Abstract

Post-streptococcal acute glomerulonephritis (PSAGN) is a form of glomerulonephritis that occurs after group A ?-hemolytic Streptococcus infection and is one of the leading causes of renal impairment in children. Although the prognosis is generally good, some patients develop serious complications, such as emergent hypertension, acute renal failure (AKI), congestive heart failure (CHF), and encephalopathy. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of complications in PSAGN patients at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. This study used a cross-sectional retrospective design with data from the medical records of PSAGN patients treated between January 2022 and September 2024. The results showed that emergency hypertension was significantly associated with edema and high serum creatinine levels. CHF was more common in patients with low albumin levels, while encephalopathy was found to correlate with excess nutritional status, proteinuria, and crisis hypertension. This study underscores the importance of close monitoring of PSAGN patients to detect early risk factors for complications and provide appropriate interventions to reduce morbidity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and discover the extent of the application of the value of Pancasila justice in labor regulations, both the legal structure, the substance of the legal material and the legal culture. To analyze and find the weaknesses of the application of the value of Pancasila justice in labor regulations to reconstruct Indonesian labor regulations, in realizing harmonious, dynamic and fair industrial relations based on the value of Pancasila justice. The sociological juridical research method is an approach to seeing a legal reality in society, this approach uses secondary data as the initial data which is then followed by primary data or field data, with the nature of analytical descriptive research. The theoretical foundation in this dissertation uses the theory of Pancasila justice, the theory of the legal system, the integrative theory and the theory of legal development, as well as the theory of legal protection and the theory of legal certainty. That the substance of the law is the part that determines the direction of law implementation and forms legal culture. The results of research on the construction of existing labor regulations have not been able to realize just industrial relations, because the legal substance (substance of the law) does not yet contain Pancasila justice values ??in labor regulations on an ideal and operational basis, so that a legal culture of dialogue has not yet been realized.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of religious tolerance education in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Ma'arif Bandung High School and Muhammadiyah 3 Plus Bandung High School. The purpose of this study is to analyze how religious tolerance is incorporated into Islamic religious education and school activities, identify strategies used to promote tolerance among students, and evaluate the effectiveness of these methods in fostering an inclusive and harmonious school environment. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, this study examines how religious tolerance is integrated into the curriculum, teaching methods, and school culture in two institutions affiliated with the two largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, namely Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah. The data collection methods used were surveys, interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research findings show that although neither school has a specific subject on religious tolerance, tolerance values are instilled in the Islamic Religious Education and Character Education (PAIBP) curriculum through specific themes and learning objectives. In addition, school activities, local curricula such as Aswaja (NU) and Kemuhammadiyahan (Muhammadiyah), and extracurricular programs further strengthen religious tolerance among students. The results of the study highlight that both schools have successfully integrated tolerance education through character-building activities and thematic lessons, fostering an environment of mutual respect among students. However, there are still challenges, especially in providing structured models for teachers to effectively teach religious tolerance.

Abstract

Transportation is an important part that cannot be separated from human life, as it plays a crucial role in various aspects, including socio-cultural, economic, engineering, political, defense, and legal sectors. Roads are one of the primary means of transportation that significantly impact the development and progress of a region by facilitating the movement of goods, services, and people. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the Maliana - Bobonaro road transportation section, which serves as a vital route connecting key areas and supporting local economic growth. This study utilizes the Calculation Capacity Road method based on the PKJI 2023 (Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines) to assess road performance and travel time. The results of the study indicate that the Maliana – Bobonaro road section demonstrates good performance, with a capacity (C) of 2735.85 smp/hour, a degree of saturation of 0.235 and 0.195, and a level of service categorized as A and B. These results suggest that the road operates efficiently with minimal congestion, ensuring smooth traffic flow and reducing travel time. However, continuous monitoring and periodic evaluations are essential to maintain this performance level, especially with potential future increases in traffic volume due to regional development. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and transportation planners in improving road infrastructure and ensuring sustainable transportation systems.

Abstract

This study analyzes the performance index of the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road Package 3 construction project using the Earned Value Method (EVM) to evaluate time and cost performance. Infrastructure projects, particularly toll roads, play a vital role in enhancing regional connectivity and economic growth. However, large-scale construction projects frequently face challenges such as cost overruns and delays. The Earned Value Method provides a comprehensive framework for measuring project performance by comparing planned costs, actual expenditures, and completed work. This research employs key performance indicators, including Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled (BCWS), Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP), and Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP), to determine the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI). The findings reveal that the project experienced schedule delays, with an SPI of 0.93, indicating that work progress was behind the planned schedule. However, the project maintained cost efficiency, as shown by a CPI of 1.06, reflecting lower actual costs than budgeted. The study highlights the importance of continuous performance monitoring using EVM to identify potential risks, optimize resource allocation, and support timely decision-making. The results provide valuable insights for project managers to improve efficiency and ensure project success in large-scale infrastructure developments.

Abstract

This research investigates the use of photosynthetic bacteria (PSB) and Jakaba liquid organic fertilizer (POC) as sustainable alternatives to chemical fertilizers for post-acclimatization Kepok Bung banana plants. Using a field experiment with a split-plot design, we tested three concentrations of PSB (10 ml/L, 15 ml/L, and 20 ml/L) and three concentrations of Jakaba POC (10 ml/L, 20 ml/L, and 30 ml/L) to determine their effects on plant growth parameters. Results demonstrated a significant interaction between PSB and Jakaba concentrations, with the combination of PSB at 10 ml/L and Jakaba POC at 10 ml/L yielding optimal results. This treatment produced a 37% increase in root number, 42% improvement in plant fresh weight, and 45% increase in dry weight compared to less effective treatment combinations. The enhanced growth can be attributed to improved photosynthetic efficiency, better nutrient absorption, and stimulated root development. These findings provide banana farmers with a practical, environmentally sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers that effectively supports plant growth during the critical post-acclimatization phase while reducing environmental degradation associated with conventional fertilization methods.

Abstract

The rise of sustainable finance is in accordance with the increasing emphasis on the need to implement sustainable development globally. However, inadequate research has been done on how sustainability finance practices impacts a company's financial performance. Through sustainability reports and the issuance of green bonds, this research aims to comprehend how sustainable finance practices affect financial performance. Return on Equity (ROE) serves as an indicator for financial performance in this research.  The 19 financial services companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange comprised the research's population. Path analysis was used to perform the analysis. The findings show that the issuance of green bonds is positively and significantly impacted by the caliber of sustainability reports. However, the financial performance of Indonesian financial service companies is not significantly impacted by the quality of sustainability reports or the issuance of green bonds. The impact of sustainability report quality on the financial performance of Indonesian financial service companies is positively mediated by the issuance of green bonds. The importance of utilizing green bond issuance as a strategic tool to improve the financial results linked to sustainable reporting practices is highlighted by this finding, which offers useful insights for Indonesian financial service institutions.
