Abstract

The problem at hand is that many people say that math is difficult learning and there are still many lessons that do not use learning media using concrete objects, resulting in monotonous learning and students are not interested or enthusiastic about learning. Therefore, there is a need for concrete object media in the learning process to increase students' interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to find out by using concrete objects media in learning mathematics can increase students' interest in learning. This research uses descriptive method. The subject of this research is the 2nd grade teacher of SDN Sumampir and data collection was carried out by interview. The result of this research is that by using concrete objects media in the mathematics learning process can make colorful learning not monotonous and can increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

This research is driven by the low of student’s critical thinking ability in learning Mathematics as well as teachers that still use conventional models during teaching and learning activities. This research aims to determine the effect of the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) learning model on students' critical thinking ability. The quasi-experimental method is used in this research along with a quantitative approach. The research design uses a non-equivalent control group pre-test post-test design. This research applied the MEA learning model to the experimental class and the conventional model to the control class. The population in this study was the fifth-grade students at one of the Pangkalpinang State Elementary Schools. Purposive sampling is used as the sampling technique. The samples in this research were Class V-A as the experimental and Class V-B as the control class. The data collection technique uses a critical thinking ability test in the form of essay questions consisting of a pre-test and a post-test. The data analysis technique in this research uses the normality test (Kolmogorov Smirnov test), homogeneity test (Fisher test), and hypothesis test which uses the dependent sample t-test (pooled variance). Based on the results of the hypothesis test using the dependent sample t-test (pooled variance), the value of tcount = 5,185 > ttable = 1,995. So, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted; it means that there is an influence of the MEA learning model on students' critical thinking ability in class V on fraction topic.

Abstract

Education in elementary schools has a central role in forming students' character and independence. The Merdeka Curriculum as an innovation in the field of education in Indonesia emphasizes student independence and the development of their potential. However, its implementation requires a deep understanding of the legal aspects of education. The juridical basis is key in ensuring the conformity of the Merdeka Curriculum with the applicable legal framework. The aim of this study is to explores the role of juridical foundations in implementing the Merdeka curriculum in elementary schools. This research was designed using qualitative methods using a library research approach (literature review). The research results show that the Pancasila educational philosophy has to become the main foundation in the national education system. Pancasila recognizes the truth of knowledge that comes from revelation, reason and experience. As a regulatory norm that must be upheld, Pancasila is a guideline in the legal order in Indonesia. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of acceptance of parents of children with autism. This is caused by the lack of parental knowledge about the characteristics of children and how to care for children with autism. Islamic Parenting Program conducted by schools is one way to increase parental acceptance. This study aims to obtain an overview of the planning, implementation, evaluation and results of the implementation of Islamic Parenting activities for parents. This research is a mixed methods research design that is a procedure for collecting, analyzing, and mixing qualitative and quantitative methods in a study. The subjects of this study were the principal, program managers, and parents of students with autism who were involved in the implementation of the Islamic Parenting program. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, documentation studies and the provision of parental acceptance scales. The results showed that: 1) Islamic Parenting program planning includes determining the goals or objectives to be achieved, the form of activities, time, place, resource persons, material, and media needed in the activities carried out by program managers. 2) the implementation of the Islamic Parenting program in the form of Parents Support Groups, Counseling or Consultation Services, Home Visit, Family Gathering, Parenting Class (Class Sharing). 3) evaluation is done through giving questions to parents according to the material delivered in the Islamic Parenting program and evaluation meetings conducted by the manager of the Islamic Parenting program and educators. 4) the results of the implementation, the Islamic Parenting program is influential in increasing the acceptance of parents of children with autism.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning system in Indonesia was carried out online. In the context of learning mathematics for junior high school students, especially algebra material, this online learning system makes students confused and do not focus on the learning material. As a result, students are unable to answer or complete or solve the algebra problems given. This situation then has a big impact on learning outcomes. For that reason, this research propose Android-Based Learning Media using MIT App Inventor on Algebra Materials. This research designed as part of development which conducted the assessment phase. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that Android-Based Learning Media using MIT App Inventor on Algebra Materials obtained a value of 89.67% with the valid category from the expert, practicality test results scored 82.44% students with very practical categories. As the conclusion the android-based MIT App Inventor learning media on algebra material is appropriate for use in the learning process.
