Abstract

This study aims to find the impact of ESG Principles on Dividend Policy in companies in Malaysia. Malaysia was determined to be the object of research because Malaysia is one of the countries with the highest 10-year environmental change in the Southeast Asian region with an index value of 10.30. The results obtained indicate that companies in Malaysia have implemented the ESG Principles although the detected influence is only limited to the governance pillar and environmental pillar. The results also indicate that during the crisis during COVID-19. Abstract

State governance with sustainable development goals cannot be separated from the SDGs. SDGs are goals, targets and indicators that have been agreed upon by countries associated with the United Nation to determine a country's political agenda and policies. This will have an impact on every activity in the country, including the economic sector. The running of a country’s economy is closely related to the banking industry which manages the flow of funds from the public, so its role in everyday life is very important. As a form of commitment to implementing sustainable economic development, from now on every bank must implement CSR to improving the quality of life and a beneficial environment. The wider CSR activities carried out by banks will indirectly have an impact on the company's customers image so that it can encourage improvements in the banking financial performance. Improving financial performance also influences the preparation of good corporate governance or is known as a moderating factor. This research aims to analyze the influence of CSR on company performance with the moderating role of firm size. Data analysis will use multiple linear regression. This research will use data obtained from the banking industry in Indonesia in the 2018-2022 time period.

Focusing on the financial challenges faced by millennials and Generation Z, this study aims to explore the influence of technology, digitalization, and social media on their financial management, as well as the impact of economic instability on financial planning. Through a quantitative survey of 50 respondents, this research measures variables such as financial education, the influence of social media, and economic uncertainty, as well as financial behavior and financial well-being. Analysis using Multiple Linear Regression shows that financial literacy plays an important role in shaping adaptive and wise financial behavior, avoiding consumerism, and considering financial future. These findings suggest that improving financial literacy can help the younger generation in facing financial challenges, with recommendations for more comprehensive integration of financial education in the curriculum and the use of technology in effective financial management. Abstract

In recent times, there has been a growing concern among businesses about their environmental practices, many businesses continue to operate with the primary goal of maximizing profits while disregarding social benefits. Such businesses do not consider environmental sustainability. The main objective of this research is to explore relevant concepts for green entrepreneurship. Furthermore, for the growth and development of green entrepreneurship, social support from universities is required to identify appropriate behavioral standards. This research uses a systematic literature review. The findings reveal the need for clarification on relevant concepts, such as knowledge transfer in entrepreneurship, green business financing, and green business decision making processes. The study also found that there is a lack of literature on how universities support green entrepreneurship to address traditional entrepreneurial behavior. In other words, there is a lack of information needed to understand the role of universities in promoting the transition to more creative and sustainable green entrepreneurial behavior. Therefore, it is recommended that the research focus more on identifying the processes through which universities support green entrepreneurial behavior. This is expected to contribute to the improvement of green entrepreneurial behavior.

Abstract

Bank ABC is one of Indonesia's largest banks and a state-owned enterprise. A bank's reputation is critical in attracting customers, maintaining stakeholder trust, and influencing the company's position in the market. What is believed to affect the bank's reputation is a social and environmental concern known as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of three CSR programs of Bank ABC on the bank's reputation. The three CSR programs have been measured for their usefulness to the community using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) method. Data were collected through a survey with respondents from the community of banking service users and CSR beneficiaries of Bank ABC. The purposive sampling method became the sample method of this research. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. Program 2 (Bank Sampah Saguling) and Program 3 (Sortir Lemon) produced significant results based on the SEM-PLS results. At the same time, Program 1 (Ini SekolahKu) produced insignificant results. Therefore, backward elimination was carried out with a significance level of 5%. Using backward elimination, it was obtained that Program 2 (Saguling Garbage Bank) and Program 3 (Sort Lemon) influenced ABC Bank's Reputation with an R^2 value of 78.3%.

Abstract

The past few decades have witnessed a dramatic rise in consumer interest for environmental protection, pushing companies to adopt more sustainable practices. This shift is reflected in the explosion of green marketing, particularly on social media platforms. Social media serves as an important communication channel for today's environmentally conscious and socially active consumers, making it a prime target for companies promoting eco-friendly products and initiatives. While prior research has explored green marketing in general, the specific influence of green marketing on social media and its impact on consumer purchase decisions remain relatively under-investigated. This systematic literature review, conducted using PRISMA guidelines, analyses relevant academic journals published between 2019 and 2024. It examines how companies leverage social media using green marketing, and how these efforts influence consumer’s purchase decision journey. This in-depth analysis provided a descriptive breakdown of the included articles, categorizing them by author, publication year, journal, citations, and other relevant information. This systematic review offers valuable insights into current trends within the realm of green social media marketing. It not only highlights established research directions but also pinpoints areas where further investigation is crucial. This comprehensive literature review outlines current trends on the topic, identifies gaps in existing research, and proposes directions for future studies.

Abstract

Banking performance has gone through various phases with different challenges, namely before the COVID-19 pandemic, during the pandemic, and post-pandemic. This study specifically describes the condition of banking in Indonesia with a focus on the dynamic movement of deposits and their impact on banking profits at each phase. During the post-pandemic phase, people tend to shift their funds to deposit products, seeking higher returns by taking advantage of the increase in the BI rate. This phenomenon requires banks to develop effective strategies in managing interest costs in order to maintain sustainable profit growth. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through in-depth interviews and documentation from one of the banks in Indonesia. The research findings show that a successful deposit strategy must focus on managing low-cost funds. With this strategy, banks can maintain and even increase profit growth amidst changing market dynamics, ensuring financial sustainability in the context of economic changes and evolving monetary policies

Abstract

This research discusses product inventory optimization by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) approach in the context of circular economy. Circular economy is an economic model that aims to minimize waste and maximize the use of resources with the concept of make-use-return, which is based on the reuse of existing products and materials. In this context, EOQ is used as a tool to optimize product order quantities using the circularity index. The objective of this study is to determine the optimal inventory level that not only reduces wastage and waste, but also takes into account the positive environmental and economic impacts. In this study, the decision variables considered are product order quantity and circularity level. Data is taken from Toko Papa Singkong as a case study to test this model. The results of the analysis show that the application of EOQ in the context of a circular economy can result in a more efficient and sustainable inventory strategy. The practical implication of this research is to provide guidance for companies in managing their inventory better, while taking into account the principles of the circular economy. In conclusion, this research provides an important contribution in the development of a sustainable inventory strategy in the era of circular economy.
