadinya kejenuhan belajar dikalangan peserta didik selama masa pandemi COVID-19 salah satunya di SMP Negeri 4 Bissappu. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengatasi kejenuhan belajar peserta didik selama masa pandemi COVID-19 melalui  konseling kelompok  dengan pendekatan Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC). Konseling kelompok meliputi 4 tahapan yaitu, Tahap pembentukan, tahap peralihan, tahap inti dan tahap pengakhiran. Kegiatan konseling kelompok ini melibatkan 1 orang Guru BK dan 6 orang peserta. Hasil dari kegiatan konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan SFBC  membantu peserta didik mendapatkan solusi dari permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi dan fokus pada pemecahan masalahnya bukan mengorek tentang penyebabnya, membantu konseli mengembangkan dirinya dalam mengatasi masalah yang sedang dihadapi yaitu kejenuhan belajar.

Abstract

This article is based on the author's observations and experiences, that in SMA Negeri 8 Luwu Timur there are still many students who skip school. The author's goal is to find out how to apply group counseling to overcome student truancy behavior in SMA Negeri 8 Luwu Timur. The conclusion of this research is that there are many students who like to skip school because of lack of motivation to learn, do not like certain subjects and lack of awareness of the importance of education. The author's efforts in overcoming the truancy behavior of Class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Luwu Timur are: conducting group counseling using token economy techniques, namely the token economy is a behavior modification designed to increase unwanted behavior by using tokens (signs). . Individuals receive tokens immediately after displaying the desired behavior. The tokens are collected and can be exchanged for an object or full honor. In order to review the changes that exist in students, then (1) BK teachers are more involved in establishing communication between students; (2) BK teachers collaborate with related parties such as homeroom teachers and subject teachers.

Abstract

Application of Person Centered Counseling to Improve Students' Learning Motivation. This article is based on the author's observations and experiences, that in SMP Negeri 4 Pa'jukukang there are still many students who have low learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of person centered counseling in increasing students' learning motivation at SMPN 4 Pa'jukukang for the Academic Year 2021/2022. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 6 students who had low learning motivation. Data collection techniques using observation or direct observation and interviews. The results showed that person centered counseling can increase students' learning motivation.
