Abstract

Purpose of the study: To measure the effect of parenting styles on children's creativity in group B state kindergartens, Muara Bulian district, Batanghari district. Methodology: The type of research used is a type of quantitative research using a posttest group design. The sample used in this study was 133 students. Main Findings: Based on the results of data analysis for parenting pattern data with a sample of 133 children, an average value of 48.79 was obtained, and a standard deviation of 11.29. For data on children's creativity with a sample size of 73, the average deviation is 49.21, the deviation is 9.44. For parenting style Lo (0.0900) < Ltable (0.1036), children's creativity data (0.1015) < Ltable (0.1036). So it can be concluded that both data come from normally distributed populations. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study examines the influence of parental patterns on early childhood creativity.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: To find out how far the Old Stone House site has been used as a learning resource for Indonesian history under the influence of Islam for education and students. Methodology: The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive text approach. As for data collection techniques using qualitative data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Main Findings: The results of the study show that there are several heritage buildings of the Jambi sultanate at the time of spreading Islamic teachings and during the Dutch colonial period which had Indonesian history during the Islamic Influence era. Novelty/Originality of this study: The Islamic legacy in the Olak Kemang sub-district is very important to be used as a learning resource so that learning Indonesian history under Islamic influence is more enjoyable, challenging, and meaningful.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to determine the effect of applying the PQ4R strategy with a scientific approach to the ability to solve mathematical problems in social arithmetic material. Methodology: This research method is quantitative. The research that will be used is true experimental research. In this study, there were 2 sample class groups, namely the experimental and control classes. The author will provide learning treatment using the PQ4R learning strategy with a scientific approach to the experimental class, while the control class, it remains with the usual expository strategy. Main Findings: Based on the results of student activity research, it was obtained that 80% of students were active from the total number of students. Then the assessment results of student activity observation sheets are included in the "Very Good" category. The results mentioned above have achieved the criteria for success in a lesson so that the use of the PQ4R learning strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) affects the learning process of student activities. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is the use of PQ4R learning strategies in fostering students' problem-solving abilities in mathematics.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to examine the value of education because the value of education provides extraordinary benefits for creating a living environment, and can provide the most valuable information regarding outlook on life, the future, and assist humans in preparing their essential needs to deal with change. Methodology: This research is included in the qualitative descriptive research. The instruments used in this study are based on the characteristics found in the literature review. These characteristics are grouped based on educational values: having faith in and fearing God Almighty, having a noble character, being healthy, knowledgeable, democratic, and being responsible. The data analysis technique used in this study uses the mark reading technique, namely looking directly at the markers being studied. Main Findings: In the customary marriage verses of the Mersam Community, Batanghari Regency, there are six educational values, namely the first is the value of education of faith and piety to God Almighty contained in the verses (1) Apply, (2) Order to Pick Up the Bride, (3) Open Lanse. The value of education of faith and piety to God Almighty is manifested by orders to carry out and obey His prohibitions, be grateful and pray. Novelty/Originality of this study: Assessment of wisdom values in the environment is very important to do, because by knowing the wisdom values that are around, this can be an innovation for teachers in implementing learning.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh: 1). Pemanfaatan Sumber Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi. 2). Disiplin Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi. 3). Pemanfaatan Sumber Belajar dan DisiplinBelajar terhadap Hasil Belajar ekonomi Siswa Kelas X SMAN 5 Batanghari. Metodologi: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Ex Post Fakto yaitu meneliti peristiwa yang telah terjadi dan mengetahui faktor penyebabnya. Dengan jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 110 siswa dari 152 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket instrument berupa kuesioner dengan 18 item Pemanfaatan Sumber Belajar, 19 item Disiplin Belajar, dan Hasil Belajar dari nilai ujian mid semester ganjil mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X SMAN 5 Batanghari. Temuan Utama: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel pemanfaatan sumber belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X SMAN 5 Batanghari di buktikan dengan analisis regresi berganda Y = 7,162 + 0,271 X1 + 0,565 X2 dengan t-hitung 2,106 > 1,65909 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,038 < 0,05 adanya pengaruh signifikan dari variabel pemanfaatan sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa t-hitung 7,250 > 1,65909 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,000< 0,05 adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa, dan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel pemanfaatan sumber belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X SMAN 5 Batanghari dengan f-hitung 48,516 > f-tabel 3,93 dan nilai R square sebesar 0,476. Keterbaruan/Keaslian dari Penelitian: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan sumber belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X SMAN 5 Batanghari. Dari kesimpulan tersebut maka perlu adanya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan cara lebih memperhatikan sumber belajar dan disiplin siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesantunan berbahasa para siswa dengn guru dalam proses pembelajaran bidang studi bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII SMPN 1 Limbur Kabupaten Muara Bungo. Kemudian mendeskripsikan kesantunan berbahasa antarsiswa dalam proses pembelajaran bidang studi bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII SMPN 1 Libur Kabupaten Muaro Bungo. Metodologi: Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena dapat menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang dapat diamati. Temuan Utama: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap pematuhan dan pelanggaran terhadap prinsip sopan santun siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Limbur kabupaten Muara Bungo dan setelah melakukan analisis terhadap tuturan langsung siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Limbur kabupaten Muaro Bungo, peneliti menyimpulkan pemakaian prinsip sopan santun yang sering digunakan antara siswa dengan guru kelas VIII SMPN 1 Limbur Muara kabupaten Bungo adalah maksim kedermawan dan maksim pujian. Maksim kedermawanan sering digunakan karena adanya rasa saling menghoramti antara siswa dengan guru. Maksim yang sering dilanggar adalah maskim simpati. Keterbaruan/Keaslian dari Penelitian: Mengetahui kesantunan berbahasa dalam proses pembelajaran bidang studi bahasa indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara meningkatkan karakter bersahabat/komunikatif melalui metode bermain peran pada siswa kelas III A SDN 80/I Muara Bulian. Metodologi: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas III A SDN 80/I Muara Bulian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi proses pembelajaran dan lembar observasi karakter bersahabat/komunikatif siswa. Peneliti menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data kualitatif penelitian ini berupa deskripsi proses pembelajaran karakter bersahabat/komunikatif dengan menggunakan metode bermain peran. Setelah data terkumpul, peneliti menganalisis, mereduksi, dan menyimpulkan data tersebut. Sedangkan analisis data kuantitatif pada penelitian ini berupa pemberian skor pada setiap aspek yang menjadi indikator penilaian. Temuan Utama: Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode bermain peran dapat meningkatkan karakter bersahabat/komunikatif siswa. Keterbaruan/Keaslian dari Penelitian: Keterbaruan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan metode bermain peran untuk meningkatkan karakter bersahabat/komunikatif siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik, karena motivasi belajar merupakan hal perlu dimiliki peserta didik agar peserta didik tidak malas, dan pantang menyerah dalam belajar. Metodologi: Sampel pada penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 2 Sarolangun yang berjumlah 71 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dukomentasi. Angket dipergunakan untuk mengungkapkan gambaran motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Sarolangun. Dokumentasi yaitu berupa data hasil belajar siswa yang diambil dari leger nilai semester ganjil. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi. Temuan Utama: Penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa diperoleh R Square sebesar 0,173 atau yang memberi pengertian sebesar 17,3%. Dimana 17,3% hasil belajar di pengaruhi oleh motivasi belajar. sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak dibahas oleh peneliti. Diketahui bahwa taraf signifikan pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% menunjukkan t hitung > t tabel (3,801 > 1,6672). Dengan demikian hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Berarti ada pengaruh antara motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 2 Sarolangun. Keterbaruan/Keaslian dari Penelitian: Mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan siswa tentang pemanfaatan limbah dengan perilaku pengelolaan limbah kelapa sawit. Metodologi: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi. Angket digunakan untuk mengetahui perilaku siswa dalam pengelolaan limbah kelapa sawit. Analisis data angket perilaku yang merupakan jenis semi terbuka tertutup dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Temuan Utama: Adanya hubungan positif antara pengetahuan siswa tentang pemanfaatan limbah dengan perilaku siswa dalam pengelolaan limbah kelapa sawit. Keterbaruan/Keaslian dari Penelitian: Menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan siswa tentang pemanfaatan limbah dengan perilaku pengelolaan limbah kelapa sawit.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study was to identify the benefits of participating in content mastery services in terms of attitudes and study habits, learning techniques/learning methods, and educational planning. Content mastery services in junior high schools are core activities supporting the implementation of the content mastery service process. Methodology: The population in this study were all students at SMP Negeri 37 Muaro Jambi with a total of 38 students. This research is a population research because all members of the population are the research samples. Data in this study were collected through a questionnaire with a dichotomous scale and processed using a percentage formula. Main Findings: The results of the study showed that (1) Identification of the benefits of participating in content mastery services related to attitudes and study habits at SMP Negeri 37 Muaro Jambi was at good quality (76.9%) meaning that attitudes and study habits were good. (2) Identification of the benefits of participating in content mastery services for indicators of learning techniques / learning methods at SMP Negeri 37 Muaro Jambi that are related to being of good quality (75.6%) meaning that learning techniques / learning methods are good, and (3) Identification of the benefits of participating in services mastery of the related educational planning indicator content at SMP Negeri 37 Muaro Jambi is of good quality (81%) meaning that planning for education is good. The implications of the research results for guidance and counseling services can be carried out in the following steps: (1) Help develop a classroom atmosphere, teacher-student relationships and student-student relationships that support the implementation of guidance and counseling. (2) Providing opportunities and facilities for students who need guidance and counseling services/activities to participate/undergo the intended services/activities. (3) Participate in special activities for handling student problems, such as case conferences, and (4) Assist in gathering information in the context of evaluating guidance and counseling services and follow-up efforts. Novelty/Originality of this study: Knowing the benefits of participating in content mastery services in terms of attitudes and study habits, learning techniques/learning methods, and educational planning.
