Jurnal Manajemen Sistem Informasi merupakan Jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh UNIVERSITAS DINAMIKA BANGSA. Jurnal MSI Menerbitkan Jurnal 4 kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan Maret, Juni, September dan Desember. Misi dari Jurnal Manajemen Sistem Informasi adalah untuk menyebarluaskan, mengembangkan dan menfasilitasi hasil penelitian mengenai Ilmu Sistem Informasi dan juga dapat menjadi wadah bagi para dosen, guru, peneliti dan para praktisi dalam bidang teknologi informasi dari seluruh Indonesia, dalam melakukan pertukaran informasi tentang hasil-hasil penelitian terbaru yang telah dilakukan. <![CDATA[Catur Sentosa Anugerah Jambi in processing employee salary still use microsoft excel and book still get trouble, such as : calculation salary is so slow and less than accurate due to the existence of an employee who works, the occurrence of no cheating in the recording the presence of employees and it difficult to obtain of data accuracy the presence of an employee to committed acts of a fine employees as a result of the delay in salary process employees take a long time in doing ' monthly salary report employees. The purpose of research is analyzing and design system information of employee salary using PHP programming language and MySQL database. Metodology of this research use waterfall model and unified model language using use case diagram, activity diagram, and class diagram. Conclusion of this system can featuring employee data, allowance data, bonus data, attendance data in structured and display reports required. <![CDATA[Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Provinsi Jambi does its sport facilities reservation business process conventionally. To know the availability of a certain sport facilities to be reserved, people have to submit a letter to this institution and wait for the response letter. Sport facilities reserved are recorded manually in a ledger, which is at the risk of being damaged or being lost, and mistake at recording the reservation can results in overlapping reservation schedule. Sport Facilities Reservation Information System at Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Provinsi Jambi is designed to make reservation process easy for both public and the institution. This system is designed by using object oriented modeling in the form of use case diagram, activity diagram, and class diagram. The output of this research is a prototype of Sport Facilities Reservation Information System at Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Provinsi Jambi.]]>

<![CDATA[The archive management information system at the UPTD-BPSPT Jambi Province Food Crops, Horticulture and Livestock Service is currently still being done manually. Where archiving still records using an agenda book in recording existing archive activities. As well as data / files that will be archived have a different encoding or archive number. This results in frequent reports that data that is not ren will be processed. Because of this, delays often occur in the preparation of reports, and the related employees must re-verify the data / files in the relevant sections. Existing data / files are also stored manually. Where they still use the help of filing cabinets for storage. This archive management information system is designed for the process of archiving data / files at the UPTD-BPSPT Jambi Province Food Crops, Horticulture and Livestock Service. This system is designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) object-based modeling technique in the form of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The output of this research is a prototype design of the archive management information system at the UPTD-BPSPT Food Crops, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry Department of Jambi Province.]]>

<![CDATA[Acceptance of new students in MAN 2 Jambi City is about 2 registration lanes namely the test path and the non test path. Reception of new students is always at school every year. However, the limitations of school facilities and infrastructure make it unable to accommodate all prospective students who have just registered, for this reason it is necessary to select the admission of new students. In this study, the authors approve computer-based decision support systems. This decision support system only supports limited assistance or provides recommendations in decisions not to support the decision maker's job. This new student selection decision support method was built using 2 methods, the SAW and WP methods. Then it is designed using case diagrams, activity diagrams and class diagrams.]]>

<![CDATA[Strategic planning of information systems is indispensable by an organization before developing an information system. This is done to minimize and prevent failures in information system investments that may cause the purpose of the information system to be out of line with the organization's objectives. To support the realization of the vision and mission of the Rasau Link Regional Course and Training Institute, the authors conducted research and drafted, and proposed an information system strategic planning framework based on the strategic planning methodology of information systems by Ward and Peppard supported by SWOT Analysis, Porter Value Chain, Key Factors of Success (CSF) and Application Portfolio. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done in this study can be known important factors necessary in the development and application of information systems, as well as the applications needed to manage the data and support the business functions of the main activities of the Course Institute and Training Rantau Rasau Link.]]>

<![CDATA[The Jambi City Environmental Service does not yet have an information system for monitoring and evaluating the regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD) which can facilitate budget control for activities to be carried out. The process of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget at the Jambi City Environmental Service still relies on the activity control card made by each financial management staff manually, resulting in frequent errors in calculating the realization of budget absorption each month and lack of control from the Technical Implementing Officer. Activities in each sector to control the cash budget that have been planned beforehand, so that there are often delays in budget disbursement. The purpose of this research is to analyze and design an information system for monitoring and evaluation of regional revenue and expenditure budgets in accordance with the needs of the Jambi City Environmental Service. With this information system, the Jambi City Environmental Service can make it easier in terms of budget realization information. Designing the Information System for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget at the Jambi City Environmental Service uses object-based modeling techniques to describe system analysis and design, namely in the form of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The output of this research is in the form of a prototype design of the system, Analysis and Design of Information Systems for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget at the Environmental Service of Jambi City. Suggestions for further research in order to complement with other data management, such as reports on the physical realization of disbursed budgets.]]>

<![CDATA[Junior High School 8 Jambi City, which was founded in 1982, has a role as an educational institution that has the authority and duties in the development and implementation of education. Advances in technology and science are new challenges for schools that must manage integrated knowledge assets, sharing and innovation that will encourage the creation of knowledge management. The problem faced by SMPN 8 Jambi City is the unavailability of a system that can organize, manage, and disseminate knowledge properly and in a structured manner. In order for this problem to be resolved, a system that can manage existing knowledge is needed. In this study, researchers used the UML (Unified Modeling System) method as a design and development tool. This research resulted in a design of an Android-based Knowledge Management System that is able to identify, collect, documentation, manage and disseminate existing knowledge at SMPN 8 Jambi City.]]>

<![CDATA[Student satisfaction services at Adiwangsa University, Jambi are currently done manually by filling out a questionnaire in paper form. One of the crowds found during this process was the relatively long time for the compilation of the questionnaire results. To facilitate the process of filling out the questionnaire carried out by students, a website page is needed as a student satisfaction service information system that can manage the summary of the questionnaire results properly and quickly. This study aims to design a prototype of the performance information system for lecturers and educational staff at Adiwangsa University Jambi. <![CDATA[PT Multi Anugrah Abadi does not yet have a computerized employee performance appraisal information system technology to measure employee performance and data processing. In the process of performance appraisal is carried out using a performance appraisal form in the form of a paper which must be filled in by each department head for the performance of his subordinates. To know the progress of employee performance appraisals, the HRD Department must recapitulate the results of the assessment for each period using office excel. So the authors aim to analyze and design an employee performance appraisal information system by implementing a web-based performance appraisal information system which is expected to facilitate the employee performance appraisal process. This research framework consists of literature study, data collection, data analysis, system development, and reporting. The author's system development method is to design use cases, activity diagrams, class diagrams and system prototypes that refer to the field of software engineering (RPL). This employee performance appraisal information system can perform the performance appraisal process and manage employee data properly in order to streamline and streamline the performance appraisal process and speed up time and minimize the error rate when entering data. The author also expects this system to be developed again and officers who can be responsible for operating the system to prevent fraud.]]>
