Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teacher's role in improving the discipline of fourth grade students at SD 1 Gribig. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. Data was collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and analysis of documents related to school policies and teaching practices. The research participants included fourth grade teachers and fourth grade students at SD 1 Gribig. The results of the study show that teachers have a significant role in improving student discipline. The teacher acts as a teacher, educator, and mentor who provides clear examples and expectations regarding disciplinary behavior. Teachers are also responsible for creating a conducive learning environment and managing discipline in the classroom. They involve students in setting class rules, provide consistent rewards and sanctions, and provide individual guidance when needed. Obstacles faced by teachers in improving student discipline include lack of attention from students to rules, differences in the level of discipline between students, and lack of support from the environment outside the school. In conclusion, the teacher's role in improving the discipline of fourth grade students at SD 1 Gribig is very important. Teachers have the responsibility to shape student discipline behavior through teaching, mentoring, and setting a conducive learning environment. In facing obstacles, teachers need to use appropriate strategies and collaborations to achieve the goal of increasing student discipline.

Abstract

Implementation of the Reading aloud strategy to increase understanding of educational literacy in the SDN Merdeka Mangunharjo 6 curriculum. This study aims to improve students' literacy understanding through fun reading strategies.The subjects of this study were all 21 grade III students consisting of 12 boys and 9 girls. The research was carried out for 2 meetings, where each meeting was started by giving ice breaking with the aim of increasing students' enthusiasm before receiving learning in any form, after that giving literacy and then continuing with giving a question that was used to measure the level of students' understanding of the reading contained in the pretest and posttest. The results showed that there was an increase in students' understanding of literacy after using the reading aloud strategy.

Abstract

The influence of rapid developments in technology and information, one of which is through the use of Gadgets (smartphones). The use of gadgets by children and adolescents at GKI Kasih Perumnas has a negative impact, namely reducing concentration power and increasing the dependence of children and adolescents to be able to do various things that they should be able to do on their own. Activities and patterns of daily behavior of children and adolescents change, such as loss of attention. In real life, because they tend to focus on virtual life and often communicate through social media accounts compared to direct communication in the midst of a social environment, children and adolescents become private individuals, interfere with the health of the brain, eyes, and hands, suffer from insomnia, exhibit, violent behavior, fade creativity, are exposed to the threat of cyberbullying, and have access to gadgets that display all things that children and adolescents should not see yet. Addiction to the excessive use of Gadgets has a health impact on children and adolescents, which is known as nomophobia. If this dependence is not addressed properly, it will cause problems, especially in terms of the development of character education for children and adolescents in a social environment. The research method used is a qualitative method by distributing questionnaires so that it can be seen how much influence the use of gadgets has on children and adolescents in the GKI Kaih Perumnas congregation. Approximately 80% of children and adolescents do not ignore the surrounding social environment, even though they are using gadgets. It can be concluded that there are still many teenagers who care about their surroundings. However, currently, many children and adolescents do not understand how and when gadgets are used properly. Restrictions and directions are needed from within each device while using it.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the forms of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts contained in a film entitled "Tanah Air Beta Karya Ari Sihasale". The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are film speech acts while the data source is the film “Tanah Air Beta by Ari Sihasale. Data collection techniques are observing techniques and note taking techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 types of speech acts, namely: namely: locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts. In the film Tanah Air Beta Karya Ari Sihasale, there are 30 forms of illocutionary speech acts which are divided into 14 assertive speech acts, 13 directive speech acts, 2 expressive speech acts, 1 commissive speech act, and 3 commissive speech acts. verbal perlocutionary speech acts, 3 nonverbal perlocutionary speech acts, and 2 nonverbal perlocutionary speech acts.

Abstract

Education has an important role in creating quality human resources. Efforts to improve human quality are aimed at creating national cadres who will carry out development in the future. It is through education that the quality of human resources can be improved. The role of the teacher is very important because it is the teacher who deals directly with students as future cadres of the nation. So it is required that there is an education system and appropriate learning model in teaching and learning activities for each subject so as to create an effective, efficient and attractive learning situation for every student to always be active in the learning process.Identification of the problem in this study is how to increase the creativity of fourth grade students at SDN Poris Pelawad 6 in the 2022/2023 academic year by using problem-based learning. The background of the problem above, the research problem formulated is Can efforts to use the Problem Based Learning Model be able to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Poris Pelawad 6 academic year 2022/2023?Based on the identification of the problem above, the limitation of the problem in this study that can be stated is the ability of students' creativity in developing their thoughts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Penerapan Konseling Individu Dengan Teknik Assertive Training Untuk Meningkatkan Harga Diri Waria PSK (Studi Kasus Pada Klien“I” di Kota Lahat). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran Harga Diri pada klien “I” di Kota Lahat dan Bagaimana penerapan konseling individu dengan teknik assertive training untuk meningkatkan harga diri klien “I” waria PSK di kota Lahat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus, Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu klien “I”. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi Sedangkan teknik analisis data digunakan yaitu perjodohan pola, pembuatan eksplanasi dan analisis deret waktu. Adapun hasil dari penelitian bahwa gambaran harga diri yang dialami klien “I” terdapat beberapa aspek diantaranya ialah perasaan berharga, perasaan diterima dan perasaan mampu. Pada penerapan konseling individu dengan teknik assertive training dilakukan enam kali pertemuan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu tahap awal, tahap pertengahan dan tahap akhir. Meningkatkan harga diri dengan teknik assertive training merupakan proses untuk meningkatkan perilaku yang efektif pada individu agar tercapai kualitas hidup yang lebih baik dengan menggunakan 3 tahap yaitu role playing, modeling,dan social reward & coaching.

Abstract

Character education is an important thing in the educational process in schools. However, character education for children with special needs is often ignored by society. In fact, good character can help children with special needs to be able to overcome the challenges they face and become someone who is more independent. In fact, good character can help children with special needs to be able to overcome the challenges they face and become someone who is more independent. Character education is an important part of education that aims to shape the personality and morality of students. Character education does not only focus on cognitive aspects/a mental activity that is able to make individuals able to connect, assess and consider an existing event, but also on affective and skill aspects. However, not all students have the same opportunity to get good character education, especially for students with special needs. The research approach used in this research is an action research approach. This approach was chosen because this study aims to improve the quality of the implementation of character education patterns for children with special needs in elementary schools. The action research approach emphasizes the processes of development, implementation, and reflection in the context of actions taken by researchers and research participants. In the action research approach, researchers will work with research participants (teachers and students) to plan, implement, and evaluate actions taken to improve the quality of learning and the application of character education patterns to children with special needs. During the research process, researchers will reflect on the actions that have been taken and make improvements or adjustments needed to achieve the research objectives. It is hoped that the results of this study can make a real contribution in improving the quality of learning and the implementation of character education patterns for children with special needs in elementary schools. From the results of this study, it shows that the pattern of character education applied to children with special needs is very welcome and can assist teachers in educating the character of each student with special needs, where this character education can build character patterns in children or students with special needs. . starting from the pattern of thoughts, behavior, decency, behavior and much more in their character.

Abstract

In this technologically advanced and increasingly modern era, there are not a few students who have less than optimal learning outcomes in terms of cognitive, moral, and even ethical that students have which does not really describe a successful educational process. There are a number of students who drop out of school due to wrong associations, students who are morally corrupted, have no manners towards teachers or parents, do not speak kind words to other people and other cases that have occurred. For example, morally damaged children, such as skipping school, saying impolite words, dressing badly, stealing, slandering, bullying and so on. For this reason, education becomes learning outcomes as a reference or determinant of the success of the educator. The learning outcomes can affect student learning outcomes, one of which is student learning motivation. This motivation to learn is one of the important aspects or factors in the educational process, motivation to learn is a desire, ability, will that encourages someone to do something. Student motivation can be regarded as a critical level of success in achieving good learning outcomes. From several previous studies stated that this learning motivation has a very positive influence on student learning outcomes. From the results of the researchers' observations that in these schools the learning motivation of each child is different. It can be seen by behavior such as not attending on time when online learning takes place, not responding well when participating in the teaching and learning process taking place, collecting assignments at random or even past the specified collection time and other attitudes that illustrate the low motivation of student learning .From some of the descriptions above, the researcher raised a problem "The Influence of Learning Motivation on Learning Outcomes of Grade 4 Elementary School Students". It is hoped that this research will be useful for researchers, teachers, parents, students, and several other parties to gain knowledge and be able to pay attention and find ways so that students can have good learning motivation, by looking at and paying attention to these variables to improve learning outcomes for each child .

Abstract

Tolerance is a character value that respects diversity and pluralism. Tolerance needs to be instilled from elementary school age because at that age children are sensitive to the differences that exist in themselves and others so they need to be given an understanding regarding how to respect and respond to these differences. The purpose of writing this paper is to discuss tolerance integration strategies that can be carried out through learning and habituation in inclusive elementary schools through multicultural education. Inclusive primary schools are far more vulnerable to differences between students because they place normal students with students with special needs in one class. These conditions make it possible for interventions for children with special needs. By integrating the value of tolerance, students in inclusive elementary schools do not just learn to tolerate differences in ethnicity, religion, race and language, but students learn to respect all forms of deficiencies of students with children with special needs. One alternative to support the inculcation of the character of tolerance within inclusive elementary schools is through multicultural based learning. Multicultural-based learning directs students to view and be tolerant of all forms of differences, be it ethnicity, race, religion, ethnicity, and language, including differences in students with special needs.

Abstract

Assessment is the process of collecting and processing information to measure the achievement of student learning outcomes. The process is carried out through various assessment techniques, using various instruments, and comes from various sources to be more comprehensive. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which is research that prioritizes data collection or the reality of the problem based on the disclosure of data revealed by informants and written or spoken words from people or observed behavior with actual reality. The results of this study found that the process of obtaining assessments on students there are 2 (two) types of test techniques consisting of, description (essay) and objective tests. In taking assessments on students can be carried out on an ongoing basis to monitor the process of progress, improvement of results in the form of daily tests, midterm tests, semester tests, class promotion tests.
