Abstract

News has a great influence on social and political conditions, and news can drive the economy of a country. Identifying hoax news is very important to ensure that the information circulating in society is true and reliable, and helps limit the spread of false information. In the process of reading news spread on social media, people do not know whether it is fact or hoax news because they cannot distinguish whether the news circulating is real news or fake news which if left unchecked can result in the public being misinformed. Therefore, this research process is to create a sistem for identifying hoax news using Decision Tree C5.0, which is an algorithm for the development of the C4.5 algorithm which in a process is almost similar, but the C5.0 algorithm has more value than the C4.5 algorithm which is used for the data mining process with a classification method for 1000 data obtained by web scraping using the keywords "election 2024", "politics" and "checkfaktapilkadamafindo" on the Turnbackhoax.id and Detik.com sites. In this study, what distinguishes it from several previous studies is its existence in several test scenarios, namely classification using feature weighting, which in classification using feature weighting is TF.RF. After testing the confusion matrix on the C5.0 algorithm, it produces accuracy, precision, and recall on each training / test data (70/30) resulting in accuracy 79.33%, precision 80.00%, recall 97.00%, then training / test data (80/20) resulting in accruracy 79.50%, precision 81.00%, recall 95.00%, then training and test data (90/10) resulting in accuracy 72.00%, precision 74.00%, recall 89.00%.

Abstract

Urban regions across the globe have a multitude of issues arising from the presence of slums, which are further intensified by the rapid process of urbanization. The exponential growth of informal settlements has detrimental effects on the well-being of the populace and hinders socio-economic advancement. This paper examines these challenges in Cipinang Besar Utara sub-district, East Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Province-Indonesia, which is also one of the main growth centers in Indonesia. This study aims to assess the level of slum settlement conditions in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 14 of 2018 (Permen-PUPR No.14/RT/M/2018). The research proceeded through five stages: data collection, questionnaire design, data collection for slum settlement assessment, valuation calculations, and strategy formulation. Direct observation and interviews built on the existing profile and informed the questionnaire design. Data collected from questionnaires, assisted by local representatives, facilitates the assessment of slums against regulatory guidelines. The results of the study show that RW 12 is a non-slum area, while RW 01, RW 04 to RW 11, RW 13 and RW 14 are categorized as mild slum areas. In addition, RW 02 and RW 03 are classified as moderate slums. The suggested mitigation strategy is in accordance with Permen-PUPR No. 14/RT/M/2018, offers recommendations to address slum conditions. This study provides insights to limit the development of slum settlements in North Cipinang Besar Sub-district, contributing to its environmental improvement. This finding has implications for broader urban development policies in DKI Jakarta Province and its surroundings.

Abstract

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) have their characteristics. One of the characteristics as well as the weakness of MSEs is the lack of ability and technical skills of human resources in product processing. Empowerment to improve technical skills is carried out in the form of education and skills training following the guidelines set out in laws and regulations. However, these guidelines have not met the growing competency needs of the business world. The research method used is a normative juridical approach with a statutory approach. The results of the research obtained include technical education and skills by the government that cannot be implemented properly due to the inaccuracy of the Sumedang Cooperative, Small, Medium Enterprises, Industry and Trade Office in implementing the provisions of the guidelines of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Regulation Number 18/PER/M/KUKM/IX/2015 accompanied by incomplete guidelines and incoherent explanations. The preparation of SKKNI production for micro and small enterprises in the processing industry sector as a form of legal protection needs to be done because there are still many MSEs in the processing industry sector that find it difficult to compete with large businesses in similar sectors due to the lack of ability and competence of MSEs in carrying out production because SKKNI has not been accommodated which is specialized and tailored for the interests of MSE production competence.

Abstract

The Military Physical Education Center, known by the abbreviation Pusdikjasmil, is an implementation body that is directly under the TNI AD. Pusdikjas has the task of providing education in the military physical field to support the duties of the Indonesian Army. At the Pusdikjas agency, student data is obtained from the addition of students attending education each year. The process of admitting students to Pusdikjas institutions produces abundant value data and is repeated every year. By using data mining techniques, abundant student data can be grouped and analyzed to find information that is useful for Pusdikjas agencies. The algorithm used in this research is K-means clustering. The data used from 2018 - 2022 was 1428 data on coaching education students, with the variables used being NRP, attitude & and behavior, knowledge & and skills, and physical. Processed using the JavaScript programming language, this research produces optimal clusters, namely 2 clusters. cluster 1 with a total data of 751 students in cluster 1 describes a very satisfactory category of students, and cluster 2 with total data of 676 students. Cluster 2 describes the satisfactory student category. As for testing the quality of the clusters contained in the system using silhouette with results reaching 0.6543347543126016.

Abstract

Food menus in the culinary and restaurant industries often involve various complex features, such as food origin, food category, diet category, ingredients, and time. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the AHP method to assist chefs, restaurant managers and food business owners in compiling a diverse menu, meeting nutritional needs, taking into account certain preferences and limitations, and creating a pleasant dining experience. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method can be used as a tool in making more effective and structured decisions. The results of this study indicate that the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method succeeded in producing relative weights for each criterion and sub-criteria, thus enabling priority in preparing food menus. In testing, this system is able to provide the best recommendations based on global priority values for certain types of food, which are expected to increase the variety and quality of food menus and meet consumer preferences and needs. Through experiments conducted using a Decision Support System, a decision model is formed that determines the priority for the weight of all criteria and alternatives. The results show preferences in the process of determining food menus by producing Cold Coffee with a value of 0.30 (29%), Biscuit Dough Donuts with a value of 0.25 (25%), Chicken Dimsum with a value of 0.21 (21%), Succotash with a a value of 0.15 (15%), and Toffee Banana with a value of 0.10 (10%).
