abdasastra : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Jawa (Sabdasastra : Journal of Javanese Language Education) is an open-access journal published by Department of Javanese Language Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret. The first issue of 2017 Volume 1 No 1 has ten articles. Sabdasastra has two issues in a year and it will be published in March and September. The focus and scope of this journal are language education, literature, philology, linguistics, culture, and local wisdom in Java.

Abstract

One of the important components in the human communication process is language. When communicating, references are often found. The reference to speech certainly contains a context. The reference is defined as deixis. Deixis is the use of words or other forms of language that have a function as a pointer to a certain function or thing. This article aims to analyze the form of deixis in the news in Panjebar Semangat magazine. Qualitative descriptive is the method used in this research. The approach used is a pragmatic approach in the field of deixis studies. The data in this study were sourced from documents in the form of deixis contained in a newsletter in the Panjebar Semangat magazine. Data was collected by document analysis through a collection of Javanese news in Panjebar Semangat magazine July-September 2021 edition. Interactive data analysis technique is a technique in data analysis. The steps of interactive analysis are collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. In this study, the forms of deixis found included 27 data of persona deixis, 11 data of place deixis, 27 of time deixis, 23 data of discourse deixis, and 28 social deixis. The functions of deixis in the pawarta in Panjebar Semangat magazine are adjusted based on the context in the discourse.

Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING IN THE MATERIAL OF THE PLAYGROUND SONG 'GUNDHUL PACUL' IN MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAHThe Merdeka Curriculum is a learning curriculum presented to overcome the learning crisis in Indonesia. One form of implementing an independent curriculum is by changing less effective learning concepts to become more effective with the concept of differentiated learning. Tembang dolanan learning materials in Javanese language subjects at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah are able to provide a deeper understanding of meaning for students. This research aims to explore the process of implementing differentiated learning in the Gubdhul Pacul song at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive design. The focus of this research is the implementation of differentiated learning on the Dolanan song 'Gundhul Pacul' material at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The data collection technique in this research uses literature studies from various library sources. Researchers hope that with this research, the learning process can be made more enjoyable and able to accommodate every difference in student characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ekologi sastra pada novel Prau Layar ing Kali Code karya Budi Sardjono. Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian yang dilaksanakan berupa novel Prau Layar ing Kali Code karya Budi Sardjono cetakan pertama dan informan. Sumber data berupa novel Prau Layar ing Kali Code yang menjadi sumber data utama. Data ekologi sastra berupa kutipan-kutipan novel yang mengandung unsur lingkungan atau kritik mengenai lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakana purposive sampling dalam teknik sampling. Pengumpulan data menerapkan analisis data serta wawancara. Triangulasi teori serta sumber data merupakan teknik yang digunakan untuk uji validitas. Teknik analisis mengunakan model mengalir (flow model) melalui tahap-tahap, yakni (1) pengumpulan data; (2) reduksi data; (3) penyajian data; dan (4) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan dapat diberi simpulan, 1) Mitos dianggap menjadi suatu pertanda; 2) lingkungan berada di pedesaan yang berada di lereng gunung dan sungai yang ada di sekitar Yogyakarta; 3) Interaksi tokoh dengan lingkungan sekitar dapat menimbulkan berbagai macam pengaruh. Hasil penelitian ini setidaknya dapat memberikan wawasan dalam melestarikan lingkungan.

Abstract

This research discusses the socio-cultural values reflected in the lyrics of the keroncong song by Paksi Band, which represents life in society. These values describe ideal behavior that is in line with the traditions and character of society. The aim of this research is to identify the socio-cultural values contained in the lyrics of Paksi Band's keroncong songs, describe them, and relate them to the realities of existing society. The data in this research was obtained through text documentation on a collection of relevant song lyrics, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a focus on socio-cultural values in the collection of Paksi Band keroncong song lyrics. The results of this research found 16 data related to socio-cultural values, consisting of 10 data regarding community values and norms, 1 data regarding cultural dynamics, 1 data regarding community dynamics, and 4 data related to societal system problems. It is hoped that further research can expand the study of socio-cultural values or analyze the more complex values contained in Paksi Band's songs. The theoretical implications of this research contribute to the development of the study of socio-cultural values in Paksi Band songs, which are part of Javanese literature and culture.
